Jason gawked as Vio threw the ring box at him. Slowly the man grabbed the box that had now fallen to the floor. After that he asked Vio why he threw the box to him.
"Why are you throwing, Vio? Does the ring not suit your taste?" jason asked as he scratched his non-itchy head.
"You're crazy, huh? Where's the ring in it?" Vio folded his arms while throwing a sharp glare at the handsome man.
"Well!" Jason opened the small box.
Jason's pupils widened when he saw the box was empty. Contains only the usual foam used to slip the ring. The lips of the handsome man were of course gaping wide.
"Can't there be no?" Jason frowned as he looked at Vio questioningly.
"Well, who should I ask? God?" The irritated Vio lost his appetite and got out of the chair.
"Hey, hey, wait for Vio!" Jason was chasing after Vio who was sulking.
After successfully holding Vio back into his room, Jason held the woman's upper arm. He stared inside both of Vio's eyeballs. The man tried to express his feelings through the eyes.
"Actually this morning I wanted to ask you to be my wife. I want us to be legally united and a small family. Raising a baby in your womb, then aging together. But ...." Jason's words hung in the air.
Jason took a deep breath and then exhaled slowly. He grabbed Vio's two hands, lifted them to his lips, then landed a soft kiss on those wiggly fingers.
"It looks like there's been a technical fault." Jason smiled wryly at how careless he was because he could lose the ring that had been prepared a few days ago.
"What do you mean, Jason?" Vio tried to reassure his hearing.
The woman caught the point of Jason. However, he was afraid that the man would only tease her. He looked hard at Jason.
"Vio, marry me. I love you so much. I want us to always be together in joy and sorrow. Sharing happy and grieving. I want to make you a place to go home to unwind after a long day at work. Become a place of love. Do you want to marry me, Vio?"
Vio was silent for a moment. He examined every face letter Jason showed. The woman hoped that what Jason said was not just a joke or a joke.
After staring at the man before him for quite a while, Vio nodded. He began to believe that Jason was serious about what he said. Getting an answer from the tether of heart, of course, makes Jason immediately pull Vio's arm and bring him into the arms.
"Then let's have breakfast first! After that I'll ask my mother for permission to take you to Italy."
"Italy? Why go there, Jason?" Vio pushed softly onto Jason's chest, then frowned at hearing the man's words.
"I got a good job there. So, I decided to run a small business here from there alone."
"But, my father ...."
"We can make video calls every day with mom. Communication is now sophisticated, don't get confused."
"I don't think it's possible. He didn't even stop me from taking you back to the apartment."
All of Vio's worries can always be well dispelled by Jason. Finally, the woman was sure. Both of them immediately drove the car to Vio's parents' residence.
Arriving at the Smith family home, Vio and Jason immediately enter because Adam has been given permission to open the door for Vio if he visits. After waiting for a few minutes, Anna went downstairs to meet the two.
A hug from Anna lands on Vio's increasingly contained body. Both of them sat next to each other. They talked lightly until Jason finally expressed his main intention to visit Anna.
"Auntie, this is .. My purpose here other than to visit you, I intend to ask for your blessing because me and Vio are getting married." Jason looked seriously at his future mother-in-law.
"Vio has agreed, and is willing to live with me. After the marriage registration, I will take Vio to move to Italy. Would you allow it?"
There was no expression on Anna's face. The woman grabbed the cup of tea and sipped it slowly. Anna put the cup back on the table after gulping twice the clear brown liquid.
"Indeed, what can you give Vio? Are you willing to give him what the Smiths have been giving him all this time?" Anna raised one eyebrow while smiling sideways.
Jason looked to be gulping roughly. He took a deep breath then exhaled it slowly through his mouth. A gentle smile was etched on the lips of the handsome man.
"I might not be able to give the exact same as what this family gave to Vio. But, I dare to guarantee that Vio's life will be happier when he is with me. I'll give you everything Vio needs."
"That's all?" Anna chuckled, threw away a fleeting face, then looked back at Jason.
"Vio's happiness is the most important thing to me. So, I can make sure she'll always get the best smile of her life with me, Bi."
Anna seemed to nod a few times. After that, a short sentence stating that he approved of the relationship and good intentions both came out of his lips. Vio smiled broadly.
The woman hugged the body of the stepmother. Dozens of words of thanks were expressed by Vio for the mother. Anna releases Vio and gives him some messages.
"You have to keep your diet. Don't be so spoiled for Jason. Learn a little about homework. Don't let you make Jason's house fire just for cooking pasta or something."
"The bad news is, Vio did it, Auntie. He almost burned my apartment while cooking spaghetti!" jason followed Vio's sharp gaze.
Hearing the confession of his future son-in-law, of course, made Anna laugh out loud. Vio who felt made into a joke by the future husband and mother was sulking. He pursed his lips while throwing his face away.
Their conversation is over. Vio rushed to the father's room to say goodbye. Once completed, Vio and Jason go to the civil registry office to register the marriage.
As soon as the car of a couple left, the look on Anna's face changed. No more friendly smiles adorning his lips. A sharp look was now he glanced towards Jason's car which began to move away.
"Why let them just walk away, Mom?"
"Don't if Violetta left here make it easier for us to take control of Mr Smith's stupid assets?" Anna approached Jhonson then touched the tyrant of the man who was beginning to taper off.
