Meet at a glance, when you first see it.

As I hastily ran down one run per rung of stairs to the hall of a faculty, in one of the city's private colleges.

"I'm late, very late..!! O Allah, help me..!!!" My mind is confused, because today I have to take the entrance screening test of prospective new students here, and I am too late, huwaaa...

The clock on my left wrist had already shown eight more than thirty minutes, while the first hour of the exam was supposed to start at half-eight, an hour ago.

"It's not too late yet, no intention of college what I am.." Hard claps of his own forehead.

At the door of the hall I was headed to.

"Huuft, bismillah..!" Take a deep breath before I knock on the door that was left open during the exam.

"Assalamualaikum, I'm sorry I'm late Ma'am, sir.."

All eyes in the hall suddenly turned straight to me full of probing, question marks, suspicious, cynical.., or whatever their expressions were really diverse looking at me fixedly.

"What name? And why are you so late for so long?" One of the female lecturers waiting for the exam asked me.

"Paramitha Adinda. Sorry ma'am, I was wrong when I took public transportation here. I'm from the next town, I don't understand the territory."

Dag dig dug I pray in my heart that I may be allowed to take the test.

Then the lecturer chatted quietly with the lecturer beside his seat, then nodded his head and called me to come closer.

"Fill your attendance list here first, and it'll take your exam soon. If it's not finished, just continue on during your break!"

Immediately I entered the hall towards the front desk of the examination overseers, then I filled out the list of attendees. After that I received the pile of papers handed to me, I immediately walked towards the back bench that I saw empty for where I was doing the exam.

Halfway back, a fellow examinee still looked at me sharply. A small smile appeared at the end of his lips. I just glanced at him as he continued towards my stool and began to work on my exam.

After sitting down, I immediately struggled with my exam questions, until half an hour passed the bell marking the exam ended. The examinees left the room after collecting their exam sheets, except for me who was still in a hurry to finish my exam.

Several participants were seen exiting the room through the back door that was right next to my stool.

Just as I was about to open the next question sheet, my eyes unintentionally stared in front of me, just as a guy passed me to get out. It turned out to be the guy who was again, and now he also showed his little smile while continuing to walk out.

"Remain him from earlier that smile, know him also not.." Gulp me in my heart while lowering my gaze, returning towards my test matters.

The clock turned at half-ten when the entrance bell of the second-hour exam room rang, as I finished collecting the papers of my first hour and turned towards my stool.

One line before I get to my stool, "Douh..!" My little squeal was held back. My right arm was clashing with someone coming in from the back door.

"Eh, he again he again.." My mind when I see who nudged my arm, still with his little smile.

Without waiting for my answer, he passed towards his stool. I watched for a moment his steps, relaxed a bit with both palms stuffed into the front pocket of his pants. While a small sling bag appears on his back.

Ah, I don't want to bother, I'll sit back soon because I see the supervisors have started handing out the exam papers.

Seriously, I did my second test, even though I actually did not master the material this time. But optimistically I hope, the results can still lead me to become a new student at this favorite campus.

In the afternoon, after I finished passing my exam, I walked slowly to the main gate of the campus, which was quite far from the faculty where my exam was.

The heat started to sting at the end of my head. Several times I rubbed off the sweat that started to melt, falling to the edge of my face.

"Ah, hot! Hopefully the public transport is not full this morning.." Just now I was starting to imagine full-blown being in public transport, all of a sudden..

"Tin.., tiinn..!" The sound of a motor horn blew my imagination.

"I've been walking on the edge of the gini, it's still lacking the road's motor." My anger in my heart.

"It's hot.." A red sport bike stopped by my side, giving me the reflex to stop my steps. I forced myself to look at the rider who was opening the glass cover of the front of his helmet.

"Kok, he again..?" I began to recognize his face that did not forget to reappear his little smile like in the examination room earlier.

For a moment I was confused to act. I wanted to continue my steps, but the front wheel of the bike was slightly turned towards the edge, making me unable to move forward.

I don't want to bully him, I've had enough heat under the hot sun this afternoon. Just want to go home soon.

I wanted to turn the steps behind the bike, but his hand prevented me. He held out something in his right hand.

Kulrikik, a bottle of orange juice, made me swallow because of my thirst.

"It's for you, the spirit of the home yes.." He said as he waited for me to receive his gift.

Doubtful I think I should accept it or I just ignore it.

Not until I made my decision, his left hand rushed to grab my right hand and put the bottle of drink in the palm of my hand.

Not waiting for my reaction, he immediately passed by with his motorbike, leaving a slight smile that I could still see on the tip of his lips.

"Thank you.." I said softly, he couldn't hear it either.

I looked at the speed of the motor to the main gate of the campus that had been seen from where I stood. Then he turned to the right and disappeared from my sight.

"Alhamdulillah windy, when I am this hot and thirsty.."

I laughed myself open the bottle cap, sip orange juice which really relieved my dry throat, while I prayed for him that he would not put poison in this drink. Basic me..!!
