Thank You for True Love

Thank You for True Love
77 FEAR OF LOSS

After dawn, Adit intends to finish his pending work overnight. But his mind could not calm down because it thought of Dinda and Bagus.

Just this time she felt uneasy when she saw Dinda with her boyfriend. Before, his heart was always calm and he could act ordinary even though Dinda was with another man besides himself.

But this time, I don't know why his feelings are different. I don't know what the name of this feeling is, which obviously he just feels uncomfortable with this situation.

Adit hugged Dinda tightly while leaning on the head of the bed. His mind is still moving everywhere. His body reacted to his anxiety and gave rise to small movements that kept changing.

Dinda who was in his arms, could feel Adit's unsettled gestures from earlier.

"Mas, what's wrong with you?"

"I'm okay, baby."

Dinda knew Adit was lying and covering something up. He thought it might have something to do with Good. Because after all, she was also covering up something about Nice from her husband. And it could be that Adit feels that way.

"Mas, I'm sorry, if I'm wrong with you." Said Dinda in Adit's arms.

"Do you feel like you're making a mistake with me?"

Dinda dam for a moment. He was weighing whether to tell it now or later.

As he was thinking, his phone suddenly rang. Adit who was closer to the table immediately grabbed Dinda's phone and gave it to his wife.

As he held the phone, he saw the name of the sender of the message on the brightly lit screen.

"Good..." He murmured in his heart.

Dinda received her phone with her right hand. She still hugged her husband with her left hand around his waist behind Adit.

With one hand he opened and read the message from Good. His head was still leaning against the husband's chest, allowing Adit to read the message from above Dinda's head..

"Good morning, Din. Morning walks are great for pregnant women. Don't be lazy to exercise for the sake of your future baby."

Dinda smiled reading the message. A sweet message from someone who once gave a sweet memory in Dinda's heart, although not owned.

"Mas, good to send me a message."

Dinda's head was raised up with her right hand and held out her phone to Adit.

"I can read it from here."

Adit did not take Dinda's phone because she read it from above and already knew the contents of the message. He tightened his embrace on his wife's body and kissed the tip of Dinda's head with a sense of uneasiness that still touched his heart.

"May I return the message, ma'am?"

Everything related to other men, Dinda must always ask Adit permission first. He did not want any misunderstandings between them.

"Yes." Yeah." Adit answered briefly making Dinda feel something was hidden by her husband.

"Mas, if you don't want me to reply, I won't reply to a message from Bagus. But please don't be mad at me..."

Adit just kept quiet and tightened his embrace as if to show that only he has the right to have Dinda.

"Am I exaggerating, if I say I'm afraid of losing you, baby?"

Both of Adit's eyes closed as he said that. Whether it was her feelings or the fact that Dinda was hiding something about her and Good, only Dinda could explain it.

But Adit refused to ask. He chose silence, letting what Dinda would do without her asking.

"What are you talking about, mom? I won't go anywhere and I won't belong to anyone but you, mas."

Inside Dinda's chest felt a very strong urge, as if it was so heavy to hold. Hearing her husband's words made her feel guilty for hiding something even if only last night.

"I'm sorry, mas..."

"What are you sorry for?"

"I haven't told you a good story yet. Not because of anything, but I just want to finish my past feelings first, before I tell you. But apparently, I'm going to tell you now so you don't misunderstand, mas."

Finally Dinda decided to say it all now, before Adit increasingly thought about the no-no about it.

Adit did not let go of his embrace. He wanted to listen to the story of Dinda staying in the position of those who embraced each other like that. And Dinda kept her head on her husband's chest, sighed slowly and began her story.

"Good was my first love in high school..."

Instantly Adit remembered Dinda's words while they were staying at Dinda's parents' house after mourning Bimo's departure.

That afternoon, in Dinda's room, Adit asked about someone his wife might have liked in her school days.

And Dinda replies if she likes someone who never expressed her feelings for Dinda, among the many boyfriend who likes her.

"Who have you ever told me? Your first love is buried in your heart because he is always silent and never once expressed feelings for you?"

"Do you still have the same feelings for her?"

Adit asked frankly because that was what had disturbed his mind and made him feel afraid of losing.

Dinda fell silent and closed her eyes. He was still hesitant to answer that important question. Not because he still harbored his past feelings, but because he did not want to dissolve in the memory of the beautiful past.

"My relationship with Good was very impressive to my heart. My happiest times and my best times as a teenager were good times."

As Dinda finished her sentence, she could feel Adit's rough pull and breath pass through her face still leaning over her husband's body.

"Yesterday when I met him, I felt a small tremor in my heart. I was also nervous when we met eyes a few times......."

Adit further tightened his embrace until Dinda had a little trouble letting out her own breath. Dada Adit was so overcrowded hearing the confession of his beloved wife. The fear became more real he felt.

"But that doesn't mean I still love him, ma'am."

Dinda continued her delayed sentence due to Adit's embrace which felt like a grip because it was so tight.

"I think it's just a normal reaction to meeting someone from our past. Someone who's been there and carved a beautiful story in our hearts."

"Meeting and remembering the past does not mean we will return to him. We cannot erase the past from our lives. Because from the past we can learn to be better and move again towards the future."

Adit began to digest and tried to understand the words spoken by Dinda gently and very carefully.

He never loved a woman other than his wife. Dinda was the first and had been the last in her heart. Just him, there's no one else but him.

"I'm sorry, honey. I'm too scared to lose you. Because you're the only woman in my heart. Nothing before you and nothing after you."

Dinda smiled broadly at the expression of her husband's heart. He felt much calmer after telling Adit everything. There was nothing else he covered and he hid. And that's how it should be.

Pulling her body from her husband's arms and sitting facing him, Dinda then nailed her gaze to the face she always missed during the night.

A face that always disturbs the concentration of his mind and weakens the working power of his brain when away from him. A face with a gentle smile full of patience that always calms him at all times.

"He's just my past, and you're my future, man."

Slowly, Dinda brought her face closer to Adit's face which had revealed a happy smile when she heard the words of love from his wife.

"I love you, mas. Don't doubt me anymore."

"I love you too, baby. You're the only one I love. I believe you."

Adit warmly welcomes a kiss from the lips of his wife who has now fused with his lips. Releasing all the fear that had approached him, he began to fondle his wife with passion.

As if wanting to forget all the bad thoughts that haunted him all night, Adit began to rule his wife's body and give a touch of love in every part of Dinda's body. The movements are soft, very soft, full of tenderness. Because there is something they must take care of in there, the beloved baby who will soon be present completes their love story.
