The End of the Waiting

The End of the Waiting
Rest

Akram expressed his intention to his parents that he intended to propose to Amara Khaira Shaza, daughter of property entrepreneurs Adnan Hamish and Raisa Andriana.

He also told me that they had met before. Since the first meeting, Akram has started to feel the seeds of love that began to grow in his heart.

“So in the place of Ustadz Yusuf is not the first meeting?” ahmad Arsalan asked as he looked at his lowered son.

“Not, Papa. I've met him twice. In the third meeting I wanted to set the intention to propose to him, but Umi Rahma said she was still learning to improve. So I leave everything to the Creator, hoping that indeed we are destined to mate.” Akram answered firmly. “All of our meetings are not coincidental, but God seems to show the way of a soul mate for us.”

“Do it if you think she's a decent woman, son. Mama will support anything for your happiness,” said Nufa with a big smile. After many years of waiting, finally the happy news was heard from the mouth of his own son.

“What makes you choose her over the women we have chosen, Akram?”

I looked at the father's face. His lips curled up to form a smile so beautiful. He replied confidently, “About heart who knows, Papa. Love is a secret known only to the owner of the heart and the owner of life. There is nothing wrong with your choice, but the heart cannot be forced. That taste doesn't exist yet.”

“Does she already qualify as a future wife?” ask Ahmad Arsalan again.

Akram nodded with confidence. “Already, Papa. Her parasites are beautiful, she is of good descent, the treasures she also has, her religion is also good, God willing.”

Ahmad Arsalan smiled and nodded. He would not question his son's decision anymore. The man is mature enough to determine the prospective wife who will accompany.

“She's so pretty, huh?” lure Ahmad Arsalan with a special smile.

“Iya. Very beautiful, her nose is sharp with pliable eyelashes and ripe lips. The skin is as white as cotton and as soft as silk, ” Akram replied involuntarily.

Azizah coughed lightly at the confession of her son who had praised and admired the look of an adult woman.

“Astaghfirullah,” said Akram while looking down embarrassed, hiding that he had exceeded the limit.

“It looks like your son has slipped looking at the beauty of his creation and admiring a figure that has not been halal for him.” Ahmad Arsalan took a deep breath and threw it away slowly. His head shook slowly, young man today, he thought.

From the eyes down to the heart, it was probably a proverb that was often used. Love is pure, but sometimes it is scorned by people who do things outside the limits and use love as an excuse.

Akram looked at a woman, but if in that gaze it contained many meanings and wanted more, the fall was already a sin.

“We must apply for the girl immediately.” Azizah looked at Akram who was nodding happily.

Akram was embarrassed. He was nervous when the father had issued a satire that was packed neatly accompanied by advice.

“If people who do not understand, will definitely call that sentence sentiment to women. Though the Prophet SAW wanted to show, that the seductive power of the woman exceeded the devil, from the front flirting from behind was tempting. Therefore shariah really requires us Muslims should close the aurat,” said Azizah added.

Akram lowered and blushed.

“Papa don't want to teach you what is right and wrong. You are an adult and can clearly sort out. After marriage, keep the view of something that you should not see and keep the heart to always remember with God, so that your heart is always awake from things that can hurt other hearts.”

Akram nodded solemnly. After the conversation, they returned to their rooms to rest.

“Yes Rabb, I trust everything only to You. If indeed we are a match, then close and spread all our affairs in half undergoing the longest worship that You have determined,” Amara said while cupping his hands and praying. From his eyes flowed a clear liquid that passed through his cheeks just like that.

“Yes Rabb, if he is the best for me. I hope he is a gentleman. Serving both his parents and his religion. Always weep for Your sake and guard himself with prayer only on You.” Along with the prayer, her sobs sounded.

“O God, I ask for guidance of Your goodness with Your knowledge, I ask for Your decision with Your judgment and I ask with Your great gift, Thy great gift, for thou art in power, and I am not in power. Thou art the All-Knowing, and I know not, and Thou art the All-Knowing Akram gives a pause in his sentence, looking down deeper and more with full supplication only to the Life Giver.

“Oh Allah, if You know that she is a good woman for me in my religion, my life, and the end of my work, then predestine her for me, ease our journey, and bless me for her. But if in Your knowledge what has been planned will be disastrous for me and for my religion, bringing about consequences in my life whether present or future, keep him away from me and keep me away from him. May You predestine me to the good, for You are Powerful over all things.”

On a different prayer mat, in the same direction, under the same sky they inhabited, both begged, and pleaded, commit to humbling and humbling yourself to ask for clues of what will happen in life.

Pray the same prayer, hoping that fate will kindly hear the prayers and grant one.

For indeed man can plan many things, but all remain with the consent of the Creator who has arranged all things.
