“However,” the nagging Umi Rahma surprised Amara who was reading a book.
“Umi,” said Amara while stalling a shy smile. He shifted his seat to make room for the middle-aged woman to sit down.
“What's bothering you, Mara?” ask Umi Rahma
“Nothing, Umi.” His head shook slowly, his hand playing the pen he was holding, as if showing the uneasiness he felt.
“Tell me what's bothering you. Umi could help. You already consider as your own child,” said Umi Rahma gently and looked sincerity from the look of her eyes.
Amara looked over and smiled. He already considered Umi Rahma and Ustadz Yusuf more than a teacher, as second parents who had taught him many things about the meaning of life.
During his time here both Umi Rahma or Ustadz Yusuf and other residents never considered one eye. Everyone is the same in God's eyes. The bad thing is that a person is not the right of man to judge.
“I miss the outside, Umi .. means not because I'm not at home, I'm comfortable here, but I miss working and coming back to my life.” The look on Amara's face showed concern. Afraid of his words to offend or hurt Umi Rahma who was too kind to him.
During his stay here, Umi Rahma never scolded him, judged his mistakes or rebuked him like a teacher to students.
Never once did that happen.
“Umi understand what you mean, Mara. You want to go back to Surabaya and move on. That's right, isn't it? For Umi no problem, you already understand what is good and not good. You have learned many things here,” said Umi Rahma with a smile, like a nervous understanding that felt.
“Umi's okay?” ask Amara doubtfully.
“Life is a choice, you can choose anything for survival. Never forget God. Involve and plant his name in your heart, God willing you will not go wrong.”
Amara nodded. “Thank you very much, Umi. I love umi,” he said with a clear liquid spill that slid past his cheek.
Time is slow for those who wait. For Amara, however, time passed very quickly.
As he remembered he had only come to this place yesterday, but it turned out that a year had already passed without feeling.
Life teaches many things. One of them remains grateful no matter what happens, because the pleasure of the world is not only because of pleasure.

“Mbak Mara won't be back here again, will ya?” ask Aisha with her hoarse voice.
Amara smiled gently and rubbed the girl's shoulder. “God willing I will come and visit you. May I be given a long life so that I can come again,” he said seriously.
Now Amara moved towards Fatimah, hugging her gently and rubbing her back slowly.
“Thank you Ning Fatimah for guiding me here. May God grant his prayers and hopes to be with the godly man he desires.”
“Aamiin. May you also be met with a godly soul mate who can bring you in kindness, Mara.”
Amara turned to her other friends. Say an apology and thank you for every day that you have spent together.
After saying goodbye to them, he returned home and hugged Umi Rahma with a slow sobbing. It was hard for him to part with good people like them.
“Umi Rahma, Ustadz Yusuf, thank you for accepting me with open arms. May God give you a long life so that we can meet again at a later date.”
Umi Rahma nodded. “Don't forget what you've learned here. Remember, Allah is always with His servant.”
A year has passed quickly. Unknowingly, many changes that occur in women who were once free, are now able to Istiqomah with clothes that hide the beauty of the body.
The big change really happened to Amara, she who initially felt free is now turned into a woman who always keeps her eyes, keeps her mouth and always prejudices others.
Time can make someone change.
Amara, who had never known God, was now closer to Him.
