Section 44

Several hours asleep, Agnes was awake from her sleep. Agnes got up slowly and sat down against the pillow. Agnes felt very tired, her head felt heavy.

Klekka..

Agnes's bedroom door opened, Othniel entered carrying a tray. Othniel closed the door, walking closer to Agnes.

"You awake?" Othniel asked, sitting by the bed. Put a tray on the table next to the bed.

"I why? My head is dizzy, it feels heavy." Agnes replied in a soft voice.

"Eat first, after eating I'll tell you something." Answer Othniel.

Agnes nodded, "yes, I'll eat." The answer.

Othniel smiled, picked up the bowl and began to feed Agnes. Agnes was reluctant, Agnes refused Othniel's help.

"I can eat myself Othie, don't be like this." Agnes took over the bowl of porridge from Othniel's hand.

Othniel stroked Agnes' head, "that's funny, you're still so distasteful to me." Othniel.

Agnes lowered her head, eating the porridge greedily. Agnes just kept quiet and focused on eating the porridge in the bowl she was holding.

After she finished eating, Agnes placed the bowl on the tray. Othniel asked Agnes to take the medicine and water she provided. Agnes complies and performs at Othniel's request.

Agnes looked at Othniel, her brown eyes staring curiously at Othniel. "Now can you say what's going on? Am I sick? Why should I take medicine." Ask Agnes.

Othniel took a deep breath, then exhaled slowly. "Agnes, you'll soon be a mother." Answer Othniel.

Agnes was shocked, her eyes were round. Agnes then felt her fear, her tears immediately fell without being asked. "I'm pregnant?" Agnes asked again. "Pregnant? How could? It was just last night.no way.." Agnes mere**s blanket.

Othniel held Agnes' hand. "Agnes. calm yourself down. Remember there's a fetus in your stomach. Don't cry too much, okay?" Othniel tried to give an explanation.

"I gotta how's Othie?" Agnes looked at Othniel and cried. "I have to what? Me and Ken are separated, how could it be like this? I was pregnant when Ken and I were apart." Agnes was crying out loud.

Othniel hugged Agnes, "Agnes is calm! Don't cry anymore. I understand how you feel, please calm down." Othniel tried to calm Agnes.

Agnes was still crying, Agnes clutching Othniel's clothes. Agnes does not think that she will become pregnant, Agnes thinks that her relationship with Ken is over. But in fact the bond between the two is still connected to the presence of a fetus in Agnes' stomach.

Long Agnes wept in Othniel's arms, Finally her crying came to a halt. Agnes took off a hug wiping her tears.

"You can leave me alone? I want a break." Agnes said in a hoarse voice.

Othniel nodded, "okay. rest! Just tell me if you want anything." Answer Othniel.

Othniel stood up, picked up the tray and walked out of Agnes' room. Othniel opened the door and exited the room, Othniel again closed the door to Agnes' room.

Othniel walked towards the kitchen, not until his footsteps reached the kitchen, aunt Yoshima approached and took over the tray from Othniel's hands.

"Is the madam okay, sir?" Ask aunt Yoshima.

"Yes, I'll work for aunty. Please help me take care of Agnes." Othniel.

"Good sir." Answer aunt Yoshima kindly.

Othniel walked towards her study, Aunt Yoshima walked towards the kitchen to wash the dirty bowls and glasses.

Agnes was still sitting leaning back, rubbing her stomach. Agnes is no longer a man, but she thinks about what and how to go forward.

"Ken and I are over. How'this? I didn't expect you to leave a seed in my womb, Ken. Is this a sign that we are connected? But you also have children from being with other women. Fucking playboy! A good female player." Grieved Agnes.

Agnes silently thought, if aborting the content is impossible. Agnes did not want to be a murderer.

"I'm sorry dear mom, I don't want your dad to know if you exist. Mama will take care of you, mama will look after and protect you. Growing up healthy and strong baby, mama loves you." Agnes smiled.

In the end Agnes decided to keep her fetus. Agnes wants her pregnancy hidden from Kenneth, Agnes is afraid that until Kenneth finds out, Kenneth will take her child. Separating Agnes with her baby or Kenneth will disrupt Agnes' life again.

"I'll talk about this with Othniel later." Guman Agnes's.

Othniel is in his study. Othniel talks to Ben on a call. Othniel informs Ben of Agnes' condition.

(Conversations on the phone)

"So...?" Ask Ben to Othniel.

"Just calm down, I know how Agnes is. She won't just throw responsibility away, if it's true that Agnes is my daughter then Agnes will keep her baby despite having to endure the pain of facing reality." Ben's answer was full of conviction.

"Uncle is so sure? Even when I first heard this news Agnes looked very angry, uncle don't underestimate this." Othniel was panicked and anxious, being unsure of Ben's words.

Ben laughed, "hahaha.. Othnie, you don't know Agnes yet. Listen carefully, my daughter will not do anything unfortunate. Things like killing or aborting the womb, just look at her she'll definitely take care of the baby. If my guess isn't wrong he just wants you to keep it a secret from Ken. That's all, I don't know why my feelings say this. Don't panic and worry Othnie. Everything will be fine, please take care of Agnes for now. I still have business at the office these few days. I'll go to Japan and see you when this is done." Ben tried to calm the restless Othniel.

"Okay uncle, I understand. I'll take good care of Agnes. Uncle and aunt take care of their health. Call me if uncle and aunt are coming." Othniel answered who had calmed down.

"You take care of your health, too. Okay well? Uncle's gonna close his call." After speaking Ben disconnected his call.

Othniel took a long breath. "Hopefully what the uncle said was true, however innocent the baby was. This baby is a gift from God to Agnes, perhaps to treat Agnes's heartache due to her dispute with Ken." - Dr. Othniel.
