Chapters 30. The Hospital

Ben was shocked when he got the report from Ramos. He is currently in Sidney to take care of some work. The plan after finishing his work he will meet his children and also Giani

"You've investigated it?"

"No, Mister. However, I've informed Miss Giani and she seems to be in shock."

"All right, I'll be home soon."

Ben rubbed his face rough. He was disappointed.he should have placed some bodyguards there in order to keep the father Giani.

Ben immediately contacted his men to prepare the plane so that he could return to Melbourne immediately. He could not imagine how Giani was currently. That woman must have felt very sad and devastated.

Like Ben, Giani immediately invited his children to fly to Melbourne that morning. Giani had already explained to Martha and Thomas about his father. Jack and Jarret were shocked to hear this.

"Are you okay, Giani? You look pale."

"I'm fine, Elena. Sorry I had to trouble you.

At the airport Ben sees Giani as well as his two sons. Previously he had asked Elena about Giani's condition. Ben went straight to Giani.

"Daddy!" Jack was the first to see Ben hugging Ben's leg. Ben smiled gently and rubbed Jack's head. With his strength Ben raised Jack and invited him to approach Giani who was sitting while covering his face.

Ben doesn't know what to say to Giani. He wanted to cheer Giani up, but he was confused where to start.

"Daddy, does daddy know if grandpa died?"

"Yes, Daddy knows. That's why daddy's coming back to Melbourne. Dady wanted to see you guys later in the day."

"I'm going to defend my condolences" Ben told Giani. Giani opened his hand and looked up. He smiled faintly and nodded.

Ben's men approached and informed him that Ben's private plane was ready.

"Let's go to Melbourne soon."

"We've booked a plane ticket."

"Come with me, it'll shorten the time. Don't you want to see Professor Gilbert immediately?"

Giani nodded weakly. He got up from his seat. However, he felt his head like it was hit by a hard object. Giani almost fell unconscious. Luckily Ben could catch it with one hand. Elena immediately took Jack from Ben's sling.

"Mommy." Jarret looked anxiously at his mother. He never saw his mother like this. Jack was equally worried.

"You two and Elena go to the plane first. Daddy's gonna bring your mommy."

"But, Dad?"

"Jack come!" Jarret walked after Elena. He refused to be held captive by Elena. Jack eventually caught up with his brother though he occasionally turned his head and looked anxiously at his mother and father.

Ben lifts Giani's body. He caught up with his two sons followed by some of his men. For a moment Ben glanced at Giani's face. It seemed like he was really devastated by the departure of his father. Even Ben saw clearly that closed eyes had eye bags.

While on the plane, Ben immediately sat with Giani still holding. Jarret occasionally glanced at his father and mother. He can see how the man treats his mother well, but if he is reminded of the story of his mother's past, resentment again overwhelms Jarret's heart.

Ben put a seatbelt on his body and Giani. Despite the distress, but the man managed to overcome the small problem. Their plane started flying and before long, the plane they were traveling on reached Melbourne.

"Daddy is mommy okay?"

"Where are we going after this?"

"We went to the hospital to see Grandpa's body."

Jackson just nodded. Jarret has been watching his mother ever since. He approaches Ben and presses the vein in his mother's hand. Jarret watched his mother's clock and pulse. However, then he breathed a sigh of relief after learning his mother had indeed only passed out normally.

Ben smiled at how Jarret worried about Giani, but kept his cool. Ben was amazed by the mastery of his first son.

Elena gives Ben a bottle of oil as soon as their car arrives at a hospital. Gilbert's body was taken there because the case was handled by the police.

Ben moved Giani in the seat next to him. He did not want to be mistaken to take the opportunity when Giani realized later. Ben put the oil bottle close to Giani's nose. It took a while until Giani opened his eyes. When it dawned, Giani looked dazed. He's spreading his eyes.

"Where are we?"

"We've arrived at the hospital. Because the case is being handled by the police, so your father was brought here." Giani seemed to have difficulty swallowing his saliva while staring at the hospital entrance.

"Where's Jarret and Jack?"

"We are here, Mom," the two replied in unison behind Giani. Giani immediately faced back

"Mommy's going inside. You guys wait here."

"Can't we go see Grandpa?"

Giani smiled faintly, although from the look of his eyes he was not okay, but in front of his son do not let him look pitiful.

"Mommy hasn't confirmed grandfather's condition. Mommy's afraid you'll be traumatized when you see Grandpa's condition."

"Well, we'll be here with Elena's aunty" Jack said. Before long the boy looked at Ben and said, "Daddy please accompany mommy inside. I'm afraid mommy fainted again."

"Alright, Daddy promised to keep your mommy inside" Ben replied.

Although actually feeling objection, but Giani can not reject Ben in front of his two children. Finally, Giani entered the hospital accompanied by Ben.

"Sorry to trouble you, sir."

"Oh, come. You call me Ben."

Giani did not reply anymore, he asked the information section to ask the whereabouts of the morgue. After getting a clue, Giani half ran to find the room where his father was.

When he arrived in front of the morgue, there were 2 police officers on guard. "I'm sorry, I'm Giani Professor Gilbert's daughter, the middle-aged man who died last night."

"Oh, you're his daughter. Come on, come with me?" Giani and Ben entered the morgue. Giani's hand was cold. His head feels spinning again. His stomach is also nauseous. But Ben suddenly grabbed his shoulder. Giani looked up because his height was only limited to the man's chest.

"You must be strong. Don't let you pass out again. I don't want our kids to be sad to see you."

Giani nodded, As the officer pulled the body of his father. Giani felt like his heart was hit so many times that his beat was irregular. Giani's steps seemed so heavy. However, again Ben seemed to give strength to him. Giani the toucher of the corpse's covering cloth. The smell of roast meat is smelled. Giani's hand trembled when he was about to open the cloth.

As the cloth slowly unfolded, At that time Giani's tears just shed. "Papa. I've taken care of my move and your grandchildren. Didn't I promise to accompany you? Why are you leaving this way?" Giani immediately knelt down he could not help but hold himself back, Why is the fate of his father so tragic? Giani felt very guilty towards his father. Had he stayed longer in Melbourne, maybe his father wouldn't have died. Giani hit his chest which began to feel tight. Ben crouched down and held Giani's hand.

"Stop hurting yourself." Ben pulled Giani's head and leaned Giani's head in his arms.
