The End of the Waiting

The End of the Waiting
Early Semester

“Mother is proud you got through this, Mara. Forgive us for leaving you. Father or mother there is no such intention, we just want you to learn to be better.”

“Iya, Mom. I see,” Amara replied with a smile, touching the hand of the woman who had given birth to her. “Thank you and sorry if until this big Mara still likes to be troublesome,” he continued with teary eyes.

“It's already our duty and responsibility as parents, Mara.”

Amara hugged her mother while crying softly. Crying mistakes and mistakes to make both parents difficult.

“I'm sorry, Bu.”

Raisa's soft hand rubbed her son's back. “Sometimes you'll know what it's like to be a parent. The bigger a child, the greater the worry. Especially for girls.”

After the magrib they gathered at the dining table. Adnan seemed to smile happily mixed up when he saw the change of his daughter. She hugged Amara longing, smirking the top of her head proudly.

“Daddy misses you, Mara.”

“I too. Missed so much, so much,” said Amara with a big smile.

Amara's attitude looks so spoiled when with her father, very different when together with her mother.

After dinner Amara and her parents spent time together. Discussed many things that passed with joy. Sometimes there is laughter that breaks the mood.

At about eleven o'clock in the evening, they all ended the conversation and returned to their rooms.

“This is going to be thrown away, Ma'am?” tanya Nur, one of the household assistants who was a little younger than Sumiyati.

“Iya. Everything is still good, if aunty wants to take for the child at home is also okay. Still worth it, nothing is broken,” replied Amara.

There were almost two boxes full of items that had been emptied from his room. All of that stuff given by her ex-husband.

Amara deliberately put away all of that to throw away their memories. Before the end the man really no longer meant anything in his life.

After getting ready with neat clothes and thin makeup on the face, Amara left the house. He intends to meet with his friends, connect the communication that had been cut off.

The car that was driven entered the parking lot of a famous shopping center, Tunjungan Plaza.

Amara heads to the sixth floor with Starbucks on her way. When his foot entered the door, he saw the wave of his friend's hand.

Amara approached, not forgetting to say hello before hugging her three friends.

“Masya Allah, Mara .. the more beautiful the day.” Early hugging and pinching Amara's cheeks slowly.

“Sick tofu!” omel Amara slowly.

“Alhamdulilah, we are all happy to hear that you are doing well. May God immediately replace your sadness with happiness,” said Ayu with a distinctive smile that is so graceful.

“Aamiin. Thank you so much for always supporting me in any circumstances.”

“You until when to stay?” ask Nisa.

“Free three days,” replied Amara.

When the three asked about what activities were done there, Amara answered and told everything.

They seemed so excited to hear the story. Since the beginning the three of them have indeed been hijab, when friends first Amara was inferior and felt different because of her appearance that was always open.

They have known for a long time while still sitting on the bench of Junior High, until now. Perhaps Amara should be grateful for having a truly loyal and sincere friend regardless of anything.

“Your son is not invited, Din?” ask Amara who remembers if one of her friends already has children.

“Sama sisters. Not allowed mama-in-law to be taken out,” he replied while chuckling.

Suddenly the three friends seemed silent by staring at the door. Every now and then they looked at each other without saying anything, Amara who happened to turn her back on the door looked astonished. When he wanted to look around, Ayu again asked him to speak.

And so on until Amara could not stand it and looked quickly. Look at the scene in front of him.

Amara could see the shock on that face.

Their eyes meet.
