S2. Where Did It Come From?

After lunch, Jared went into his room. Diana also escorted Felly to her room, before she finally met Giani.

"Aunty, what's my job?" ask Diana. Now he and Giani are in a library.

Diana was amazed at the content of the huge Mansion. He might not even have a quarter of a section surrounding the mansion because the mansion had a total of 3 floors. That's what Diana knew.

"Sit down, Di."

Diana sat down on the single sofa. His eyes swept across the entire bookshelf that was in that place. Diana estimated that the number of books there could reach tens of thousands.

"Your job is easy, honey. You just accompanied me here enough. I need a friend. Sometimes I get tired of reading and wanting to talk, but my kids don't have time."

"Ta_but aunty, my salary is huge. Is that worth it?"

"You don't have to think it's worth it or not. Just sit down and accompany me. Later when I'm not here. You can do anything. You can rest, you can accompany Felly. Whatever."

Diana really did not know, she had to be grateful or even pity the beautiful middle-aged woman. This kind woman has to pay people because she feels lonely.

"Now, you can take any book and read it here with me" Giani continued. Diana could only obey Giani's orders.

Jared called Giani, "Mom."

"What's mommy doing here?"

"Didn't you have any other weighty questions, Jared? Mommy's in the library right now, and you're asking what mommy's doing?"

"Ehm, I mean why does she have to be here?" I don't know why Jared still feels suspicious of Diana. The presence of the girl slightly disturbed Jared's curiosity, because her mommy rarely brought strangers into the mansion. Or it could be said that almost never.
