The End of the Waiting

The End of the Waiting
Rare moment

“Ning Fatimah is not as sultry to wear that much clothes in summer like this?” asked Amara when she found out that the woman was wearing a long interior limited to the eyes, plus socks that cover her feet, not to mention the interior and hijab syar’i used.

Amara had been veiled, but all she knew was that she had to close the aurat.

“Mara, this is the actual clothing recommended in the teachings of Islam, namely the wide clothing’i and does not show body shape. In the Qur’an there is a verse whose contents are commanded that the veil and hijab are true like this. It is in Surah An-Nur verse 31 and Surah Al-Ahzab verse 59.”

Surah An-Nur verse 31 says: And tell the believing women, that they may keep their eyes, and keep their nun@nuannya, and not to show their adornment (orah), except that which (ordinary) is seen.

Surat al-Ahzab verse 59 says: Allah commanded the Prophet Muhammad to call upon the wives, daughters, and wives of believers to cover their whole bodies with a veil.

“According to the Ministry of Religion (Religious Ministry), clothes are much better than the outer clothing that is takwa clothing. These clothes are spiritual in nature that can gather all the goodness. As the Prophet SAW said in the History of Abu Ya’la from Abu Sa’id: ‘You must fear Allah, for indeed it does not gather all the goodness of’. According to Surah Al-A’raf verse 26, the best clothing in the eyes of Allah SWT is Takwa clothing. As He says here: ‘O son of Adam's grandson! We have prepared clothes to cover your law and for your jewelry, but the clothing of fear is better. Thus are some signs of Allah's dominion, may they remember’. It is our duty as Muslims to close the aurat and not to overdo it in dressing.”

Fatimah explained it at length with a distinctive smile that made the dimples on both her cheeks visible.

“Means my clothes are not right?” amara looked at herself.

“Everything goes through the process and nothing is instant, Mara. The more days you will definitely understand without having to feel prosecuted or forced.”

No one can judge or reproach another who has not been veiled. Man is his duty to remind, not to be the committee of heaven that will determine one's afterlife.

A good man will not judge the faults of others and justify himself.

This morning the sun was bright. Amara had already begun to adjust during her one month stay there.

The activity starts from four in the morning until ten after studying with ustadz and ustadzah who are there. Then he will help the sisters of the orphanage shortly before the time of the Zuhr.

After prayers and lunch he will rest for a while before the afternoon back to study with Fatimah. After prayers he will study with Umi Rahma until nine pm.

This is the routine that is done every day. It was difficult at first, but he never complained.

Slowly Amara began to reopen herself and began to smile a lot. Although his attitude is still often closed, but enough to bring a big change in him.

“Nak Mara is staying here?” asked Ustadz Yusuf when he met him.

“Alhamdulilah, hopefully the better ahead.”

“Aamiin.”

After Isya, Amara sat together with Umi Rahma in the living room with a comfortable fur carpet pad.

They will learn about the sciences of life, marriage and more. Umi Rahma is someone who has a motherly attitude, nurturing and always inferior.

“Still sick?” asked Umi Rahma who saw Amara's face intensely.

“That feeling is still there, that's what makes me sick.”

“You till when, son? Life goes on, sadness and happiness come. Don't wail too much into something useless, it will just waste your energy and mind.”

“He won't disappear from my head, Umi. I always tell myself that everything will be fine as time goes by, but why is it so hard. Even time has erased this distance and relationship, but why can't time erase this feeling?” Amara pointed at her chest that was throbbing pain.

“The most dangerous disease is the mind, from there the liver disease appears. Try to distract yourself by doing useful things.”

Amara lowered her head and sobbed slowly.

“He's a married man, he's also not a halal man for you to think about anymore.”

“I have to what, Umi?”

“Love is coming because of God. He is the one who turns over the hearts of men, so ask Him to erase the feelings you have. Love man accordingly, do not love his creation more than your love for the Creator.”

Amara nodded. “Hopefully I can do it, Umi.”

“The highest level of loving is sincerely letting go. Accept what happened without asking and blaming anyone. For you are sure that all that has happened is the will of God.”
