HOLD THAT!

Chapter 15 - 15. HOLD THAT!

Lastly is the feasibility of using such a process because the specimen can only wait for its dantian to form and then use orthodox nutritional methods instead of risking its life. It was said that Mad Doctor, the creator of this method, had his dantian severely damaged but did not give up on cultivating and that was why he discovered this method."

Noah continued to explain as he followed William down the cobbled aisle, His master would only nod whenever he finished a sentence.

A sound came from behind them as the light source was cut off, it was a wall that closed back by itself.

Only then did Noah notice some small lights at the bottom of the passageway which were wooden torches mounted on the walls of this cave.

With his mental energy already strong enough, it was fine for him to continue descending even before his eyes got used to the darkness.

so that the absorption process of cultivators will be faster and the storage space will be larger. It should be underlined that most of these advantages will diminish in effectiveness once a cultivator steps on a higher realm.”

While Noah spoke, they passed through a number of metal cells, most of them empty. Only a few of them were chained to the people inside. They are nothing more than skin and bones.

After some time they turned to the right and passed through the iron door, entering a room filled with torture devices.

William pointed to a rusty metal table with metal handcuffs on both sides.

"Open the top of your clothes and lie down with your stomach pointing to the ground, I will tie you to the table and give you a piece of cloth to bite on. Then we'll start."

Just as Noah was about to take off his clothes, William put a hand on his shoulder and asked doubtfully:

"From now on there's no turning back, this is your last chance to stop yourself from doing something you might regret."

Noah smiled slightly at how worried William was and honestly replied:

"There's never been a way back for me sir, not since this bastard, the son of a whore, had a stupid dream to be strong."

Then she undressed and with her half-naked body she lay on a metal table with her arms and legs open and her back pointed to the ceiling.

William felt a little pity.

Heaven and Earth were fair to all those who gave them the talent and methods to become strong, yet humans were greedy and monopolized the methods to gain more power.

'If it is the power you seek, you must serve under those who can teach you how to get it. I wonder what I would do if I were in this child's situation'

Observing the 10-and-a-half-year-old lying on a table used to torture prisoners, William steeled his resolve and approached him.

First, he chained both his hands and feet to handcuffs and then he took a piece of cloth from inside his sleeve and put it in Noah's mouth.

"I will begin, I will destroy the seven acupoints in the order described by Mad Doctor, then you will be alone. Good luck."

William placed his hand on Noah's back and concentrated.

He scanned the body looking for the exact position of the acupoints and, once he found them, he collected seven pieces of "Breath" from his dantian and inserted them into the boy's back.

"I'll start."

Noah tightened his grip on the chain ready for a wave of pain.

CRACKS

The first piece of "Breath" explodes destroying one acupoint with it.

An indescribable pain ran through Noah as he screamed through a piece of cloth in his mouth.

"GHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

He felt his back crumble as he twitched to try to escape the pain within him.

William remains impassable because he knows that he cannot lose his focus on the other six "Breath" sections.

"Now two more!"

He yelled.

crack cracks

This time Noah felt like someone was using a hammer to keep hitting his already broken back.

Even as he shouted and twitched, Noah repeated the same simple sentence in his mind.

'HOLD 'EM! HOLD THAT! HOLD IT!'

His whole focus is to remain conscious, during this process his remarkable progress with mental energy shows his fruit.

But William could not wait for her to get used to the pain.

"Three more!"

crack cracks crack cracks

Noah stopped trying to control his body, or rather he could not control his body anymore.

If it wasn't for William holding her on the table, she would probably have ripped her own hands and feet from the shackles.

Traces of blood appeared on the cloth inside Noah's mouth as he continued to shout nonstop.

He entered a frenzied state where he could not understand whether he was thinking about something or shouting it out. However, the sentence in his mind was still the same.

'HOLD IT!'

"Last!"

CRACKS

This time, the pain did not increase but a familiar feeling surfaced in his mind.

'What is this...death? So this is a race between the death of the body and its reconstruction! Come on!'

A vortex was being made and William continued to hold Noah's body in order for him to focus on reconstruction.

Through all the pain and feeling of his body dying, Noah finally felt the presence of "Breath" on his back. It accumulated at a high speed and attached to it.

'Now!'

Ignoring all the other sensations, he only focused on the "Breath" which drew him to the seven places where his acupoints used to be.

"Breath" enters the now empty space and accumulates to the brim.

Once the space was full, Noah used the rest of the "Breath" on it to close the space around the new acupoints waiting for them to form.

Little by little, the "Breaths" that were mixed with some bone fragments began to solidify and connect themselves to his skeleton and circulatory system.

Another wave of pain struck Noah as the new acupoints forcefully stuck to his existing body part, but he was ready for it.

He continued to survive with his life slowly sliding away, towards the darkness he knew so well.

Then the first acupoints ended their compaction and completely established themselves in Noah's body.

Waves of force flowed through it as the acupoint began to work.

Then it was time for the second, and then the third, until the seven new acupoints began to work well in Noah's body.

He held onto the barrier he had made to isolate the process for fear of a mistake, but feeling the darkness further away, he began to relax and slowly released his concentration.

With a new life invading his body, drowsiness overpowered him as he struggled to stay awake but at that moment, William held his head and said in a whisper: 'Switch:

"It's okay, you made it. You can rest now."

Noah's last mental resistance fell upon hearing these words and he fainted on the spot.

Seriate...
