Substitute Husband

Section 68

Kenneth called Edward several times. Call ignored. Kenneth continued to try until it was finally accepted by Edward.

(Conversations on the phone)

"Hello, what's wrong? Who's there?" Edward answered with a heavy voice.

Kenneth frowned, "You're still on the bed?" Ask Kenneth.

"Yeah, Ken. You're disturbing my sleep. What's up?" Ask Edward.

"I need your help Ed, help me. I want to surprise my wife. Can you do some things for me?" Kenneth asked Edward again.

"Surprised? What surprise?" Ask Edward.

"Ah about that I'll send you a message, okay? I closed my call first" Kenneth said.

"Oh, okay," replied Edaward.

Upon hearing Edward's reply, Kenneth ended his call.

Kenneth sent Edward a message. Kenneth was so serious about typing his phone keyboard. After typing Kenneth sent his message.

Kenneth stared at the screen of his phone. There's a picture of him, Agens and Kenzo there. Kenneth smiled faintly at the photo of his wife and son.

The door to the room was knocked.

Tok

Tok

Tok

The door opened, someone entered the room. That person is none other than his Secretary.

The secretary walked over to Kenneth who was at his desk.

"I'm sorry to bother you, Director. I want to give you this" said the Secretary. The secretary placed an invitation on the table in front of Kennerh.

"Yes, you can leave if you have no business. Thank you" said Kenneth, who was still busy with a cell phone in his hand.

Kenneth saw the invitation on his desk. Kenneth took the invitation, and opened the invitation. Kenenth's lips developed a smile.

"You are finally married."

Kenneth stood up from his seat. Kenneth took the invitation with him. Kenneth stepped towards the break room, the door of the room opened by Kenneth slowly.

Inside the room were Agnes, and Kenzo who was sound asleep on the bed. Kenneth walked into the room, walking closer to Agnes and Kenzo. Kenneth sat on the edge of the bed, Kenneth stroking Agnes' hair gently. Kenneth's touch awakens Agnes from her dream.

"You done yet?" Ask Agnes.

Kenneth nodded, "already, I'm done."

Agnes smiled beautifully at Kenneth. Kenneth brought his face closer to Agnes, then kissed Agnes' forehead affectionately.

"You hungry? Want to eat what?" Ask Kenneth.

Agnes shook her head, "i'm not hungry," Agnes saw something in Kenneth's hands, "what is it? Like an invitation."

"Yes. It's Othniel and Jesika's wedding invitation."

"Oh, they're really going to get married. When will it take place?" Ask Agnes.

"Early next month" replied Kenneth.

Kenneth put down a bill at the table. Kenneth lay down next to Agnes. Kenneth hugged Agnes tightly.

"What's wrong? You're so spoiled."

"none. I just want to be like this."

Agnes smiled, looked at Kenzo and tidied up Kenzo's blanket. Agnes changed her sleeping position to face Kenneth. Agnes looked at Kenneth who closed his eyes. Agnes's hand gently touched Kenneth's face. Agnes touched every inch of her husband's face.

"You like me?" Kenneth asked without opening his eyes.

"Yes. I like it" replied Agnes.

"You love me?" Ask Kenneth again.

"Yes. I love you" replied Agnes without hesitation.

Kenneth opened his eyes slowly. His smile puffed up looking at Agnes. Kenneth kissed Agnes' forehead gently.

"I love you, love you, and love you with all my heart."

"That's sweet. You're good at seducing and teasing, baby" Agnes smiled shyly. Face blushing.

"Can I kiss you?" Ask Kenneth.

Agnes shook her head, "no."

"The answer is not that I am."

Kenneth grabbed the nape of Agnes' neck and gently kissed Aunt Agnes. A kiss of flash landed, Kenneth again dipped and took off, dipped and took off again. Kenneth did it several times to make Agnes' face more blushing.

"You embarrassed? Ah, you're like a teenager who just met first love."

"Ken, of course I'm ashamed. You're constantly peeping at my lips."

"Ah well, I'll just hug you."

"No. Go back to work. It's still not office hours" insisted Agnes.

"Who cares. This is my company, and I'm the director. Whatever I did no one dared to prevent it."

Agnes simply smiled, "alright, I admit defeat. Come on, hug me."

"It is with pleasure" replied Kenneth.

Kenneth hugged Agnes. Agnes rubbed Kenneth's back gently. They did not feel like they were asleep until the afternoon.

His afternoon....

Kenneth, Agnes and Kenzo prepare to return home.

On the way, before returning to the Mansion. Agnes asks Kenneth to stop by the Supermarket, to shop for Kenzo's needs. Kenneth nodded, agreeing with the request of his beloved wife.

"Agnes...."

"Yes?" Answer Agnes.

Agnes looked at Kenneth, "you? Invite me on a date? Ask Agnes.

"Yes, I want to spend a little time with you. I hope you don't mind" Kenneth was hopeful.

"Hmm, okay."

"Thank you, baby."

"Yes, you're welcome."

Kenneth was pleased. Didn't think that Agnes would actually accept his invitation.

20 Minutes passed, until they finally reached a supermarket. Kenneth parked his car. Kenneth and Agnes get out of the car together.

Kenneth took over Kenzo from Agnes' sling. Agnes and Kenneth walked together inside the supermarket.

Inside Agnes took a grocery basket. Agnes was busy picking Kenzo's necessities. Kenneth clutched tightly onto Kenzo's body. Occasionally kiss Kenzo's forehead and cheeks.

Look at the full shopping cart. Kenneth asks Agnes to look after Kenzo. Kenneth gives Kenzo to Agnes, Kenneth takes over carrying a fairly heavy basket.

"You just tell me what to buy. I'll get it."

"Okay" replied Agnes.

"Mmmmhh, hhhhmmmmhh," whined Kenzo.

"What's up, baby? You want something?" Ask Kenneth.

Kenneth came close and kissed Kenzo. Kenzo touched his Papa's face and laughed.

"Ahh, grab that biscuit and let's go to the cashier."

Kenenth nodded, picked up the biscuits and walked together closer to the cashier's desk. Kenzo looked at the cashier's maid, Kenzo developing his smile.

"It's funny."

"Thank you" replied Agnes.

"She's so adorable madam" added the cashier.

Agnes only laughed faintly at the compliment from the cashier's maid. The cashier counted the amount of Agnes' groceries and demanded payment. Kenneth voices his wallet and makes payments. The payment process is done, some time later the process is completed. Agnes and Kenneth left the cashier's desk.

Kenneth brings groceries and family from the supermarket with Agnes. Agnes got into the car, Agnes sat on Kenzo's back. Kenneth was still busy keeping the groceries they bought. Before long the steering-side car door opened, Kenneth entered and closed the car door.

Kenneth looked at Kenzo, rubbing Kenzo's head gently. Kenneth drives, bringing Agnes and Kenzo darting away back to the mansion.

Her night....

Kenneth and Agnes went to dinner together. As Kenneth requested, Kenzo was in the mansion guarded by Aunt Hana. Kenzo was already asleep when Kenenth and the Agens left.
