After three days passed, Amara returned to Lamongan City alone with his favorite red car, which was purchased using his savings. Maybe that's what makes Amara proud of the car.
Not to forget many souvenirs also filled his car. He deliberately bought a lot because he knew there were not only Aisha, Fatimah and Umi Rahma, but many other residents who might be partially unknown to him.
Amara parked her car next to Ustadz Yusuf's private car. He asked some of the students who happened to pass by to help him bring the cardboard home.
“Thank you for helping, yes,” Amara said with a charming smile.
“Sama-sama, Ms. Mara. We'll take a break, yeah. Assalamu’alaikum.”
After Amara answered the greetings, the three sisters left. Amara said hello before entering the house. Umi Rahma came from the second floor and welcoming her arrival, they hugged for a moment.
“Umi thought Mara didn't come back here,” Umi Rahma said in a joking tone.
“Where might I go without saying goodbye, Umi. For me here is like a second home, I still feel at home living here. Umi don't mind, do you?”
The middle-aged woman shook her head slowly. “Umi is very happy. Mara can stay here whenever you want.”
Amara pointed towards the five large cardboard boxes being carried. He said to share it, souvenirs that are far away brought from Surabaya.
Umi Rahma looked uneasy, but Amara assured that there was little she could carry. Maybe next time he'll bring more.
The middle-aged woman looked at him intensely until Amara became misbehaved. As bad as she was in the past, Amara is indeed a royal figure, to her brother or friend.
“I happen to want to ask you something with umi. It's a personal matter anyway.” Amara smiled revealing a row of white teeth. “When I came home yesterday, I met my friend. He wanted to propose to my parents, but I told him the truth that I didn't want to be in a relationship or think about marriage. Did I hurt her, Umi?”
“Maybe he will be a little disappointed with your answer. But you're right to say honesty even though it's a little stifling. Because in marriage not only need love and love, but also need a commitment to face a great marriage that will not always be okay.”
Amara nodded. “But I was a little touched by his calm and gentle demeanor by wanting to ask me directly to my parents.”
“Islam never teaches about dating. Because in reality two people of different types can not avoid both. Then there will be a look and touch touch touch touch touch. These actions are clearly all illegal according to the law syari’at. Allah SWT says in the Qur’an Surah An-Nur verse 31 which means: Say to a believing woman, let them withhold her views, and keep **************.”
“Isn't ta’aruf dating the islamic version, Umi?”
“That's the same thing, Umi. A process of getting to know each other. What's the difference with dating?” Amara still doesn't understand.
“In the process of ta’aruf, there are restrictions and ethics such as forbidden to look or touch, prohibited alone with the opposite sex that is not mahram. This is prohibited because it can cause things that are illegal according to the religion of Islam. So if men and women meet there should be a third party accompanying. That's also their language is not sulking on the word seduction, but an introduction to discuss the purpose of marriage and determine what the future will be like after marriage.”
Amara listened seriously to the long explanation given by Umi Rahma. He is indeed poor in science, but science can be learned if there are intentions and desires.
“In a hadith the Prophet reminded : Do not let you two-tow with a woman (who is not her mahram), because the devil is her third person.”
Amara nodded her head. Already often he heard the jokes of the people around him not to be alone with the opposite sex, because the third can be a demon.
Islam never denies love. Because in Islam love is a natural and pure gift from God that exists in humans. However, that does not mean love can justify everything without the bond of marriage.
“That is why men and women are ordered to subdue the views of the opposite sex, intended to keep the view from being directed without control with orgasm, so as to trigger the culprit, so as to, male or female to think and act immoral.”
“Shortly, Umi.” Amara seemed to have a question stuck in her mind. “I mean subjugating the view just to avoid orgasm, right? Not maybe everyone will be passionate when staring at the opposite sex,” said Amara a little frontal.
Umi Rahma chuckled softly. To him Amara's question was not at all wrong, only it might have to be further refined. “Awakened view is when looking at the opposite sex, do not observe intensely his beauty and not long look at him, and do not focus on something he saw it.”
Amara was silent, digesting the word Umi Rahma carefully so as not to misinterpret.
“Uncomprehended? If you don't understand, just ask. Umi will reply.”
Amara shook her head slowly. His brain was still not in sync with the logic and reality he often saw.
According to him, the order to keep that view is almost impossible. Because, many people are more interested in physical appearance than the contents of the heart or mind.
“I still don't understand, Umi. There are a lot of things I will ask you later, it's an interesting discussion. But I'm permission to go to the room first, want to shower and pray.”
After getting permission, Amara immediately went up to her room.
