The Lost Sense

The Lost Sense
Chapter 35

It's not him who took you from me. But I was the one who lost my timing from the beginning.

***Aditama Bagas***.

From a distance there was also a man who shed tears. Now that it was all over, he had completely lost his beloved woman.

Everyone at the party congratulated the bride and groom. Likewise with the man he walked closer to the couple who had been legally husband and wife.

A light blue colored box he held tightly. Blue is Lisa's favorite color.

"Republica?" Lala stops Bagas from meeting Lisa.

"Hi La."

"You just came?."

Bagas only nodded his head in response to Lala's question.

As Bagas turned towards Lisa. He did not see the woman in her place.

"You want to see Lisa? maybe he's in the back garden. Let me take you!."

They walk in tandem. Lala Pamit to the husband first because she wants to take Bagas to Lisa. Lala felt sad to see the man walking with her at this moment. Lala was the one who knew the most about the relationship between the two. They both like to be quiet. And when Bagas was ready to reveal all the women he loved had received an arranged marriage from his parents.

Lisa was sitting on a long bench made of trembesi wood. He said goodbye to Sakti to rest his tired body. Perhaps it was his heart that was tired.

"Lisa!" the call of someone he had very memorized was correct. His heart rumbled wanting to cry out wanting to hug the man who called his name at this moment. But what people say later. A married woman cries for another man. Maybe he does not care anymore people's words.Maybe this is the last time he wants to hug the man.

Lisa turned around the body she saw Bagas so handsome today. The man smiled gently at Lisa. A smile that covered a million wounds. Carrying a gift wrapped in blue paper, his favorite color. Why does Bagas know so much about himself? why does Lisa not fight for her love for the man in front of her at this time. Is he sorry now.

"I'll just go to the toilet for a second, okay?." Lala leaves Bagas and Lisa in the backyard.

Now they both sit facing each other. Table made of wood trembesi long and thick into a barrier of both. No words came out of the mouths of the two. Just shut up and look at each other.

"This is for you?." Hand over the blue box.

"What'sthis? why are you carrying all this?."

"Something that will make you happy." Bagas smiled imagining Lisa's reaction to knowing what was inside.

Slowly Lisa opened the wrapping paper. "Do you remember this?" Lisa lifted the gift.

"Of course I remember, and whatever it is about you I'll remember."

The gift was a snowball Lisa so wanted to have it but had to buy it in Bandung.

"Isn't it the same, whether from Jakarta or Bandung, what's the difference?"

"Different, anyway later we go to Bandung should buy it sometime huh?."

"Yes, I'll buy it."

A glimpse of the memory pieces as they chatted about snowball. Lisa was so eager to have that thing but it had to be that of Bandung. Clear circles drip out without any excuse from both corners of Lisa's eyes. Again Bagas touched his heart.

"There used to be one of my friends giving this when we tour Bandung. But it broke when I fell because I wasn't careful when I took it. It was a gift from my friend who was about to move to another city. And until now I have never met him again. " Lisa said with regret.

" Oh, you accidentally dropped it, didn't you?. " Inadvertently Bagas' hand stretched forward to wipe away Lisa's tears.

" Thank you."

" Yes, be happy?"

" A lot of people love the sky. But I don't know if I don't like her."

"Why?."

"I feel like I'm feeling sadness."

"I'm here, so don't be sad!."

"You are that twilight, I saw it only for a moment. And all will be lost in exchange for a dark night."

Bagas knew very well what Lisa's words meant.

"Sorry, am I the less persistent fight for you? forgive my stupidity? I'm sorry for making you sad? I'm sorry for..."

Lisa was just shaking her head in response to Bagas' words. He covered his face with both palms. To cover the tears that kept flowing from the corner of his eyes.

Bagas could not continue his words. He rose from his seat crouching before the woman he loved. To remove the tears that kept flowing from the beautiful eyes of the woman. Then he hugged very tightly as if he did not want to be let go.

At a wedding under the twilight sky, two people who love each other are hugging while crying. Not a happy cry because there is a wedding party. But the sad cry and regret of two people who love each other.

Author's note: Thank you for taking the time to read my work. Please come and like if you like it..

I made this part a bit bad because I myself was once in a position between the three of them. Don't ask me which one? 🤭

For the snowball prize it was really from my real story that can be from a friend who was willing to move to another city at that time. And until now we never see again 😢

I do not know his name nyari in google snowball yaudah use that word alone. And indeed bought it in Bandung at that time. Until now Bandung is my favorite city a city of a million memories.
