With a hasty step, I entered the meeting room.all the commissioners have been present, papa as well. If only the road would not be jammed. I certainly wouldn't be stuck there. Up to an hour.
"I'm sorry, I was stuck in traffic" I said regretfully. Papa just glanced at me. Dion, who was sitting next to Papa, gave a quick nudge.
"Okay, since everyone is already here, let's start the meeting. Crispy, what about the monthly report of the project you're working on?" said papa. I immediately stood up from my chair and handed over the map containing some files.
"This, Pa," I said and explained some of the things that become obstacles on the field. Papa was bearded after checking the file I submitted. " Mister Tara will accompany you to meet them." Then papa gave instructions to Dion on the matter I was facing with regard to legal matters.
"Good, Sir. After the meeting, we'll review the location" Dion said. Papa nodded.
After the meeting lasted more than two hours, I was finally able to breathe a sigh of relief. The number of interruptions earlier when I made a presentation was quite draining my brain as well. I was quite tired, and wanted to lie down for a while to relax my stiff muscles.
When the meeting participants had dispersed, I hurriedly headed for my room. Just now that I was sitting breathing a sigh of relief on the sofa, suddenly Dion had already caught up with me coming in. No more knocking on the door.
"Reny, please help, me," he suddenly panicked.
"What's wrong?" I was shocked and stood up.
"Romez, Ren. He's in the hospital. I just got a call from the school teacher.
"Can I go to the hospital? Was he sick before?" ask me and try to calm Dion down.
"I don't know. Raisa rarely gets sick, even if the pain is just an ordinary fever. Not to be taken to the hospital" he said worried.
"Ok, let's just go to the hospital, hopefully nothing happens." I immediately rushed over. My sleep is gone nowhere.
I've never seen Dion's face this stiff and sweet. Although many problems or challenges in his work, he was able to overcome, but just heard his son entered the hospital he was this sweet.
We went straight to the room where Raisa was being treated. There are still school teachers there. Because Dion was hard to call, at the meeting.
"How's my son doing, ma'am?" dion asked Raisa's teacher. Raisa was sleeping when we arrived.
"The fever's down, sir. He had a seizure, ", explained Ms. Nita, Raisa's class teacher.
"Thank you, ma'am, for taking Raisa to the hospital. Sorry, message and phone mom, I didn't respond. My phone's in silent because it fits a meeting in the office."
"It's okay, sir. It has become our duty. Now that you and I are here, please come home."
"Eh, yes Ma'am. Thanks again, Mom. This is for the cost of the mother to go home," said Dion gave money into the hands of Bu Nita. Bu Nita refuses, but because Dion insists on the end, Bu Nita accepts.
Dion walked up to the door, and I sat down near Raisa.
His hot forehead was already somewhat normal. As a result of my touch, Raisa opened her eyes. I smiled and was relieved when I saw Raisa awake.
"Mama, mama don't go again, huh? Don't leave Raisa again, will you?"
I was shocked to hear Raisa's words. Is he delirious again? Not that he was literate, but his eyes were not focused, see. It might still be gathering its power as it was just awake. But when I touched her arm, it turned out that Raisa did not respond. Looks like he's still asleep, which means he was delirious.
I don't know what Raisa's dream is, until delirious like that.
" He said, so that his mother wouldn't go" I said.
Dion frowned, confused.
"Raisa's delirious, probably because of her fever" I explained.
"But he doesn't know his mother. How could she dream of her mother."
"Believe it or not, as still as she is small her mother must often be present to take care of her. After he grew up, he became familiar from the photos. Well that's what's going to carry over into his subconscious." I said.
Dion stroked Raisa's head, gently. His eyes are so loving. Dion looks so fragile.
"The one thing I haven't been able to fulfill her request, she always wanted me to give her a mother. But, the death of her own mother still leaves a deep trauma in my mind." Dion spoke out, word for word he spoke made me feel sympathy.
"Actually, what happened to her mother, Raisa." I tried to extract a story from Dion, why he was so secretive after his wife's death.
"I feel like I failed to protect her. I shouldn't have trusted them too much. Even though they are his brothers and parents. But what can be done, it's all happened." Finally, Dion tells the story of his wife's death.
"Don't you come home for a long time tonight, okay?" Cindy said.
"Yes, after my business is done, my brother will fly straight home" Dion stroked his wife's belly. His wife is in this month. So he should be a standby husband.
"I'm serious, Bang. Don't joke, ah." Cindy pouted.
"Yes, honey. I'll be home in the afternoon. No overtime until you give birth. Why the hell, you're afraid you're staying, and there's also Mely's mother?"
"But I want to, Brother, who is beside me," said Cindy spoiled. Dion knows it too. His wife's relationship with his stepmother was not good. Dion wondered why suddenly his in-laws and sister-in-law came to the house, arguing that his wife was close to giving birth.
Poor no one takes care of. Although Cindy protested and on the grounds of not wanting to trouble her mother and brother. Even Dion himself, who offered to stay temporarily in their home.
Finally Cindy can not refuse, maybe indeed stepmother and step sister sincerely want to accompany him, and take care of him when giving birth later. So without suspicion or hesitation Cindy also accepted them.
But what happened, that night, when Cindy told Dion to go home quickly, there was heavy rain throughout the afternoon until night.
So that Dion was late to go home, because of flooding on several roads through it. So Dion was forced to postpone his return .
Meanwhile, Cindy felt her stomach break down. It seemed like she was about to give birth, but because of the rain she could not get to the midwife's house in their housing complex. Many times Cindy contacted Dion but was unsuccessful, due to a signal disturbance.
My mother and sister Mely had been out of the house since late afternoon and had not come home. It might also rain. They also could not be contacted.
Not strong enough to withstand the pain when she wanted to give birth, Cindy fell on the steps of the terrace, which is slippery. As the rain subsided, Dion saw many calls on his phone, from his wife.
When she contacted her in-laws and sister-in-law there was no answer and was inactive. Arriving at home, Dion saw his wife had collapsed on the porch. Dion also slipped, because of the slippery floor. Seems like on purpose, there's a lot of oil spilled in his house.
My in-laws and sister-in-law disappeared somewhere with some jewelry and other valuables. ****
