The End of the Waiting

The End of the Waiting
Jealous

“Which original way?” tanya Fatimah tried to melt the atmosphere.

“Surabaya.”

“I am original from Kediri.”

Amara only nodded as Fatimah tried to get her to talk a lot.

“I've been here three years. Maybe a little uncomfortable at first, but later there will be time you can adjust.”

Amara nodded again without wanting to chimed in.

“I am also still learning to interpret life. Neither I nor the people here are truly holy without sin. We are all still learning, often there is wrong and khilaf either from words or deeds.”

“Ning Fatimah alone can still be humble, what am I who is only a sinful man.”

Fatimah nodded in disapproval of Amara's statement. “Everyone makes a mistake, but God is forgiving if His servant truly begs for forgiveness. Better to realize it and do repentance than nothing.”

“But everything is still free because the past that happened will not be deleted or time can not be played again.”

“The past cannot be changed, right. But from the past people will learn to understand many things. One of them is you who finally realize that the enjoyment of the world is not just about pleasure and lust.” Fatimah learned not to put too much pressure on Amara to choose the same view with her. He wants to be a conversation partner, a discussion and a confidement. Not a teacher who would teach him.

They arrived at the mosque and sat in a row of women listening to the afternoon study.

Amara lowered her head, pervading every meaningful verse of the lecture she heard. A speck of clear liquid fell from the corner of his eye.

“As a human being, mengikhlaskan something is indeed in general not easy to do. Just like the nature of patience which at a certain time also reaches its limit. However, putting forward a sincere attitude is a good deed, which is sincere without limits is something that is loved by Allah SWT. By putting forward his own sincere nature can make us become calmer, more relieved, and unpretentious.”

Amara returned her wet cheeks. Fatimah only occasionally glanced without any intention of calming down.

“Ikhlas is also referred to as a secret between God and his servant, not even an angel knows and records it, no shetan knows and corrupts it, there is also no lust that knows and leans to other bad things.”

The lecture ended as time approached magrib. After the prayer, they all disperse and return to their respective routine activities.

“Mara want to learn njai at home Umi Rahma or in pendopo?” ask Fatimah.

“Di pendopo only.”

Fatimah nodded and led Amara to the princess-only pendopo. Sometimes the woman again tries to get closer by asking general things. However, Amara just shook her head or nodded.

“Mara,” call Fatimah slowly make her turn her head. “Do not wish anything to man, exceeding to Allah.”
