Chapters 15. Back to Work

"I don't know what it means for you to plan all this. But, just so you know, Vio is pregnant. Please don't burden him with too much work. Is it still the age, workplace oppression that needs to be done?" Jason stared intently at Evan and Monica.

After researching Vio's case for two days, Jason found an answer. Evan and Monica accidentally trap Vio because they do not like the presence of the woman. They work together with Angel's help as well.

"If this were to happen to me, would you also defend me?" Monica smiled wryly as she narrowed her eyes.

"It's not a matter of defending or not defending! Vio's condition made me treat him a little special."

"Special? Well, even Mr. Jason also admitted that doing the practice of favoritism in this cafe!" Monica took off the pin on the shirt, then placed it hard on the table.

The angry look from Monica now seemed to hit Jason's self-esteem. The woman folded her arms in front of her chest and then removed the apron she was wearing. Monica threw the cloth back on the floor.

"I don't need a job whose owner is unfair in treating employees! I'm resigning right now!" monica then leaves Evan and Jason.

Jason rubbed his face again. He doesn't know what else to do. The demands of the man who saved his cafe, made Jason have to do that. He has no other choice for now.

"Evan, why did you frame Vio? Don't you feel sorry?"

"Pity? What if I pity other people, they'll pity me too, sir?" Evan smiled obliquely, then took off his name pin and apron.

"Originally you know, still mending me and Monica who immediately look not like in front of people we hate. You have to be more careful with people who look good, but in fact their hearts are much more rotten!"

The man put the work attribute on Jason's desk. Evan resigned from the cafe. After Evan's departure, Jason rubbed his face rough.

Shortly afterwards, a knock on the door. Vio looks panicked when he enters Jason's room, followed by Angel. Angel kept her head down while squeezing the pants she was wearing.

"Jason, why do they look so angry?" ask plain vio.

"It's okay. Vio, can you come out for a minute? I want to talk four-eyes with Angel."

Vio turned towards Angel. Finally Vio took a rough breath because he could not believe that his three co-workers deliberately made him look guilty in Jason's eyes. The woman finally stepped out of the office.

After Vio exits, Jason asks Angel to sit down. He asks the purpose of Angel helping Evan and Monica in trapping Vio. At first the woman was silent. However, after being urged by Jason, he confessed.

"Sorry, Sir. I had to." Tears began to flood Angel's cheeks.

"I was forced to do it, because Evan and Monica were threatening me!" exclaimed Angel accompanied by sobs.

"How did they threaten you?"

"Say I will be treated the same as Vio. I will be cheated on by other employees. They don't like it when I get close to Vio and defend him." Angel continued to cry and explained what had happened.

Jason gave a rough breath. He finally asked Angel to leave the room. After Angel came out, Vio went back into the office.

"What's really going on, Jason?"

"The three of them conspired to set you up. They do it out of envy, you I treat special here."

"Well, if that's what you want. You can find another job."

Hearing the unexpected answer from Jason, it certainly made Vio stare at the man. He was wide open with wide lips. The woman really didn't expect that answer to come out of Jason's lips.

Disappointment back in Vio's heart. He finally took off the name pin, then gave it to the boss. Seeing Vio's attitude, of course, made Jason chuckle.

"Hey, sulking fellow! You're really gonna get out of here?"

Vio pursed his lips while nodding quickly. He was very upset with Jason. He wanted Jason to understand that he still wanted to be next to him.

Vio felt so comfortable when he was near Jason. He also felt that the man in front of him was reliable and capable of protecting him from the cruelty of the outside world. That impression was the first time Vio had ever met Jason.

Jason was always there when Vio was on the edge and feeling desperate. Jason is always present at the right time, so his passion to live life is back on his feet.

"You can't stop! If it's reckless, then you should also leave my apartment!"

Jason stared intently at Vio. The woman also looked down. She smiled behind the hair covering her face.

Vio's heart was cheering happily at this moment. Jason prevented it in a different way. Vio considers that he is indeed an important part of Jason's life.

"Well if you force it!" Vio raised his face again, then walked over while jumping small towards the door.

After the door closed, Jason's face changed. A big smile was engraved on the lips of the man. All of Vio's behavior was able to keep him entertained.

Vio is a new world that God created for her, even though the presence of the woman starts from a compulsion. Jason hoped the task given to him could be done well, so that all could end peacefully.

"I think .. I'm starting to like you, Vio."

Vio's working hours are over. The cafe looks so busy due to the shortage of employees. However, on the other hand it becomes a blessing for the surviving employees. They earn more money by working overtime.

Since Vio works at Jason's cafe, the place has become crowded with visitors. Even now Jason uses the cafe terrace to accommodate customers who want to relax there. This was done on the advice of Vio.

"Vio!" call Angel when Vio is about to leave the locker.

Vio only smiled faintly because to be honest he was very upset with Angel. The woman who looks good like an angel turns out to be in cahoots with Evan and Monica. Suddenly Angel grabbed Vio's fingers.

"Don't touch me, Angel!" Sontak Vio flicked his arm, until Angel's hand was released.

"Vio, I'm sorry. I did it because I had to. Otherwise, they will continue to bully me. They always do if there are new employees here. That's why many employees come in and out, and ...."

"You think I believe what you say, Angel?" Vio folded his arms in front of his chest while smiling sideways.
