S2. Envying

Matilda widened her eyes to hear Jared's orders to Diana. Her heart was completely burnt seeing Diana now together with the handsome man.

The envy in his heart was like it had just been watered until it grew more fertile.

"Try there, I'll wait for you here."

"Hmm, okay. How many shoes should I try?"

"A minimum of 4 pairs of shoes."

"But what if Celine doesn't like the shoes I chose?" Diana seemed to still be reluctant just the two with Matilda. He was like dealing with a killer lecturer at a thesis hearing.

"If so you should wear it."

"You help me choose, how?"

Jared smiled faintly and rubbed Diana's hair gently. "Tell me if you can't get away from me, Di."

"Shut up, Jared. I'm going home soon. I'm tired."

"Okay, I'll help you choose."

Jared turned his head towards Matilda, but apparently the woman was looking at Diana with a look of hatred. Jared's eyebrows are linked. She didn't like the way Matilda looked at Diana.

"Is there any other waiter?" jared asked with a heavy voice.

"Ti_no master," replied Matilda nervously. He was worried that Jared would not use his services because of Diana.

"If so, be friendly to the customers you are serving. I don't like the way you look at Diana. Or do you want me to call the store manager?"

"Ti_no, Sir. Please forgive me."

"Alright, I won't bother with it, but if I see you putting on that annoying face in front of Diana again, I won't hesitate to ask the manager of this store to fire you," jared said as he put both his hands in his pants pocket.

Diana bit her lips. Why is Jared suddenly acting like that? He was afraid that the big head would feel defended by his master's son.

"Walk by raising your head. If you walk down, people will underestimate you. Show them you deserve respect, too."

Jared looked at Diana with a gentle look. I don't know why Diana was getting scared close to Jared. Even since then the man has continued to hold his hand wherever.

Diana took off Jared's hand she advanced towards the shoe storefront. Matilda lowered her head beside Diana, but inwardly she was annoyed half-deadly at the girl.

"Matilda, can you grab that shoe on that side." Diana pointed at the top shelf. Matilda clucked in annoyance. Jared glared straight at me.

"Pardon me, ", said Matilda, lest she lose her job because of Diana. Matilda took the stairs and picked up the shoes Diana wanted.

"Diana is that you?" A neat-looking man approached Diana and Matilda. Matilda really did not like this situation.

"I_yes."

"Hey, why are you that much to me?" ask the man again.

"Who is he, Di?"

"Di_he's the manager of this shop."

"Oh." Jared only glanced at her at a glance then refocused on staring at Diana's chosen shoes.

"You tried those shoes."

"I_yes." Diana sat down and looked at the shoes she had chosen. He used to buy shoes like this, but now even touching them he is worried about damaging them.

Diana took a deep breath. His hand had not hung immediately to touch the shoe. Unexpectedly, Jared lowered his head to pick up the shoes and tried to put them on Diana's feet.

"Jp .... " Diana seemed surprised by Jared's behavior. He was about to pull his leg, but Jared's hand held it.

"Sshh, shut up."
