Chapter 47. Vengeances

Now they and their family go to the restaurant where Ben and his business partner. As Ben and Giani walked into the luxurious restaurant, it appeared that a pair of eyes from a man were observing them with a gaze that was hard to interpret.

As usual Jack and Jarret walk in front of his parents. Ben just smiled at the behavior of his two children.

A middle-aged man and his wife welcome Ben.

"Hello, Mr. Ben."

"Hello Mr. Derrick, Hello Mrs. Anne."

Mr. Derrick and his wife smiled kindly and greeted Ben as well as Giani.

"Is this your wife, Mr Ben?"

"Yes, Mr. Derrick. He's Giani my wife and they're both my sons."

"Oh, this is very surprising. I thought you were a single man all along. You never knew you had a kid as big as them. They're so funny."

"Thank you for the compliment, Mr. Derrick," Jack replied with a faint smile.

"Oh, you're so sweet, honey." Mrs Anne looked at Jack.

"Everyone always says so, Miss Anne."

"Oh, my God. You're really sweet-mouthed. Then what's your brother's name?"

"He's Jarret's brother. He and I were born just a few minutes apart. Back then in mommy's stomach I purposely relented and let Sis Jarret out first."

Everyone laughs at Jack, except Jarret. He seemed annoyed that Jack always wanted to stand out among them.

"Let's sit down, please" said Mr. Derrick, inviting Ben and his family.

They finally sat around the round table. Mr. Derrick coded the waiter to serve the food he had ordered before Ben arrived.

Meanwhile, the pair of eyes that had been staring at the presence of Ben and his little family seemed to clench their hands. She quite felt her heart burn seeing how Ben put his hand on the body of his lady puja.

"Look at. I'll have your happiness gone in a minute, Ben. I'll get rid of the people you love. Just so you know what it's like to lose" the man sighed.

"Hi, Dawson. Why did you call me here?" Rick's cousin Dawson just came in and made Dawson take his eyes off.

"I need your help this time."

"Tell me what you want."

Rick turned his gaze and stared at Dawson.

"Isn't that Benjamin Alexander?"

"You're right."

"Forget your revenge it's Dawson and think about your future."

"You think it's easy?"

"If you don't want to do it, I'll do it myself."

"I don't want to" Rick said. For a moment he took a deep breath. "You know how he's dealing with his enemy, right?" rick asked with a serious look.

"I know, but this time my decision's been unanimous."

"Sorry I can't help you. Freya is pregnant. I don't want to make her a widow and have to take care of our son alone."

"Well, I'm not gonna force you, Rick."

"Thanks, David. Then I'll go."

Dawson just nodded and smiled faintly. After Rick got out. Dawson turned on his phone and contacted his men.

"Rick just got out of the restaurant. Follow him and finish him off. Make it look like he had a terrible accident. He has dared to refuse my request."

"Good, Boss."

Dawson smiled faintly. Rick will be a threat to her if he keeps her hanging around, because Rick has learned of his plan to get rid of Ben's kids.

Ben looked relaxed while talking to his business partner. Lady Anne even offered Giani to play at their house.

Giani seemed happy to talk to Anne's mistress. It was as if he was talking to his mother.

"Thank you for the banquet, Mr. Derrick, Mrs Anne. Next time visit my mansion. I'll take turns entertaining you guys."

"Thank you, we will definitely fulfill your invitation." The couple finally let go of Ben and his family.
