52 SHADOW BIMO (TRAUMA) - PART 2

Early in the morning before dawn, Dinda woke up first while Adit was still very sound behind his blanket which had just been tidied up by his wife to cover her body to the extent of the chest.

He woke up with a hunting breath accompanied by a very sticky and sultry feeling throughout his body. He remembered his dream. More precisely a nightmare. Nightmares about death.

In his dream, Dinda was in a navel of someone. He cried alone lamenting his loss. Only the raindrops that accompanied him gathered to stare at the wooden tombstone that stuck at the top of the navel.

Her tears continued to flow while she read the inscription engraved on the wooden tombstone. I'm the One Who Always Loved You. Thus the writing he read repeatedly and made his tears pour more and more, until he woke up earlier.

Ambiguous mind. There was another inscription engraved on a wooden tombstone in his dream. Who is he in that dream? Was it Bimo who had just died yesterday? Or, he thought of another person who must have always loved him and always been with him...

"Simplified..!!" Dinda screamed in her heart. She turned to her sleeping husband with a calm face. His heart rippled violently making his breath choked accompanied by an irregular heartbeat at all.

The intense fear filled his heart and mind. The events in his dream carried over to the real world and controlled him.

Without being prevented, a tear spill escaped just so wet the entire face of Dinda who had paled. He sobbed with a sobbing that grew louder, so he woke Adit from his slumber.

Adit immediately opened his eyes as his hearing caught a loud and unrelenting sound of crying. He sat down and found the body of the wife next to him also sitting with his face down and shoulders that continued to be shaken along with the sobbing that still continues to sound.

"Darling..! What's wrong with you, honey?"

Adit instantly pulled Dinda's body and hugged her so tightly.

Dinda who suddenly felt her body was already in the arms of her husband, returned Adit's embrace and again shed his tears on the chest of the husband.

"Don't go.. Hix.. Don't leave me.. Hicks, hicks...!" Dinda grew sobbing between the fear and sorrow that engulfed her soul.

"I'm here, baby. I'm with you. I'm always here with you.." Adit tightened his embrace and constantly kissed the top of his wife's head over and over again.

After Dinda's cry subsided, Adit stretched his embrace. He looked at his wife's tearful face and gently wiped it with both hands. After that he kissed Dinda's eyes that were swollen because of the great cry earlier.

"What's going on? You can't sleep?" Ask Adit.

"I'm dreaming. What a terrible dream. I'm so scared of losing you."

"Is it like last night, when you're afraid to close your eyes?"

"same. But it's all about death." Dinda then told me about the dream she had just had.

"I'm afraid of losing you. I was afraid you would leave me. I-i..." Adit covered Dinda's mouth with one of his index fingers.

"Already, baby! Don't say anything anymore. Don't think about the things you're afraid of. Always remember all the beautiful events in your life, so that bad shadows can no longer come your way."

Dinda could only nod her head, trying to obey her husband. She always believed in her husband. Because Adit always obeys every word and does actions that always make him calm in any situation and condition.

"It's dawn time. We pray first, all pray and ask for good and happiness for us." Take Adit while kissing his wife's forehead.

"I'm gonna take a shower, baby. My body is stinky and full of sweat."

"alright. You take a shower first. After that we just got together."

Adit releases his embrace and lets Dinda out of the room, while she settles herself back down while waiting for Dinda to finish cleaning herself up.

By noon, Dinda and Adit go to Bimo's house. They kept their promise to come to see Siska, because there was a final day from Bimo that had to be delivered to Dinda.

They arrive at Bimo's house and are greeted kindly by Siska. After a while waiting in the living room, Siska reappeared with two boxes.

"This is what Bimo left me to give you. He just told me you had to take it."

Siska placed the two boxes on the table and pushed them slowly towards Dinda.

Questioningly and hesitantly, Dinda picked up the larger box. He opened it slowly and looked at the contents inside.

It turned out to be a stack of photos all of which were photos of Dinda. He took some of those photos and Adit was also interested in taking some of the others.

They looked at each other one of the photos. Everything is a photo when Dinda sat on the High School bench first. The moment where Bimo still keeps trying to make her his lover. The moment where every day Bimo always follows him everywhere to keep saying that Dinda must accept Bimo.

Dinda smiled looking at the pictures. So did Adit who was happy to see a photo of Dinda's youth, when she was a teenager and in a gray white uniform.

Photos with various behavior and activities of Dinda at school and outside the school, all are summarized in dozens of photos. If counted there may be more than fifty different photos.

Dinda was amazed because she did not think Bimo could steal a lot of photos of him. Most of the photos are spontaneous candid photos that actually show the joy and happiness of Dinda what was at that time.

"I didn't expect Bimo to have this many pictures of me, which not even I myself had." Dinda said to Siska.

"She looked at the pictures every day. And as he learned about his illness, he saw more and more of those photos. I always hear him say sorry, apologize to you through those photos."

Dinda was surprised to hear Siska's story. And he remembered about Bimo's pain.

"Well, if I may know, what exactly is Bimo sick?" He dared to ask Siska.

The question instantly made Siska's face turn into a wistful one. Implied sadness in the glare of his eyes that I love.

"Cancer liver. One year ago, he was diagnosed with stage three liver cancer."

Dinda and Adit grew louder and louder

siska's Answer. Didn't expect Bimo to suffer from such a severe illness.

"But when we met him in Bali a few months ago, he still looked healthy, huh?"

"Oh yeah, he told me about your meeting. He looked so happy, that he forgot about the pain."

Siska continued her story.

"She had just come from Singapore to check on her health. In Singapore it is known that the disease is getting worse and has reached stage four."

"Doctors estimate that there are only three months left. But maybe because of her happiness after meeting you, she could last longer until her last moment yesterday."

Siska's eyes began to glaze over the struggle of the sister against her disease which in the end had to give up resigned to the decree of the destiny of the Almighty.
