S2. Diana's Story

"Why just shut up? Didn't you hear Mommy's question to you?"

"JARED!! Don't talk to her too hard. You better work or do something else. You're bothering mommy" Giani said annoyedly

"Mom .... "

"I'm from Brisbane. I traveled 1047 miles with Felly because my family had all been slaughtered. I'm afraid those people will be looking for me and Felly. I want to work with aunty because I don't think I'm going to meet a lot of people. Honestly I'm still traumatized" Diana said in a trembling voice.

Giani hugged Diana again to calm the girl down. Giani looked at his son and shook his head, gesturing for Jared not to ask that bad thing again.

"They're looking for me and Felly's also aunty. I'm afraid they're gonna kill us." Diana sobbing. Jared unconsciously bit her lower lip, because she felt guilty for making Diana forced to remember the dark events in her life.

Giani wiped away the tears that kept flowing from the corner of Diana's eyes.

"Calm down, everything's gonna be fine. You'll be safe here."
