Substitute Husband

Section 75

In a room, Agnes helps Kenneth change clothes.

"You shouldn't have to be like that. If he doused me I'd definitely reply."

Kenneth hugged Agnes, "no one should bother you but me."

Agnes smiled, "thank you, you've stood up for me."

Agnes tightened her embrace, Agnes closed her eyes feeling the warmth of Kenneth's embrace.

Agnes's phone rang, Agnes was startled and took off her hug. Agnes grabbed her bag, pulled out her phone. Agnes gets a call from Ben, Agnes looks at Kenneth and receives Ben's call.

(Conversations on the phone)

"Hallo, Pa?" Agnes answered, taking a call.

"Agnes, where are you?" Ask Ben.

"I accompanied Ken to change clothes in the dressing room. What's the matter, Pa?"

"Oh, there's nothing. It's just that Papa wants to know where you are."

"We're done Pa, we'll see Papa soon. Sorry to bother Papa to keep Kenzo."

Agnes ended Ben's call. Kenneth held onto Agnes' hand and asked.

"What's wrong?" Ask Kenneth.

"Nothing, maybe Kenzo's been acting. It's just that Papa refuses to talk. Come on quick, we gotta get back."

Agnes put her phone in the bag. And brought another bag of dirty Kenneth clothes. Agnes and Kenneth were together out of the dressing room. They walked towards the main hall to continue the unfinished feast.

In the room, Clarya slammed everything. Clarya ravaged her room. Clarya was upset, Clarya was irritated.

"Agnes s*lan! I'll really destroy you later. Don't you think I don't dare you."

Clarya flattened all the decorations on her desk. Some of the decorations fell to the floor and pacah. Clarya continues to curse Agnes, Clarya really wants to get rid of Agnes.

Clarya clenched her hands, "just look, I will eliminate you! Agnes, Agnes, you don't know who Clarya is yet. You can be arrogant, when your eyes are closed forever can you still talk? That's when I'll be Mrs Alexander. Whatever happens, I have to have Kenneth."

Clarya caught her breath, trying to calm herself down. Clarya will be bad when angry, Clarya is not satisfied if it has not made the room or room into disarray. Clarya stepped into the bathroom, Clarya wanted to take a bath and soak in warm water. Clarya wanted to calm down and draw up her plan.

The party is over. As they return home, Kennet and Agnes meet Othniel and Jesika. They greet each other.

"Hallo Kenzo's. Wow getting handsome," praises Jesika when she sees Kenzo being carried by Agnes.

"Thank you Auntie Jesi," Agnes answered representing Kenzo.

Kenneth approached and saw Sarah, "hi Sarah. I haven't seen Uncle in a long time. You don't miss?" Kenneth smiled as he stroked Sarah's head.

Sarah smiled at Kenneth as if responding to Kenneth's words. Othniel and Jesika looked at each other, as if they were gesturing to each other. They want to question the previous incident, where there is a mysterious woman who claimed to be close to Kenneth.

Kenneth turned his gaze to Othniel and Jesika who were staring at each other. Kenneth felt something was wrong.

"What's wrong? Why are you staring at each other like that?" Kenneth asked Othniel and Jesika.

"Ehem..," Othniel cleared his throat, "this is Ken, Agnes, sorry if my question would be offensive. When you left after congratulating us, the woman complained to us. She said Kenneth was her man."

"Ah, the face of the wall?" Answer Agnes.

Jesika and Othniel looked back at each other and nodded at the same time.

"Sorry Agnes if you're offended. We just want to convey what we hear. Who's that woman?" Jesika asked inquisitively.

"She is Clarya Robie. That woman came from where she suddenly teased me and seduced me. I rejected him and he still tried to get close to me. He also bullied Agnes" Kenneth explained.

"You should be careful if that's Ken. Believing in disbelief, usually such a woman would do anything for her purpose. He could be doing crazy or dangerous things. You must be able to take care of yourself" Othniel said.

"Thank you Othnie, we'll remember what you said. You're glad you want to remind us" replied Agnes smiling.

"Yes, equally. I hope we're all always away from the bad and we're always happy."

"Hopefully, we'll be home early in the afternoon. We'll send your presents tomorrow. Do not refuse what we give. Okay?" Kenneth.

"Don't make me wonder, tell me what the prize is?" Ask Othniel.

"What yes? Hm.., it is possible that after receiving our gift, Sarah will have a sister. Isn't that Ken?" Agnes looked at Kenneth. Agnes and Kenneth tease Othniel.

Othniel frowned digesting Agnes' speech. Othniel was confused, not understanding Agnes's intentions. So did Jesika, Othniel and Jesika can only guess what Kenneth and Agnes will give. Kenneth and Agnes finally left after saying goodbye.

Ben and Alea were in the car in the parking lot. They saw Agnes and Kenneth waving at Jesika and Othniel. Kenneth, Agnes and Kenzo got into the car and sped away. So did Othniel, Jesika, and Sarah who got into the car and left the building where the wedding was held.

"We're not going home? Still waiting for what?" Alea asked Ben.

Ben meghela breaths, "waiting for information."

Alea did not understand what information her husband was waiting for. Alea could only wait as Ben did.

Tock....

Tock....

The windshield on tap, Ben lowers the windshield and sees the man standing outside his car.

"Sir..," he said to Ben.

Someone bent her body, "the woman you see with Miss is Clarya Robie. Single daughter Charlie Robie. From childhood Charlie spoils Clarya, so that she cannot resist all of Clarya's wishes. Clarya wanted to get close to Mr. Kenneth, came to Mr. Kenneth's office last week and teased Mr. Kenneth. Looks like Clarya wants to shift Miss, sir."

Someone told me all the information he got. Upon hearing the information, not knowing why Alea had suddenly become nervous. Ales clenched both hands on his lap. It was like something was hiding.

"Who is Charlie Robie? I've never heard of Robie's name in this town. He's definitely not an ordinary person, investigate him."

"Charlie Robie is an overseas businesswoman. He lived out of town when he came to England, and the company in England was just starting out. His business here does not surf its center abroad. Therefore they are trying to approach big companies to work together. That's probably what prompted Clarya to throw herself at Mr. Kenneth."

"Oh, so! Find out who Charlie Robie is. His family, his background, everything. Let no one be missed. I want to know the results tomorrow morning, you understand?" Ben said with a cold look at someone outside his car.

Someone nodded his head, "good sir. I'll do as you command."

"Go!" Ben re-raises the windshield, "let's go, '" Ben orders the driver.

Ben sat quietly, Alea still looked agitated. Cold sweat came out wetting his forehead. Ben looked at the nervous Alea asking.

"What's up, Alea? Are you sick?" Ask Ben.

Alea looked down, "it's okay. I'm fine."

"What's wrong with Alea?" Ben's guman in the heart.

"How is this, why did he have to reappear? Charlie Robie, do you still want to find me? Clarya..., is she not my daughter I left behind? Oh no, how did this all happen?

If Clarya is my daughter, I will be destroyed. Ben would be mad at me. No, I have to go see Charlie and ask him for an explanation!" Alea said in his heart.

Throughout the journey Alea thought about her past. The past that always haunts her, the past that always kept her close, will eventually be seen by her husband. Alea was anxious, Alea really wanted to be happy and forget about her dark past.
