Thank You for True Love
55 HEALING HIMSELF - PART 2

Adit is determined to immediately heal the trauma within Dinda. According to him, the fear experienced by his wife after several events that happened to him, is still within the limits of fairness.

Dinda still does everything well. Both at home and in the booth, he still shows his daily life as usual.

He was still avoiding only one thing, which was a video call on his phone. Maybe he was still overshadowed by the incident during the departure of Bimo at that time.

But after getting an explanation from the Princess, Adit will try to familiarize Dinda with the video call as before, so that there is no deposit of fear in her because she continues to avoid the activity.

"Darling, are you feeling better now?"

Adit slightly bent down to hug his wife from behind, while Dinda still tidied her hair in front of her dresser. Dinda smiled and looked at her husband from the reflection of the mirror in front of her.

"I'm doing fine. Don't worry about me too much."

"But my dear, every day your sleep is still disturbed by recurring nightmares. Every day I find yourself waking up to such a condition, I can't bear to see you being tormented constantly."

Adit turned Dinda's body to face him, then he knelt in front of his wife while holding Dinda's hands.

"Listen to me. I want you to heal. You can sleep well, dream well, and wake up with a face full of smiles. That's all I want, baby."

Dinda's eyes glazed over hearing all Adit's words. She pulled on her husband's body and hugged him tightly. Adit could feel his wife's thrashing.

"cry. Take out everything in your heart. Your sadness, your fear, whatever it is that's bothering you. Let go of everything through your cries."

Adit returned Dinda's embrace. He kissed his head, his forehead, and rubbed his wife's back gently and soulfully.

Along with that, Dinda could no longer hold back her tears. Her tears spilled over Adit's clothes. He took out all the burdens that stuck in his heart.

Adit let Dinda vent all her feelings through the crying that made the river. Give his wife time to calm down in her loving warm embrace.

Almost half an hour later, Dinda was still crying in her husband's arms. Meanwhile, Adit, he no longer cares about his legs that feel numb because they kneel too long and hold Dinda's body in his arms.

Whatever he would do to make Dinda recover and escape the shadow of his fear. He loves his wife very much and wants Dinda to be happy with him.

"I'm sorry, honey. I cried too long.."

Dinda let go of his embrace. She's not crying anymore. Her tears had already drained away along with the burden in her heart that had been much reduced.

"Thank you for always being whatever I need. Your shoulder is the best place for me to rest all my tired heart. Your chest is the most comfortable place for me to let go of my soul. And your embrace is the warmest place I've ever been looking to calm myself of all the trouble that comes and goes."

Adit pulled Dinda's body to stand together. Now they face each other with meaningful eye signals for both. And without a sound, Adit moved his head forward, feeling he kissed his wife's forehead long enough, then went down to kiss her lips. After that both of his hands grabbed Dinda's shoulders and quickly pulled her body into his arms.

Dinda who gets a touch and a hug from her husband immediately reciprocates by wrapping her hands around Adit's waist, returning her embrace tighter. Her head moved downhill, looking for her most comfortable place in the chest of the husband's field. She buried her face there, while occasionally kissing her husband's body parts.

"Don't be tired of understanding me and keeping me company through all my difficult times. I'm sorry if it still bothers you and becomes a burden on your mind."

Adit shook his head though invisible to Dinda who was still drowning in the arms of her husband.

"Never, dear. You are my responsibility. And we'll always go through everything, whatever it is together."

Dinda nodded her head and continued to tighten her embrace.

That same night, a couple were waiting for their dinner at a cafe. They seem to be getting closer by the day. The expanding smile, the loosening laughter, and the eyes that stared at each other with shady and loving glare, further united the feeling of love between the two.

On the dining table, their hands clasped each other, flowing the warmth of the taste that infiltrated deep into the recesses of the heart.

"Yes, I'm sorry I didn't tell you all day. Even this afternoon I was late to pick you up."

"It's okay, ma'am. As long as you don't forget me and I stay in your heart, that's enough for me."

Andi smiled watching Rinaya sitting next to him. One of his hands supported his cheeks with the focus of his elbow on the table. With a slight tilt of his face, he became more free to look at the beautiful face of his future wife.

"Don't look at me like that, ma'am. I'm ashamed.."

Rinaya's face was red with embarrassment. Despite getting used to the shady eyes, she still felt a warm vibe tickling her heart, whenever her lover nailed a glance at her.

Andi ended their romantic position when a waiter came to deliver their order.

After the waiter left, Andi and Rinaya immediately enjoyed their drinks and dinner dishes quietly until it was over.

"Yes, did you notice anything changing about Dinda after that last incident?"

Andi refers to the events in Dinda's room while receiving a video call from a friend.

"Nothing, mas. I saw he was fine and his activities at the cafe were as usual."

"Only, his face always looked lethargic. Not as fresh as before and if I pay more attention, he's a little pale. His eyes also looked like he was sleep deprived.."

"Is there something going on again, ma'am?"

Andi shook her head and turned towards her lover.

"none. But the effects of the incident still affected Dinda's feelings. He had a trauma that haunted him to this point."

Andi then told Rinaya everything. About Adit's whole story, Adit's concerns, and about his departure with Adit to see a psychiatrist who is his friend.

Rinaya showed her surprise. He did not expect that his best friend was going through something bad that made his soul weak and helpless.

"Therefore I offered help to consult a psychiatrist. She was the fiancee of my college friend. Me and Adit met him this afternoon at his practice."

Rinaya only realized that the current state of Dinda is still quite alarming. If he continues to experience nightmares, his body and soul will become weaker and more fragile. And that could make him sick.

"If you are in the booth, accompany him often with Elisha. Don't leave him alone in his room for too long, even though he's doing his job there. Let him speak and tell about things that are light and pleasant, so that his heart and mind cannot be touched by his trauma."

"Mas Adit didn't ask us to do it. But it would be nice if we could support him and help him to recover Dinda's condition."

"Yes, mas. I will talk to Elisha. Hopefully, with the support of affection and attention from all of us, will accelerate the recovery of Dinda's health."

Andi grabs her lover's hand and invites her to leave their dinner table. They walk hand in hand and throw each other a smile with a friendly gaze towards Andi's car in the parking area in front of the cafe.
