Chapter 8. The Heart of Prof Gilbert

Gilbert could only shut up and resigned when he saw Giani decided to use his car. After Giani's departure, Gilbert left for the Sword of Science lab. However, during his time in his room, Gilbert daydreamed a lot and did not focus on work. As a result Ben had to call the middle-aged man.

"What else is wrong with you? You know, this report is the worst report you've ever made, Professor."

"Did your daughter leave?"

"I have a task for you. Find Giani in Sidney. I want you to be his bodyguard, protect him from anything and I want you to report to me every day as you normally would."

Ben turned off his phone. There was no long sound of commotion from outside. He's clucking pissed. What else now? before long appeared a middle-aged woman with a still fashionable and elegant appearance. Shena, Benjamin's mother.

"What's wrong? why make a scene at my place?"

"Your men are a bitch. They barred me and Aluna from coming in, Ben."

"I told them to forbid anyone from coming here. I'm lazy to meet anyone."

"Ben, I know that I've done you a lot wrong, but can't you not hate Aluna too? I promised her parents I'd look after Aluna and marry Aluna to you."

Shena was silent as well as Aluna. The girl who several years ago was adopted by her mother now does not dare to look at Ben's face.
