Section 45

Nightfall..

After dinner, Agnes and Othniel went for a walk in the front yard. Othniel invited Agnes to sit in a chair under a shady tree.

"How are you doing? Is it better?" Ask Othniel.

Agnes nodded, "i'm fine Ottie. Don't worry."Agnes replied with a beautiful smile.

Othniel was happy to see Agnes who was smiling beautifully. "You look happy, your face is radiant." Praise Othniel.

"Otnie, there's something I want to tell you. I'll take care of my baby, please don't let Ken know I'm pregnant with her. Okay?" Agnes spoke without hesitation.

Othniel was surprised, Agnes' words sounded like Ben's. Othniel is happy, if in the end Agnes wants to maintain and care for the baby later.

"you mean? You want me to shut up? Didn't tell Ken, you were carrying her child?" Othniel repeated Agnes' words.

Agnes nodded, "yes, you know, we're separated! And I just found out that if I get pregnant after the divorce, I don't want to ruin Ken's happiness with his girlfriend. Let this be our secret." Said Agnes, looking up at the night sky.

Othniel embraces Agnes, "okay, I'll keep this a secret. Promise me you'll always be healthy, watch and protect your baby." Othniel stroked Agnes' hair.

"Of course, I have to be a strong mama for my son. I'll raise her well, guard her and protect her." Agnes answered excitedly.

"Good! Come on in and get some sleep. It's getting late, tomorrow I'll take you for a walk." Othniel invited Agnes to rest because the night was getting late.

Agnes stood up followed by Othniel, "okay. come on.." replied Agnes.

Agnes and Othniel entered the house. They walked to their bedrooms to rest.

The day passed well, it did not feel two months already Agnes was in Japan. Othniel has calmed down. Agnes looks happy and is getting used to living her life. Every morning Othniel would go to work and would go home in the afternoon, but occasionally during the day Othniel would sometimes go home. Enjoyed lunch with Agnes.

That afternoon Agnes gets a surprise, Ben and Alea come. Agnes is happy and hugs Ben as well as Alea in turn.

"Papa.. Agnes misses mom and dad." Agnes shed tears.

"Sorry, papa can come Agnes. Papa's busy with work, how are you? You healthy? Papa's happy to be holding a grandchild." Ben stroked Agnes' stomach, Agnes smiled.

"Papa, you're keeping my secret, aren't you?" Ask Agnes in a soft voice.

"Honey, papa and mamam keep it a good secret. Okay well? Ken and his family no one knows." Answer Alea.

Alea lied, actually besides Othniel, Ben and Alea, Elmia also knew about Agnes' pregnancy. But Elmia promised not to reveal this secret before there was an order from Ben.

Alea knew that Ben loved Elmia long before Alea got to know Ben. Alea doesn't hate Elmia, because Elmia is Ben's past. Ben and Elmia have built their own household ark. Alea believes that Ben will only distort the past and will not go back in time.

Ben has never done anything wrong. Never act out of bounds and be careless. Ben always thinks far ahead always thinking the consequences of all his actions. Although Alea does not know how important he is for Ben, Alea is convinced, Ben will not make him disappointed and sad.

Seeing her mother (Alea) daydream, Agnes surprises Alea. "Mama." call Agnes to hold Alea's hand.

Alea nodded, looking at Agnes. "Ahhh i-iya dear, what's up?" Ask Alea.

"Mama's sick?" Ask Agnes.

Alea smiled, "sorry mama is daydreaming, mama misses you so much that she is silent to see you." Alea reasoned.

"Let's sit down and eat ma, papa too." Agnes invites Ben and Alea to sit down, for lunch together.

"Hallo aunty, uncle. Welcome to my residence, may my uncle and aunt be at ease." Othniel welcomes Ben and Agnes.

"Thank you Othniel, are you well?" Ask Agnes.

"Yes aunt, I'm healthy. Aunt also looks excited, the more beautiful." Praise Othniel.

"You're sweet-mouthed Othniel. Thanks for your compliment." Alea answered with a smile.

"If you come home in the afternoon? Not working?" Ask Ben.

"If I have free time in the afternoon, I'll have lunch at uncle's house. It just so happened that today I had no meetings or other important matters, so I went home and accompanied Agnes to lunch. If it's busy Agnes will only have lunch alone." Othniel explained.

Ben smiled, "you've really taken good care of Agnes, these two months Othniel. I'm sorry to bother you, Agnes is being nice, right?" Ben looked at Agnes, intending to tease Agnes.

Othniel looked at Agnes and smiled, "haha, uncle, do not tease her or I will be thrown with apples. Agnes is good uncle, Agnes is also a good mother-to-be for her baby-to-be. He's taking good care of his health." Othniel praised Agnes' efforts.

"It's all because of you, Othnie, thank you for taking care of me for these two months." Agnes said thank you.

"Don't hesitate, you're like my own sister Agnes. You have to stay strong and strong for your baby." Othniel has always given support and encouragement to Agnes.

Ben was happy, looking at Alea beside him. Secretly holding Alea's hand under the table, Ben was pleased Agnes looked better and was not moody anymore. Although in his heart there was still a remnant of regret and restlessness of heart.

2 months ago from Agnes, Kenneth returned to live his life. Kenneth also struggled to achieve his success. Kenneth slowly got up, Kenneth put in a lot of effort in his work. Kenneth wants his papa company to be better and grow.

Two months of not meeting Agnes a sense of longing slowly struck. Kenneth Madih secretly keeps a photo of Agnes in his phone.

If you feel homesick, Kenneth will speak for himself with a photo of Agnes. Clamoring, asking, Kenenth sometimes answers the questions she asks herself.

Kenneth sat on the couch and stared at the photo of Agnes on her phone. "You okay? I miss you, I want to see you. But I doubt whether you want to see me or not. I heard the news that if you're out of the country, is that true? You really want to forget me? Agnes... have you forgotten me? You're with that guy?" Kenneth said, imagining the last time he saw Agnes with Othniel.

Kenneth laughed, his tears falling down. "Haha.I'm so stupid! I did what I shouldn't have done. Ken. you're so stupid!" Kenneth was self-deprecating. Kenneth still feels guilty for Agnes.

Kenneth wiped his tears, feeling something. Kenneth felt nauseous wanting to vomit, Kenneth ran towards the bathroom. In the bathroom Kenneth spewed out all the food in his stomach.

10 Minutes later, Kenneth came out of the bathroom. Kenneth washed his mouth and face with a towel.

"My stomach's like it's being stirred." Complain Kenneth.

"Two months I've had occasional dizziness and vomiting, am I sick? Any problems with my digestive organs?" Kenneth muttering.

Kenneth's apartment bell rang, someone's coming. Kenneth walked limply closer to the door to open the door.

The door opened, Elmia came to see Kenenth.

"Mama" said Kenneth.

"Ken, is mama interrupting?" Ask Elmia.

"No ma, come in. I'm not busy, mama don't yell at me." Answer Kenneth.

Elmia walked in, took off her shoes and walked towards the living room. Kenenth closed the door, following Elmia in the living room.

"Want to drink something?" Ask Kenneth.

"No, have you eaten Ken?" Elmia asked, asking back.

"Hmm, yes ma. I just regurgitated all my stomach contents." Answer Kenneth limp.

"You sick, son? Are you all right?" Elmia, anxious, approached Kenneth and checked Kenneth's body temperature.

"I'm good ma, I don't know why my body feels weird. I sometimes get dizzy and nauseous, sometimes my body feels weak and tired quickly. I always keep my sleep patterns, I also reduce my night activities. But I still feel like my body is not powered." Kenneth complained to Elmia.

Elmia rubbed Kenneth's hair, "mama will cook for you. Are there any vegetables?" Elmia looked at Kenneth.

"Kenneth shook his head, "no ma. ahh, you make me a vegetable salad and cut an apple for me." Kenneth smiled spoiledly.

Elmia frowned, "vegetable salad? An apple? Don't you like vegetable salads and apples? Because you choked on apples when you were a kid, so you don't want to eat apples anymore. Now you want mama to peel the apples? " Elmia was astonished, not understanding the state of her son.

"Ken told me ma, this is weird. Yesterday Ken went to the supermarker and saw Apple as well as fresh vegetables, without thinking Ken bought them. Ken even ate 2 apples today." Kenneth's reply further astonished Elmia.

Agnes sits sweetly at the dinner table, asking for a peeled apple. Alea peeling an apple for her beloved daughter.

"You okay, honey? Did you spit out all your food?" Ask Alea.

Agnes nodded, "yes ma. I spit it all out, now I'm hungry to eat vegetable salad and apples. Mama I've got a lot of apples for me." Said Agnes glad to see the Apples in Alea's hands.

Alea smiled, "yes, mama will peel a lot for you. Eating a lot of yes, for some people early in pregnancy does make it difficult, feel dizzy, nausea, vomiting and picky food. There are also those from the beginning of pregnancy to childbirth there are no complaints, whatever you have to live dear. Youunderstand? This is the beginning of the struggle of a mother of my daughter, any mother fighting for their child-to-be. Pregnant, giving birth, caring for and raising their children. There will be no word of tiredness for a mother when caring for their baby." Alea explained, Alea gave some pictures and directions to Agnes.

"Thank you ma, my mom is pregnant, giving birth and taking care of me. I finally understood how difficult it was to be a mother. Forgive Agnes if in the past Agnes did not want to hear your words. Agnes loves mama." Said Agnes in a hoarse voice.

Alea placed the knife and the apple fruit on the plate. Alea hugged Agnes and was affectionate. Alea was moved by Agnes' words.
