Chapter 34. Marry Daddy!

That morning Jarret woke up to a nightmare. She dreams of her mother being caught by a bad guy and kept away from her and Jack. He glanced at Jack who was still fast asleep.

Jarret got out of his bed and intended to go to his mother. However, when he arrived near his mother's room, Jarret saw his mother come out of the room in a suspicious motion. As Jarret finds out his mother is heading to the car garage, Jarret keeps observing his mother from a safe distance.

Giani started the car, but then he came back out to tell the guards he was leaving and had Ben's permission. It was used by Jarret to infiltrate the car and hide behind the steering wheel. He bowed so that his mother would not realize his existence.

As the car started to run, Jarret breathed a sigh of relief because his mother was unaware of his whereabouts. In his heart the boy wondered where his mother would go so early in the morning.

Long enough to travel almost half an hour, finally Giani's car arrived in front of his home court. For a long time he kept silent and looked at his former home. Her tears came back. Giani got out of the car. With a trembling body, he approached the building of his house which was almost 70% engulfed in the red whiz.

Slowly Giani stepped in. He could no longer hold back the tightness in his chest until his body slumped to the floor Giani cried there. Jarret who had just got out of the car looked at the scene with a sliced heart. Without delaying the time he walked over and hugged his mother.

"Hey, why are you here, honey?" Giani looked surprised to find his first son there.

"Mommy don't go alone. I'm afraid there's a bad guy who's gonna hurt mommy."

"Mommy's okay, baby, but thanks for worrying about mommy." Giani rubbed Jarret's head gently. He also wiped the rest of his tears. She did not want to look weak in front of her child. Giani also asked why his first son could be there? and apparently Jarret infiltrated his car. Why can't he realize it?

"Why didn't mommy come here to take us?"

"Mommy doesn't want you to see this. Mommy wants you guys to just have a good memory of grandpa's house."

"Mom, don't be sad alone. Mommy is not alone. There's us, there's daddy too. Why won't mommy share it with us?"

"I'm sorry mommy, Jarret. Sorry." Giani hugged his son. At the same time Ben came with Jack.

Giani only returned Ben's sincere words with a smile. They finally left Giani's house. Ben has ordered his men to follow the trail left by those who have harmed Professor Gilbert.

Ben was driving his own car without a driver, when Jack was looking for his brother and mother. The four of them got into the car. Jarret and Jackson chose to sit in the back, while Giani was finally forced to sit in the front due to the coercion of his two children. During the trip, they just kept quiet. Giani finally opened the bottle of mineral water on the dashboard and handed it to Ben.

"Thank you." After sipping a little mineral water, Ben again pushed the bottle to Giani.

Jarret and Jackson smiled at that. The two decide to reconcile with their father. Because they know, there are people who are threatening the safety of his mother at this time. Jack and Jarret want their mother to be under her father's protection.

"Where are we going?"

"I have to attend a meeting for a while. You and the kids will go to my room. Your change of clothes has been prepared by Elena. Later after I finish the meeting, we take them to enroll in school."
