The End of the Waiting

The End of the Waiting
BERS (Nadira)

“Pak, Pak Galih's secretary contacted to request a meeting be filed later in the afternoon.”

Akram immediately stopped his steps. “Can't. My wife is sick, I will come home after this.”

“But Pak—”

“Apply this afternoon too, if you can not then according to the initial agreement only,” cut Akram without wanting to hear any explanation.

After making sure Amara's condition was fine, Akram decided to go to the office because he had a meeting that morning with several important investors.

“Good, Sir.”

I entered the room and called home. Ask the condition of the wife who was still sleeping until now.

“Don't forget to wake up later for lunch and give the vitamins that are on the table, Ms. Meri.”

“Good, Sir.”

“Might I come home after lunch, later if Mara asks just say I have an impromptu meeting.”

“Good, Sir.”

“Oh, yes later tonight please prepare dinner with mama and papa's favorite menu. Later tonight they will come.”

“Ready, Sir.”

Akram disconnects the call and rests his body on the chair while continuing to think about his wife's state.

The door of his room was knocked followed by the Judge who said that the party of his client agreed to meet this afternoon.

...♡♡♡...

Akram frowned in surprise as the waiter led them to the VIP room, but inside there were only two completely unknown women.

Akram turned to his assistant who immediately asked, “We want to meet Mr. Galih.”

“Please. I am the secretary of Bu Claudia who happens to be the daughter of Mr. Galih,” obviously the woman politely.

Akram and the assistant walked into the room and sat opposite two women who introduced themselves.

“Why did Pak Galih send you? Shouldn't I have to talk directly with him because it needs the desired details.”

“Sorry but papa is having business this afternoon and asked me to see you alone. You don't have to worry because it's my own project, not my own. He only recommends because he has used the services of your company.”

“I was a little surprised because Mr. Galih did not say anything before.”

The woman seemed to nod thinly. Then start explaining what you want.

Akram listened and occasionally nodded in response while the Judge noted the wishes of his client.

After explaining at length, finally their food order came and made the discussion stalled for a while.

“Quickly my secretary will call back,” said Akram open voice.

The woman named Claudia nodded. “Let's if any design is lacking, can it be revised?”

“Can, Mom. We will meet with the director of planning and implementation first and will send the details to you. The field will also survey to the location to see the condition,”, said the Judge who continued to answer. Like understanding the condition of the boss who is a little less focused.

They had lunch quietly. Occasionally Claudia looked towards Akram who looked so calm and did not say much. Precisely the one who had been talking only his assistant, slightly irritated him.

“You're married, Sir?”

“Not yet, Ms. Claudia. Do you want to be my future wife?” the Judge answered making Akram almost spout a stifled laugh.

Claudia looked at the annoyed assistant who to her seemed brash at always answering anything that was not actually shown to her.

“I asked with Mr. Akram, not you,” sis Claudia.

The Judge's lips rounded and kept an annoying smile on his face. “You didn't designate one name, so it wasn't me who was wrong.”

The woman's hand was clutching the spoon tightly as if holding back emotions.

“Pak Akram is married, already has a beautiful wife, kind and salihah.” The judge answered. “That's lucky to get the real bidadari dunya.” Praising his superior wife with a little glance at the appearance of the client who is open top bottom.

“Not polite,” hiss Claudia upset and chose to quietly enjoy the food that now feels bland.

Akram looked at the assistant and shook his head, asking him to be quiet and not respond so as not to drag on.

In his heart Akram wondered, since when his assistant was switching professions so lambe nyinyir.

What a newly discovered hidden talent.
