SUPPOSE THAT...

SUPPOSE THAT...
UNDECIDED

"Dave, where are you ?" the voice from inside the phone is heard.

"I was driving Kirana to the Police Station" Dave said with a cell phone he had placed on his right ear. His face looked riled up when he received a call from Angela. But he tried to stay calm and be honest.

"Is Kirana still in shock ? Aah, she must have been shocked." Angela's voice sounded concerned.

"yes, he's in shock. But it's okay now." Dave felt guilty.

"I should have seen Jon also issued a statement that the cancellation of the marriage was on a mutual decision. And he'll also be coming back soon after this case is over." Angela. "Did they really split up, Dave ?" ask Angela to know.

Dave gulped. "..It seems so." he said slowly.

Angela's voice was complaining. "It's a pity that if they get married they will be a compatible couple, and their children will be narrow-eyed like Mama and Papa." Angela says.

"Angela." call Dave. Again, his voice sounded uninspired.

"Yes, Dave ?" saith.

"I want to talk to you about something." Say Dave.

"Speak, I listen." Angela's tone was careless.

Dave looks dorky. From a distance he saw Kirana who had just come out of the police station and was walking to the parking lot.

"We'll talk later. I have to do something first." said Dave quickly. And before Angela said anything, Dave had turned off his phone.

"How ?" dave asked as Kirana opened the car door and sat down next to him.

Kirana did not answer. He was bowed with a lethargic face.

Dave clucked in annoyance. "I told you, why did you meet him ?" ask Dave not to think.

"Dave." call Kirana without looking at her.

Dave looked towards Kirana.

"When are we gonna tell everyone about our relationship ?" kirana's grim face looked towards Dave. "What about Angela ?" ask again when Dave had not been able to answer.

Dave leaned his back on the car jog and let out a long sigh. His heart fretted after receiving a call from his fiancee.

Kirana rested her head on the jog while looking at the sad Dave.

For a moment they were silent with their own thoughts.

"..I think it's gonna be easy. But it turns out heavy huh, Dave ?" Kirana the first said.

Dave looked towards her.

They looked at each other without speaking.

"I should only know you hate me." Kirana said slowly. His eyes water back. "Ah, I am indeed a crybaby." he wiped his tears before flowing.

"You want me to keep pretending to hate you ?" ask Dave without emotion.

Kirana did not answer.

"You don't know my efforts all this time to blow you." Dave gulped with a watchful look staring at the backup of the front car.

Kirana raised her face looking at Dave.

Kirana was still staring with both of her beautiful bright brown eyes.

"I'm not a good person to talk about love." Dave looked at her. "I hardly want to hope anymore about us. Because I've been thinking about the risks and the number of people who get hurt if I keep pushing this relationship."

Dave looked at Kirana deeply. On elus a scratch wound on Kirana's right cheek which she covered with her long hair. "But seeing you being hurt and receiving insults from others for my mistakes, it makes me unable to hide it anymore" Dave said solemnly.

"The cave.." Kirana held Dave's hand which cupped her right cheek.

"I know Jonathan better than I am passive and can't do much for you. But the more I look at you guys, the less willing I am to take you off with him." Dave's black eyes stared honestly at Kirana, making the girl's face wrinkle back and her eyes water.

"Can we be selfish, Dave ?" Kirana. "I'm afraid Angela will change like Shopie. I'm also afraid Daddy's gonna get angry. Then your family..?" Kirana looked at him with tears.

"Basic plin-plan." Dave flicked Kirana's forehead softly to melt the atmosphere.

Kirana held onto her forehead with a pouting face. But before he protested, Dave had already hugged him with a sigh.

"You gave me courage. Why do you even say you're scared now ?" ask Dave while taking off his arms.

"Because I don't think you like me." Kirana said innocently while wiping her tears.

Dave laughed out loud hearing that.

"Why laugh ?" kirana was upset.

"Everyone will be happy if his expression of love is well received. But why do you look disappointed ?" ask Dave in between his laughter.

Kirana is getting more and more manyun. "I thought you were a stingy smile. But why do you laugh so often at me ?" Kirana.

Dave laughed again. "You don't know half-dead I hold my laugh when I see your stupid height." she joked.

Kirana immediately allowed the position to sit and leaned back in annoyance. "Yes, I'm stupid" he said angrily.

"Stupid, crybaby, spoiled." Dave chuckles.

Kirana looked at Dave with her eyebrows fused together, before she threw her face away.

"But kind and humble. Also very sincere and brave to take a stand." Dave says. Kirana turned to Dave, and found him smiling at her.

Kirana's face immediately blushed. "Sokot know." Kirana sneers. In fact, he was just embarrassed that Dave praised him.

"You can be arrogant with everything you have. But this woman of mine, she's sitting on dirty ground and busy feeding and joking with wild cats that no one even looks at." Dave said still with a genuine smile.

"Da, how do you know I like feeding feral cats ?" kirana asked after she was able to dampen her nervousness.

Dave chuckles. "I know everything." he said.

Kirana's lips immediately pursed. Dave's laughter grew even more chuckling. "It turns out that besides eating, you're also talented as a comedian, Kirana." Dave's laughter grew louder.

That day Dave and Kirana were getting better at their relationship. No one is selfish if we love each other. Such is the expression that describes the constancy of their feelings.

The bad news about Kirana soon subsides after Jonathan gives her clarification and may be deliberately harassing the woman from the actress to obscure her relationship with Kirana.

Shopie, who was supposed to be in prison for ten years according to Kirana's father's guidance, got leniency because Kirana who repeatedly pleaded with her Daddy to pity Shopie who had once been close to their family.

Thanks to the sophistication of Korean laser technology. In just a few times the scratch wound treatment on Kirana's right cheek faded and only a thin mark was left that could be covered with make up. The memories of a lifetime that Kirana will never forget.

And after almost a month everything started to go back to normal. At the suggestion of Dave and Kirana, the Marthadinata and Sanjaya families gather.
