Thank You for True Love
86 IS OVER

Mama Indri widened her eyes, not believing her current vision. A flash of anger was emitted in his sharp gaze which was fixed straight at the figure now standing before him, along with two policemen beside him.

Before arriving in front of Dinda's room, a person who was now standing weakly walked half-shuffled, half-dragged, with both hands locked the handcuffs behind his back and the arms were held tightly by the two policemen who were carrying him.

As his head rose to the top and looked at the woman who was starting to age, he tried to smile while holding a gunshot wound on his right leg.

"Tante, where's Adit? Where is Aditku? Why did these two people hurt me, Auntie?"

The plaakkk..!!!

One loud slap from Mama Indri landed quickly on the person's cheek until his face was turned to the side.

"You...!!" Mama Indri who was already furious, still tried to hold back her anger.

"What's my fault, Auntie? Why did Auntie slap me too? Pain, Aunt..." The reddened scar was clearly visible on his cheek accompanied by a gurgle of pain on his face. He grimaced to hold her.

"After what you've done, you're still asking what's your fault..??"

No longer able to hold back, Mama made a loud voice making Adit who was still in the room Dinda surprised to hear the high voice of the unusual mother.

After gently kissing his wife's forehead, he got up from his seat beside Dinda, then rushed towards the door and came out to see what was happening.

"Love...!!!"

Highlight Adit's eyes turned sharp and wrathful. Both of his palms clenched tightly together with his jaws hardened with a brooding mouth restraining emotions.

Sinta's face turned bright as soon as she saw the man she became obsessed with standing in front of her. He wanted to get close to Adit but his arm was held back by the grip of the police hand beside him.

"Adit..! I miss you, Dit. Where have you been, Dit? You said you'd always be with me, but you left, you stayed away from me..."

Hix.. Hiiks... Hiiix...

Sinta cried like a child. His face turned gloomy and full of sadness.

"I'm tired, Dit. I'm tired of waiting for you. I'm tired of looking for you..."

His body was limp, slumped down on the floor, no longer concerned with the pain in his legs.

"But you're always with him. You always protect her. I hate it, Dit! I hate him...!!"

Sinta lifted her face, looking at Adit with eyes full of anger, as shown by Adit to him.

Adit did not care about Sinta's words at all. He remained silent where he stood, with all his might holding back the emotions he actually wanted to vent on the woman.

The shadow of his wife lying weak and still unconscious in the room, made him remember all the bad events that befell Dinda and caused their little daughter to be born prematurely. And all of that was caused by Sinta. Ask the one who has committed all the crimes against Dinda.

"Sir, how did it go until he got here?"

Adit prefers to talk to the police who arrested Sinta, rather than having to respond to whatever Sinta's words were intended for him.

The two policemen told me everything. Starting from one of the hospital visitors who asked where Dinda's treatment room, while the hospital already knew if Dinda was in police protection.

Because of the suspicious movements, the hospital information section immediately contacted the police guarding there via mobile phone. But when asked to wait first, the visitor actually rushed in to ignore the speech of employees who tried to hold back and buy time.

The two thugs in front of Dinda's room immediately took quick steps to wait for Sinta to find Dinda's room.

They stood guard at the end of the corridor right at the intersection between the corridors, the only way to get to Dinda's room, while waiting for the help of personnel to arrive.

Shortly thereafter, the police saw the unnatural agitation of a woman who was walking in a hurry with eyes constantly searching in every room.

After confirming that the woman was Sinta, the target of their search, the two policemen immediately stopped Sinta's movements and were about to arrest her. But Sinta managed to turn around and tried to run as the police approached her, so they were forced to stop her with gunfire next to her foot.

A few policemen came with Papa Satrio. They immediately moved to the hospital after getting information from the police who served there. The presence of police dressed in uniform makes the atmosphere a little boisterous because some visitors around them feel curious and want to know what happened.

"Take him out of here, sir. And make sure he receives the most severe punishment..!!"

Adit no longer paid attention to Sinta. He did not want to think about who Sinta was, their past, their closeness or their previous togetherness. All he knew and he remembered now was just one thing, that woman who had always disturbed his life and continued to attack his wife Dinda.

"Dit, help me..! I'm not leaving, Dit. I just want to be with you. It's..!!"

Sinta tried to rebel as her body was pulled to stand up again even with her legs still injured. His mouth did not stop screaming Adit's name. But Adit did not budge, he still turned his face, absolutely no longer want to see Sinta, his past friend.

"Please take him to the IGD room first, so that his legs can be treated, before you take him to the police station."

Papa Satrio still has pity. He could not bear to see the gunshot scar on Sinta's leg that was still open and bleeding. At least, let the wound be given first aid and covered in bandages so as not to get worse.

Police comply with Papa Satrio's request. They left the front of Dinda's treatment room and left two uniformed policemen still there.

Sinta's cry was still heard until her body was no longer visible. Adit breathed a sigh of relief and rubbed his face slowly. One of the burdens of his biggest problems is over.

The threat that some days he was still worried about could happen again, was finally done. Sinta has been caught and will take responsibility for his actions.

Adit immediately entered Dinda's room, followed by Mama Indri. Meanwhile, Papa Satrio and Mr. Jo who took part were still outside the room with two policemen on duty.

Adit immediately approached his wife who was still unconscious and had not shown any response. He kissed Dinda's forehead, then both his cheeks and a brief kiss on the wife's pale lips.

"Wake, baby. It's all over. No one else will hurt you. Get well soon, we wait for you..."

Adit sat down beside Dinda with his hands tightly grasping the weak hands of his wife. He kissed her repeatedly on the back of the hand, with prayers of supplication in his heart.

Mama Indri who saw him smiled and was happy. He was also grateful that Sinta had been arrested and will soon serve his sentence. After making sure Adit was calm and could accompany his own wife, Mama Indri decided to leave the room.

There has not been an hour in an atmosphere that has been calm, suddenly both parents Adit entered the room with a tense face back.

"R..." Call Papa Satrio.

Adit looked at his parents alternately with a puzzled look.

"What's up, Pa? Ma?"

Papa and his mother looked at each other then looked at Adit's face hesitantly to convey something.

"Love, Dit. She's....."
