"Md. Petrova, I heard that your engagement is about to take place, are you getting engaged in Russia?" ask Aiden. Valerie immediately raised her head to look at Aiden. Did the man realize that the question made Vale's heart ache?

"Of course in Russia. I wish Mr. Zachary can be present at our party." Anna replied as she stroked Sean's arm and threw a warm smile at the man.

Vale tries to be as neutral as possible in front of Sean and his fiancee. It difficult? Sure oes. However, Vale did not want to look pitiful in front of the man. Vale had been feeling pretty miserable that night, at Sean's residence.

"I'll come if you've invited me directly like this" Aiden said politely.

"I hope you bring your partner along too, there will be a dance later." Anna said with a friendly smile. Vale was silent, even they had planned this Sematang engagement party.

"I also hope to bring the woman I love to come there" Aiden replied as he glanced at Valerie. Vale was unaware of Aiden's gaze, the girl was busy daydreaming with all her thoughts.

"Vale, do you want to be my partner?" ask Aiden. Vale was still daydreaming not even realizing Aiden's question.

Melanie hastily nudges Vale and resuscitates her best friend. "Yes" said Vale, waking up from his daydream with a clumsy smile.

Valerie answered the origin because she did not know what they had been talking about since. Aiden smiled at Vale's reply.

"You agree?" ask Aiden again.

Vale smiled confusedly with a frown. Agreed what? What's been going on since? Vale looked at Aiden's expectant face. Vale nodded stiffly, not knowing what to do.

"Goodoo. When did your engagement take place?" ask Anna.

"Next week." said Anna.

"I didn't expect it to be this fast" said Aiden, who returned a happy smile to Anna.

Since then Sean was only silent and occasionally glanced at Valerie who was silent while eating her food slowly.

Sean felt his chest tighten, Valerie had not even intended to glance at him since. They both seem to have never known. Sean strengthened himself again. It's the best.

Valerie suddenly got up while raising her tray. "I'm done eating. If Mr. Romanov and Ms. Petrova still wants to talk to Aiden, I say goodbye first." said Vale while bowing his head politely. Valerie moved quickly and Melanie followed her best friend after coming down politely to her boss.

Aiden looked at Valerie's back who stepped out of her. "Md. Petrova, you two must need some time together. I have to catch up with my lover." said Aiden who was met with a smile by Anna. While Sean stared intently at Aiden who started to stand up.

Aiden ran after Valerie and Melanie who had entered the elevator. Before the elevator doors closed, Aiden sped up his pace and managed to get inside, even leaving his guards behind.

Vale looked at Aiden fixedly, then turned his face away. "Don't I say I don't want to be involved with people like you anymore. Stop pulling me in between you!" valerie said with a flushed face holding back tears.

Aiden was silent looking at Vale who turned his face away from him. Slowly, Aiden tried to grab Vale's soft cheek, but Valerie threw Aiden's hand rough.

"You know I still love men like him, but why do you have to ask me about their relationship? You know it hurts me. Stay there, only I'll be hurt." Vale said with heated eyes, until his tears fell. Again and again without stopping.

Aiden immediately pulled Vale into his arms. Vale rebelled violently, but Aiden tightened his embrace.

Vale rebelled in vain. His strength runs out if he has to fight Aiden again and finally he gives up and allows himself to be trapped in Aiden's arms. Without them knowing Melanie had gone out of there and down on the floor of her room.

Vale sobbed inside Aiden's chest and his hand gripped Aiden's suit tightly. Aiden stroked Vale's hair and back up and down to calm him down.

"I hate it." isak Vale frustrated.

"I hate you Sean" Vale said.

"You deserve better than him Vale." (You deserve better than him, Vale.) whispered Aiden softly.

"He stone my whole heart, then threw it away like trash. You are right, I desire better than him. But..." (He stole all parts of my heart, then threw them away like trash.)

"Let me take his place." cut Aiden. (Let me take his place.)

Vale was silent at Aiden's words.

"Let me go into your heart and get him out of there. Let me heal the wound he has infected." (Let me enter into your heart and get rid of him from there. Let me treat the wounds incised by him.)

Valerie raised her tearful face and looked at Aiden's face who was looking at her seriously.

Valerie was silent for a moment though tears still came down from her eyes. Valerie can see the firmness of Aiden's eyes. Vale could see how Aiden was trying to make himself see the man.

"But you deserve better than me." Vale said with a quivering tone. Aiden is too good for her to ever be harassed by an Sean.

"I need you. I just want you in my life. I don't need anything if I have you." replied Aiden as he clasped Vale's cheek full of tears. Vale did not resist as Aiden gently rubbed his tear-filled cheeks. (I need you. I just want you in my life. I need nothing if I have you.)

The cry of Vale stopped leaving the silence of the two humans. Aiden looked at Vale softly and Vale looked at Aiden closely.

Until finally, Aiden slowly began to bring his face closer, staring at the lips of Ranum Vale who had been teasing him since. The sobbing lips are so funny. Aiden began to tilt his face to reach for the pink object. But suddenly the clinking elevator stopped Aiden's reckless actions.

The elevator door opened right on Valerie's floor. Vale turned his face away as Aiden's lips stayed a few inches away from touching his lips.

Vale pushed Aiden away, then out of the box. Aiden looked at Vale who was standing facing him, but was already outside the elevator.

"So is my first love. I can't take you this fast. If I do, then I'm no different than Sean. I just need more time and need more space to move on."

"However, I didn't promise to love you after forgetting about it. You can find a better woman than Aiden." Vale said gently with a sincere smile. Until the elevator door slowly closed, revealing Aiden's lethargic face.
