Chapter 60. We Love You's
Giani invited his two sons to come in. Fortunately, he also did not observe the twins' wrists which still looked red because they were tied too tight.
Ben could breathe a sigh of relief seeing his wife's smile re-expand.
"Do you want to shower yourself or let mommy help you?"
"Mom, we're big. We can take a shower ourselves" replied Jarret.
"Well if so. Take a shower, and then we'll have dinner."
Giani and Ben enter their room, while Jack and Jarret enter the room.
"What about your head? Do you still get dizzy often?"
"No. It's been so much better, Ben."
Ben stopped his steps he stared at Giani intensely.
"When are you gonna call me with a more friendly call, Sweetie?"
"I'm ashamed, Ben."
"Why? I'm your husband, dear Giani. You can call me honey or honey. How's it?"
"Ehm .. I'll try, but don't expect more."
"Ok, okay. Now I want to take a shower. Would you like to accompany me, Sweetie?"
"A_I've taken a shower, Sa_yang. I'm sorry I couldn't keep you company." Giani stammered because he was not used to sweet words.
Ben laughs. "Don't be groggy like that, Sweetie. I'm not gonna bite you."
The man immediately kissed his wife's lips and went into the bathroom. Giani was glued to his place. He gently rubbed his lips and before long his smile fell on his lips.
"I must be crazy." Giani muttered softly and smiled back. He was like a teenager in love.
Giani finally decided to walk in the closet and choose clothes for her husband.
"Sister, is it okay we lied to mommy?"
"Sstt .. keep your voice down, Jack!" reprimand Jarret. "Although I know, lying is not good, but this time we do need to lie so that mommy does not get sicker."
Jack just nodded. Giani who had almost pushed the door to Jack and Jarret's room was now even glued in place.
"So they lied? Where did they go?" inner Giani. He eventually broke into his son's second room.
Giani sat in the dining room chair. He seemed to be stuck with a blank look. What his children are hiding.
A hand grabbed Giani's body and hugged him from behind. The masculine aroma that smelled made Giani turn his head.
"Why are you daydreaming here?"
"Where did you pick up Jack and Jarret, honey?"
"Of course at his friend's house. Didn't they just tell you that they went to Joel's house?"
"They lied to me" Giani said in a trembling voice. Ben tightened his embrace.
"Maybe they have a reason."
"They never lied to me before. Today they lied to me. It doesn't rule out tomorrow they'll repeat it again."
"Hey, you have to put your trust in them, Sweetie." Ben pecks Giani's head. He also felt guilty for his wife, but this was the best for now.
Giani just fell silent without even hearing Ben's words. His chest felt tight and sick because he was lied to by his children.
"Mom, Dad what are you doing?" Jack appears behind Ben's body.
"Daddy hugged mommy. Do you want to hug mommy?" Jack nodded and immediately hugged his parents from the side. And so did Jarret.
"We love you, Mom."
