Chapter 24. Notifies

Last night Ben managed to restore the system in his company. Thanks to his son, the IT team has to work overtime to recover all the data that Ben managed to scramble. Even Ben got an email from No Name.

How sad to have a daddy loser like you. I hope my mommy will meet a kind man who will accept mommy and us as we are.

Although only slept for 2 hours, now Ben has returned fresh. He was forced to take a shower in his company office because soon he will leave for SoS.

"Ramos, when you get there, you call professor Gilbert. I want to talk to him."

Ben knocked on Professor Gilbert's door. The adorable faces of Jarret and Jackson instantly turned flat. They threw away their faces as Ben looked at their faces.

"Can I talk to you."

"Of course, sir. I also have something I want to ask you."

"We're going to my room. Bring your grandchildren too."

Gilbert nodded, she turned her head towards her grandson, both of whom had flat and calm faces. Gilbert frowned in wonder, he was not an expert in expression, but seeing how calm his two grandchildren were, making Gilbert think that they did not realize that Ben was their father.

"Come, we'll follow Mr. Ben."

They were told as the two were being held by Gilbert towards the room on the top floor of the building.

"I want to talk about them."

"They? my granddaughter? do you know them?" Gilbert looked at Ben sharply.

"Yes, I want to talk about them. They are my children."

"You must be kidding. They were my grandchildren, Giani's children," Gilbert said, but he wanted to ask Ben about it, but it was fortunate that Ben opened up to tell stories.

"i'm serious. Do you remember the serum I used to ask you to examine. It was the serum that made me accidentally stain Giani and make Giani pregnant."

"Well, daddy did it all to protect your mommy and yours. Daddy's enemies are many. Daddy's worried they're gonna hurt you.

But it does not mean daddy never knows about your development. Even daddy helped your mommy give birth to you. If you don't believe you can ask your mommy."

"One minute's up."

Jarret and his brother stood up. "Grandpa let's go home."

"Aren't you going to forgive daddy?" Ben looks disappointed with the twins' response.

"We'll accept daddy, if mommy's willing to forgive daddy."

Gilbert doesn't know what to say anymore? What Ben did was right, but letting Giani until now had no idea who the biological father of his two children was, was outrageous.

"I promise I'll see Giani as soon as possible and explain all this, but you need to know, I didn't take my hands off. "I don't think what they say is true, if you were honest in the first place, it might not seem like this disappointing."
