The pillow and doll throwing activities of the two people immediately stopped when Dave entered and put the tray containing the noodle bowl on the nightstand.
Both Kirana and Jonathan looked at him.
"Mother who makes." said her with a flat face and immediately left without permission.
"Are you really brothers...?" Jonathan said after Dave's back was not seen. "There's really no manners." he clucked in annoyance.
Kirana silently did not respond, she was downcast with a reddened face remembering her wild dream with Dave.
"Mom made you Kirana's instant noodles." Jonathan had taken the bowl of noodles and intended to feed the girl who was still quietly bowed.
"I'm lazy to eat." Kirana refused as Jonathan would feed the spoonful of vegetables and noodles towards her.
"Come on..you like instant noodles the most, right...??" Jonathan was still trying to thrust the spoon.
Kirana was biting her lower lip, actually she was hungry too, but considering everything that Dave said to her was frustrating, making her even reluctant to see the faces of her parents.
"One bribe." Jonathan says.
Kirana was still looking at him.
"Hurmer expands her noodles." in the sodorkan again the spoon was closer to the mouth of the girl with her long hair loosely severed and still wearing sleeping pajamas with an infusion hose attached to the back of her right hand.
Reluctantly finally Kirana was willing to open her mouth, she was silent for a moment while chewing noodles with a sauce that felt warm in her throat. "Why does it feel different...??" he asked in his heart.
"Why..?" Jonathan who today wears a dark blue t-shirt and black jeans looks at Kirana who is like thinking of something.
"No." kirana answered quickly. "Give me, I eat it myself." Without waiting for Jonathan's approval, Kirana just took the white bowl of porcelain under which he gave a cloth coaster so as not to heat up.
"You're starving, huh...??" Jonathan chuckled as he saw his future fiance eating voraciously, even drinking the noodle soup straight from his bowl.
"It tastes different, even if it's a vegetable, but it's better." Kirana said honestly while giving the empty bowl to Jonathan, who then put it on the nightstand.
"Let's just say you've been holding hunger because of prestige all along." Jonathan gave a glass of water to Kirana who immediately drank half, then returned it to Jonathan and then put it on the nightstand with the empty bowl.
"Every night I was really sick and I didn't know" said Kirana, irritated as she wiped her mouth with the back of her left hand.
Jonathan laughed again at Kirana's cute expression in his eyes.
"So..why did you get drunk...?" jonathan's white, narrow-eyed face looked at him seriously.
Kirana pursed her lips with a frown. "Surely Shopie" he said increasingly upset.
"Shopie's worried about you." Jonathan folded his hands on his chest and leaned his back against the edge of the headboard.
Kirana's face was instantly sour.
"What do you think of drinking like that...?" back Jonathan said. "Shopie called me because you didn't want to go home and just kept crying."
"You know, I canceled all my schedules as soon as Shopie called me and told me how you were doing." Jonathan says. "From the airport I called Shopie, and what I heard, you went to the club and got drunk there." Jonathan's normally gentle face full of smiles as he looked at her, now looked angry.
"You don't have to worry about me." Kirana looked away with her frown that was still wrinkled.
Jonathan pulled Kirana's arm in annoyance, making the girl startled and turned her head towards him. "Is it because we're in a match, that your attitude changes like this to me...?" his narrowed, black-brown eyes were staring at Kirana sharply. "You've changed your appearance like this, so I can stay away from you...??" her tan made Kirana's bright brown eyes round.
"Who said..." Kirana tries to dodge, but Jonathan holds her shoulders so that she faces him straight.
"Look, if you want to change your appearance like anything, it won't change how I feel about you" Jonathan said, making Kirana's cheeks flushed, the distance of their faces was only 2 feet and Kirana could see the solemnity of the two eyeballs belonging to the Man.
He looked away with an uncertain feeling.
"I've liked you since we were kids, so there's no matchmaking, I'll still make you my wife." Jonathan said back.
She reached out her right hand to reach Kirana's cheek for the girl to look at, and she smiled as the beautiful eyeball-colored eyes looked at her. "I don't know what it's like to get drunk like that, but if you say, you're not the kid you want, believe me...that's just some bullshit that someone said with the intention of ruining your family's happiness."
...----------------...
Dave who was wearing his old ash T-shirt in double black suit had been sitting with his graceful grandmother with a white kebaya top with a subordinate batik skirt.
They sit on the row of bench number 2 from the front, watching the ballet show Angela who looks so graceful and animates her role in the black swan as Odette and Odile at once.
"Look, beautiful and very talented your cast is." Erika whispers in Dave's ear." She can play two different characters so slickly, Grandma is so proud of her." she praised.
"Yes, Grandma..." Dave smiled, making his grandmother who still looks fit at the age of 8 was staring at him.
"Why is it..?" it says. "Praise him." continued Erika.
"Emmm.yes." Dave looks awkward.
"My granddaughter..." The woman with her face that was already wrinkled but still looked beautiful with her red lipstick was stroking the back of Dave's hand. "Why say yes again...?" he smiled amusedly, making DaVe's eyes round and then lowered his head.
In the great Hall there is a magnificent stage that is taking place ballet performances with Angela as the main female actor, and there lined the chairs from the VVIP class until the regular filled with the audience.
"You're happy to stay with your Daddy...?" asked Erika again, making Dave look back at her. "I'm sorry Grandma bothered you to see Angela's show, but when else would Grandma ask if not now...?" it says.
"Yes, Grandma..." Dave smiled at the sign no problem. "...I'm happy to live with Dad." he said.
"Thank God you're happy." Erika patted Dave's back gently with a smile on her. "Since childhood you always say yes, yes, and even to the big you still say yes." His grandmother said. "But you dared to come out with your own opinion and beat your Grandfather, surely because you were so eager to stay with your Daddy."
Dave was just silent with his face bowed towards his Grandma.
"Your grandfather was a hard man, but it was Grandma who knew best how much he was sorry for you." Erika holds Dave's right palm with both hands. "What Grandma wants to tell you, what has happened let it happen...Your Mommy and Daddy are separated, even though your Mommy chose to live alone, but your Daddy already has a Family, and Grandma knows his wife is a good person..." Erika paused for a moment, looking at the face of her only granddaughter from her lineage who was very difficult to have children with.
The sound of classical music is melodious, Angela who dances so gracefully is not visible in Dave's eyes even though now the man directs his gaze straight towards the stage.
"...Don't have feelings of hate or resentment in your heart because of your Mommy and Daddy divorce." Erika again said as she stroked the back of Dave's hand. "Your grandfather is old, it's hard for Grandma to nasehati any number of times, but you're young and Grandma hopes your Grandpa's stoic attitude doesn't go down to you."
