Chapter 66's

Five days passed since he reached Russia, today finally came. The day he left his native country.

Valerie pulls her suitcase along with Aiden and Jovan, who take her to the airport. Valerie hugs Jovan before she steps in with Aiden to the jet.

Until it was not felt, he arrived in New York at night. On the jet, he spends time sleeping, eating and chatting with Aiden. Aiden drove Vale home because no one picked him up at the airport.

After arriving home, Vale decided to go to bed without changing clothes.

Valerie rubbed her eyes slowly, while yawning widely. Get up from the bed, step into the bathroom and shower so casually.

When she was done, Valerie stepped into the usual dining and breakfast house with her Grandpa and Grandma. After not working anymore, Valerie runs her life like a zombie.

"Where is your vacation?" ask Grandpa.

"Grow. Vale to Mama Papa's shop and to where Vale used to play as a kid. You know, it turns out Aiden was Vale's little friend in Russia. Vale always called him Will and it turned out that Aiden's middle name was William." Vale said at length.

Grandfather nodded in understanding. "Mama-Papa Bread Shop is also still the same as the old Cake. The interior is still the same even though there is a little renovation maybe because of the age factor." said Vale again and Grandpa nodded back.

"Vale, so you don't work anymore?" ask Grandma.

Vale shakes. "Later Vale find a job." Vale replied casually.

"People from your office come home every day" Grandma said. Vale frowned then nodded while chewing his food.

"Today maybe he's coming again. You just work there again, why did you suddenly stop?" Grandma said. Vale stopped chewing hearing her Grandma's question.

There's no way he's saying he's out because of love. Maybe his grandfather taught himself to be professional, distinguish work and personal affairs. The problem here, Vale is difficult to try to be Professional, but Sean is indeed a man who played tricks on his heart at that time, until his anger can not be pacified anymore.

"Now looking for a job is difficult, you even get out of a famous company so." added his grandmother again.

"Yes, Vale will think about it" said Vale did not want to discuss it further.

Until the sound of the bell rang, Vale immediately turned his head with a panicked face. Is that the guy from his office? Her aunt quickly opened the door. Vale sat with an anticipating face. Long after the door opened, the aunt did not return.

Eventually, her aunt returned to the dining room and faced Valerie.

"Miss, someone from the office is back looking for Miss" said her aunt.

"That must be the same guy. Where you found!" added Grandma again. Vale put on a sullen face while drinking water nervously.

Who always comes to his house? Valerie stepped towards the living room and finally looked at the figure of Lucy sitting on the sofa with an impatient face.

Lucy, the chatty middle-aged woman who always likes to punish and scold him. Lucy who noticed Valerie's arrival, immediately turned her head and threw a forced smile.

Valerie joined in a forced smile seeing the woman in front of her smiling horribly like that. Valerie sat in front of Lucy still with her forced smile.

"What's Mom Lucy doing to my house?" ask Vale directly.

"Valerie, you're back to work?" Vale fell silent and looked at Lucy in wonder.

"But I'm legitimately out of there" Vale said.

"Yes, it's okay to come in and work again. I assume you've been taking time off." said Lucy still with a smile.

"But..."

"Valerie, if you don't come back, I can't go back there either" Lucy said with a pleading face. Valerie frowned looking at Lucy's scared face.

Lucy's eyes were rounded with a panicked face. What he had to do, obviously he had to hide that this was all a threat from his superiors.

Lucy nibbled on worried lips, petting out what answers were best. Until finally he nodded while breathing out. "I was threatened by Mr. Romanovs. If you don't go back to work, I won't work there anymore either." Lucy said at length. Valerie let out a breath of understanding. Vale's hands squeezed each other doubtfully.

"I beg you to come back." Lucy said desperately.

Valerie took a deep breath, strengthening her heart to decide the best. Suck his breath again and finally nodded. "Alright" said Vale. Lucy smiled triumphantly, got up and hugged Vale who got up as Lucy got up all of a sudden.

"You should start work tomorrow. In return, I will treat you well." Lucy took off her hug, then grabbed her bag.

"I'm going to the office to take care of your return. Remember tomorrow!" lucy said excitedly, then moved out of Vale's house.

Vale stared at Lucy's departure with a sad face. In Vale's heart whispered, he went back there again.

Valerie stared at the tall building in front of her with a pounding heart. He returned to this place. Valerie clasped her left chest to calm her heartbeat. Valerie took a breath and threw it away while closing her eyes. In his heart he strengthened himself so as not to be nervous and to act ordinary.

Valerie stepped into the building, returned the greeting of the employee who greeted her in the lobby, then entered the elevator. Pressing the elevator button to the floor of the room.

The sealed iron box was perfectly greeted by Valerie who was throwing her rough breath.

"They greeted me like nothing had happened" Vale said, monologuing alone inside the box.

"Did they not know I was quitting?" ask Vale again to himself. Valerie looks like a fool at the moment, not even realizing someone is watching her funny behavior now through the CCTV elevator.

Valerie exited the elevator as she reached the floor of her room. Valerie walked into her room, sitting on a chair she hadn't seen for long enough.

Vale opened his desk drawer making sure his things were still in place. Valerie came out all of a sudden, so she was carrying only the essentials.

Vale opened the bottom drawer, reached out to the back and grabbed a box with a pen inside. This pen is also still neatly stored in the drawer.

Vale put it back down and began to arrange the whole thing as it was.

Until the sound of knocking on the door interrupts Vale's activities.

"Lake in!"

"Excuse me Ms. Vasylchenko, you are called by the President Director." The movement of Vale's hand tidying the file on the table immediately stopped hearing it.

Vale swallowed in disbelief. Vale raised his head, staring at a woman who entered his room.

"Now?" ask Vale with a stupid face.

"Yes Ms. Vasylchenko." she replied, which made Vale's heart grow weak.

"I'll come." said Vale soberly.

The woman left and came out of Vale's room, while Vale was now standing nervously squeezing his hand. Valerie mistress. The thought now was just, how should he behave in front of Sean?

From the previous episode, it has begun to rue how Sean has been able to enter the house even Vale to his room. Yes, it was because he had indeed conspired with Grandpa and Grandma Vale. So, yes, if you want to go in, just go in.
