SUPPOSE THAT...

SUPPOSE THAT...
A HEART THAT IS PALE

The first thing Dave did when he got out of the hospital and was healthy was to Memorial Park, a Cemetery on a hill with a beautiful environment with many Cambodian Trees and thick manicured Japanese grass that covers the area like a rug.

It had been about half an hour more Dave was sculpting without doing anything other than staring at the headstone of the white granite engraved name that had lately filled his mind, RENDY A MARTHADINATA.

He who since childhood was indoctrinated only Andreas was his biological father could not imagine the slightest about the figure that now lies quietly in the mound of the ground.

Since long ago what he pursued was the figure of Andreas, even because his middle name is also Andreas makes him more motivated to be like him. And now suddenly he has to accept the harsh reality of his real father. A figure that never even crossed his mind in the slightest.

Dave was still silent in his seagrass and blank stare that led to the tomb covered in Japanese grass. The afternoon breeze gently brushed her hair that covered her forehead, making her look more mature because her face was now more thin with her jawbone protruding.

"...Too bad we don't know each other." he said slowly.

The atmosphere was so calm and there were only a few tomb workers who were sweeping the leaves and flowers of the Frangipani Flower Trees around the tomb. "Mom says I look like you." he pulled the tip of his lips just before turning back to silence with his usual flat face.

Dave took a deep breath again while looking down. His 20-year life was just like waking up on a lie and now he's being forced to accept it.

For a long time he just stood in front of the tomb, until a while later he turned his body and his eyes rounded to see Kirana and Jonathan who was difficult to stand behind him.

Kirana who was carrying a bunch of delicious flowers at night and Jonathan who was carrying a basket containing sow flowers was no less surprised to see her.

"Dave...?" Kirana said unconsciously.

Jonathan immediately grabbed Kirana by the shoulder, grabbed onto her and looked at Dave in a hostile manner. Kirana who was still shocked, with eyes still pointing at Dave was only silent when Jonathan did that.

But Dave just walked past them without saying anything.

"Look at his annoying face." Jonathan sneered still with a fierce face staring at Dave's back who was starting to move away.

"She must be in shock" Kirana said with a concerned look.

"Does a face like that show people in shock ?" Jonathan wasn't sure.

"Why are you talking like that ? He had just been in an accident and had to accept the fact that must have hurt his heart." martial Kirana.

"Why are you defending him ?" Jonathan folded his hands together in the chest. "doesn't remember his evil talk to you ?" he reminded.

Kirana puffed both her cheeks." He was so because he thought I was taking Daddy from him." he said.

Jonathan melengos's. " This is what makes me anxious when I go home to Tokyo" he said, looking at the girl with brown eyes who was getting brighter because of the bias of sunlight. "You're too kind, you're always positive about everyone who's obviously been saying bad things about you."

Kirana lowered her head with a frown.

"I know you feel sorry for her." Jonathan placed both his hands on Kirana's shoulders who was still lowered. " But I don't want you to get hurt and cry anymore because of him" she continued.

Meanwhile, Dave's Lamborghini Hurracan Evo has been speeding on a deserted highway. As the look on Kirana's face loomed in her mind, there was discomfort every time Dave looked her in the eyes, and even more unpleasant when the focus of his eyes was on the hand of Jonathan who was on the shoulder of the girl.

Dave's face was stiff, he chose to ignore all the flavors and shadows of the girl he once felt - her sweet lips and warm hugs her body and stomps on the gas pedal deeper.

He walked into an apartment lobby in downtown and from a distance he had seen the person he had been calling Daddy sitting in the smoking room

"Sorry to disturb your working hours" Dave said as soon as he got nearby.

Andreas who was wearing a long-sleeved light blue shirt immediately turned off his cigarette and got up to his feet.

"Why is the language so sad like that ?" say it while smiling.

Dave just shut up and smiled knotty.

Along the way Dave just silently looked down, while the man half a century was occasionally looking at him. Until they both got into the elevator.

"Your mom is sick ?" andreas asked to break the silence between them as the red mark above began to add to his numbers.

"...Well." answered Dave briefly without looking towards his interlocutor.

"Why not treat ?" ask Andrew again.

Dave sighed, maybe if he did not know the truth about his real father, surely now he would swear because of his father's attitude that there is no worry at all from his tone of speech.

"Once again, Mom never wanted to." Dave finally replied.

Andreas was silent to hear it with a mind of mind, about their youth while looking at the number that now shows the 10th floor.

"...Why do you have to pretend to be my real father ?" ask Dave again without looking in the direction he was talking to.

Andreas held his head up, looking at the red figures in the elevator that kept going up towards their destination.

"Because you're my brother's son." Andreas answered while looking at the young man standing next to him.

Dave did not react, he still stared straight at the closed elevator door while leaning back.

"It was like that at first." continued Andreas while still staring at Dave from the side. "But the bigger you grow, the bigger Daddy's affection for you." Andreas.

"...How does it feel to know your wife and brother are sleeping together ?" Dave again asked after being silent and without looking at Andreas.

The 50-year-old was stunned to hear the words coming out of the mouth of his 20-year-old son.

"You were still tied to marriage, weren't you ?" He looked towards Andrew.

For a moment the man who still looked handsome at his age who was no longer young was silent, then chuckled. " I'm sorry I laughed." he rubbed the corner of his watery eyes. "But you really look like Rendy" he said.

Dave melengos heard it.

"Honestly, I didn't care what your Mommy did." Andrea says. "She's the kind of selfish girl who always numbered her position and self-esteem, almost the same as your grandfather." Andrew smiled for a moment. "I never understood Rendy either, but she was always by my side." she looked down and was silent for a while.

This time Dave looked towards his Daddy.

"...Maybe I'm selfish too, because I used to think only of myself and the only woman I loved." Andreas and Dave looked at each other. "The person you call Mom, she's the only one I love even though I was married to your mommy by then."

Dave's forehead is a little wrinkled to hear it, but now there's no reason for his anger or jealousy.

"When I found it again, all I had in mind was wanting to be with him and our son Kirana." Andreas said. "So without thinking I said divorce to your Mommy." They looked at each other again. "I hope you don't misunderstand Dave, but since marrying your Mommy I've never touched her even though as you know, I was once a scoundrel" he said calmly.

The elevator was heard at the door that opened on the 30th floor. Andreas steps out of the elevator following Dave. Again they walked around the hallway with many doors like in the hotel.

They stopped at a door number 2288.

"This is his apartment room, open it" Andreas said with a smile.

Dave pulled out a key wrapped in plastic clips from his jeans pocket, then pulled out the key and used it to open the door.

Dave was still silent in the doorway when Andreas had already gone inside and turned his head towards him.

"Come on Dave, this is your Daddy's own apartment." Andreas says.
