Valerie and Melanie walked through a crowded shopping area while having a light conversation with their grocery bags.

"How about we have lunch first we look for your pregnancy needs?" ask Melanie.

"Pity, my niece must be starving in there" said Melanie, putting on a sad face while rubbing Vale's stomach.

Vale put on an astonished face while pressing his lips into a flat line, then moved Melanie's hand away from her stomach. "Stop! Remember, don't do things that make people suspicious. Sean said ears and eyes were everywhere" Vale said in a soft tone. Melanie patted the eel realizing her mistake.

"Ah yes, sorry I forgot." Melanie said as she put her hands together apologizing.

"Let's eat first." said Vale as he continued his steps.

Valerie and Melanie step together towards a restaurant inside the Mall. But on the way, Valerie's eyes accidentally caught a familiar figure coming out of a clothing store.

Valerie squinted her eyes to confirm her vision, then stopped for a moment. Melanie looked at Vale confused as her best friend suddenly stopped without warning.

"Why Vale?" ask Melanie wonder.

"Anne."

"What?"

Melanie who heard it, immediately spread her eyes towards Valerie looking. And it's true that Anna was seen with a foreign man now walking in the corridor of the Mall.

"Who is Anna?" ask the man to Anna who is still silent.

"Ahh sorry, I'm Valerie and my best friend Melanie, we're employees at Ms. fiancee's company. Petrova." said Vale bowed politely and introduced himself and Melanie.

The man instantly fell silent and looked towards Anna with a face that was both paled and confused.

"I'm sorry if I could ask, you said Ms. Petrova?" vale asked again and the man immediately looked at Anna for a moment, then looked at Vale nervously.

"I'm Nikolay Lermontov, I've been Anna's best friend since I was a child" said the man.

Vale nodded. "Did he come from Russia to meet Anna?" ask Vale in my heart.

Valerie still put on a wide smile that looked annoying in Anna's eyes.

"We'll have lunch, I'd like to invite Ms. Petrova and Mr. Lermontov to come if you have time. I want to apologize and treat Ms. Petrova because it was at Restaurant I just left and made Ms. Petrova paid for my lunch with Aiden. Can you?" vale asked looking at the two people in front of him fixedly.

The man looked at Anna who was thinking hard with nervous trembling eyes. "Maybe next time, Nikolay wants to buy souvenirs because tomorrow he has to go back to Russia and I have to accompany him." said Anna at length while trying to smile sweetly as she often does.

"Dearly enough. Then next time. Enjoy New York City Mr. Lermontov." said Vale while bowing politely. The two men tried to smile, then continued their steps away from Melanie and Valerie.

Melanie, who had been watching and smiling, immediately grabbed Vale's arm.

Vale looked at Melanie with a flat face after hearing her best friend's words.

Melanie nodded. Valerie stepped hand in hand towards the Restaurant they wanted to head to from the very beginning.

"Then just tell Sean and wait for news from him" Vale said.

Vale nodded, then smiled in light of yesterday's incident with Sean. "After we opened up to each other, I became more confident facing Anna. This relationship runs between two parties, between me and Sean. So, who had to go through it was the two of us, not just Sean." said Vale staring Melanie fixed with sparkling eyes.

Melanie nodded in understanding. "Huhh, just make people jealous. Don't talk about your love story in front of me anymore!" said Melanie put on a pissed-off and pissed-off face. Valerie smiled, then laughed at hearing that.

"You should also find your partner Mel. You always play at the club, play with the men there and change partners, but nothing serious" Vale said staring at Melanie who still had an upset face.
