Section 20

The funeral ceremony took place, the roar of tears could not be dammed anymore. Agnes stared at Jimmy's tombstone.

"I'm sorry, I haven't been the perfect wife to you, Jimmy. You will always be a part of my life, I will live as you wish. Life is happy and well, I'll treat Kenneth well. That's all I can do for you. Goodbye Jimmy, I love you." Agnes spoke inwardly.

Kenneth stood far away from Agnes, staring in the same direction as Agnes. "Goodbye, I will always miss you." Kenneth spoke in his heart.

Not many words he said, Kenneth held back his tears to come out. His heart was tight, sick but not bleeding. The pain of loss, the tightness of hearing the sobs of her mother and her papa. Kenneth clenched both his hands trying to hold back.

After the last prayer and veneration the ceremony ends with a thank you to all who deign to be present following the procession of nutrition. The speech was delivered directly by both Kenneth and Jimmy's parents.

The funeral is over, everyone who comes disperse and return home. Both Jimmy and Kenneth's parents as well as Agnes's parents return home.

Agnes is still faithfully standing in front of Jimmy's headstone. Kenneth approached Agnes and whispered in Agnes' ear, "I'm waiting for you in the car. Don't whine and make my brother sad!" The cold sound of kenneth freezes Agnes' body.

Agnes silently did not speak and moved, Kenneth left Agnes. Kenneth walked into the parking lot, opened the car door and entered. Kenneth slowly closed the door.

Kenneth set his breath deeply, considering his status had already changed. Thinking, He was no longer someone who could be free, since he was already Agnes' husband. Agnes suddenly thought of something.

"Ah shit! What I was thinking. Who did Agnes manage me, wasn't I just my brother's SURROGATE HUSBAND? My own freedom I will decide. Nothing to do with Agnes, I'll do whatever I want." Kenneth Guman.

Kenneth sat back and waited for Agnes, Kenneth waited for a long time had almost 30 minutes passed, Agnes never came. Kenneth could not stand it, wanted to catch up with Agnes soon.

Just as Kenneth was about to open the door, Kenneth saw Agnes walking toward his car in a limp step. Kenneth paused his intention, returning to his original position.

Agnes opened the back door of the car and got into the car, Agnes closed the car door slowly. His face looked outwards, his gaze blank. Agnes was silent and said nothing.

"Where do you want me to take you?" Ask Kenneth without rambling.

"Go home! My mansion!" Said Agnes in a flat voice.

Kenneth frowned, "his mansion? Where is she living with her sister?" Inner Kenneth.

Kenneth was driving his car at an above average speed, the car was speeding towards Agnes' mansion.

After her marriage to Jimmy, Agnes separated and lived in her own mansion with Jimmy. Now Agnes returns to her mansion not with Jimmy, but with Kenneth. The brother of Jimmy.

In the course of Kenneth and Agnes keeping quiet, there was no sound or complaint whatsoever. Kenneth dissolved in his own mind but was still focused on driving. Agnes kept thinking about what was going on, Jimmy was no more. Will Kenneth really be reliable? Can you protect and take care of it? Is Kenneth going to be the one to accept him as sincerely and wholeheartedly as Jimmy?

Kenneth's car went into the courtyard of the mansion. Kenneth parked his car and got out of the car, Agnes also got out and immediately walked into the mansion.

Kenneth and Agnes go inside together. The waiter came to greet, "miss, sir welcome." Maid.

Kenneth put on a flat face, Agnes sighed in Kenneth's hand. "Ken, I need to talk to you. Come to my workroom." Take Agnes with hasty steps.

Kenneth follows Agnes without rejection, they walk quickly and enter Agnes' den. Agnes let go of Kenneth's hand and looked at Kenneth.

"Don't be cold to my servants, they're all good. I hope you understand Ken." Agnes kept staring at Agnes.

Kenneth smiled faintly pulling Agnes closer. Kenneth gripped Agnes' chin, "you rule me? Who you dare to rule me! Look carefully, Agnes, I did replace my sister. But I'm not Jimmy, I'll never be interested in you!" Kenneth spoke in a cold and cynical manner.

Agnes was not surprised, because from the beginning already knew how the nature and attitude of Kenneth to her. Agnes was only silent without refuting, she could fight back because of her different status. Now Kenneth is her husband, and Jimmy asks Agnes to look after and accept Kenneth as if she were accepting Jimmy.

Agnes shed tears, seeing Agnes Kenneth's tears become irritated. Kenneth removed his grip and turned his face away.

"I don't want to be called oppressive, don't ever cry in front of me! I'll have the waiter prepare the room, you go back to your room and rest. Don't let my brother not calm down and scold me in my dreams." Kenneth turned around and walked out of Agnes' study.

Agnes bowed her head and cried, her fingers clenched. Agnes understood next would be many things like this could even be worse than this. Kenneth clearly hated Agnes. No matter how the promise must be kept, Agnes promises Jimmy. To treat Kenneth well, treat Kenneth like he's treating Jimmy.

Agnes lifted her head and wiped her tears, trying to strengthen the stool. "Remember your promise Agnes, you must be strong in the face of Kenneth's attitude like that." Agnes said in her heart.

Agnes came out of the study, called one of her housemaids and asked Kenneth where he was.

"Bi, where's Kenneth?" Ask Agnes.

"Madam, sir asked us to clean the other room. And change all the pads and blankets." Answer waiter.

"It's okay bi, do what he wants. Do not put it in the heart if his attitude is not good, his words are not good at hearing. To be honest he just doesn't like me, not dislike you. I'm sorry aunt.." Agnes left her servant and returned to her room.

The servant was shocked by Agnes' revelation. The servant looked at his master's back in anguish, as if understanding his master's words, feeling a deep sadness. Feel helplessness and disappointment.

Agnes felt sad, approached and felt the photo. Agnes tears spilled back, overflowing wet her face.

"Can I? Am I willing to go through this? Your sister hates me so much, she really doesn't like me. How am I supposed to survive Jimmy? Tell me how?" Agnes screamed softly, clenching her hands eagerly angry.
