Confused, how could the apprentice who should have known me so well and was tasked with guarding me forget myself? Is Mbah Siji too angry with me for what happened to Grandma Ratih and her daughter?
My body was stiff, I don't know how much time I spent thinking? Before long, I heard the sound of crying from a mother followed by several others who called out the name of someone I did not recognize.
"Navio ... Ariston ... Amanda ... " cried the young lady wearing the wavy yellow-haired t-shirt. I stared at the watch, it turned out that this was almost entering magrib time.
"Navio ... Ariston ... Amanda ..." said a young man who appeared to be sweating from a distance on the other side of the road.
"Navio ... Ariston ... Amanda .... " shouted another group of 5 members. Consists of 2 elderly people, two young people and one girl around the age of 20 years.
Actually I don't want to know and interfere for fear of being wrong. But the tears of the young woman who was about 29 years old who walked looked tired made me rethink to be indifferent to others and circumstances.
"Sorry, what's wrong?" ask him who looks desperate and tired.
"Sir, have you seen my daughter, Amanda? He was very young, about 3 years old. His hair is short and curly and ... and he's wearing a Micky mouse suit navy blue?" he said with a trembling voice.
"I haven't seen a child like that since standing in this place. What's going on?"
"So our family was relaxing in the park there" he said, pointing to the city park. "Then about half an hour ago, we lost Amanda" she said with tears streaming down.
"Aren't anyone watching that little girl?"
"I think he's still playing with us. But when we started laughing out loud and telling a lot of things, it was our view was diverted and Amanda was playing alone with the ball" explained the woman who turned out to be the mother of the poor girl.
"All right, I'll help. Take me to the first place you all get together!"
"Newly good, Ma'am," said the woman who seemed to believe me. His eyes were hopeful, perhaps he also felt that his daughter could not just leave or disappear for no reason.
"Come, Ma'am," he said as if inviting me to move faster.
Other than me and this woman, it turned out that the man who was most likely the father of Amanda as well as one other group in a different direction of the road, immediately turned towards the direction they had first gathered.
The first thing I saw when I stepped on my feet on the neatly arranged green grass was a fairly large, pink-colored ball with large specks. If there was Feli here, everything would be easier, I said in my heart while holding and watching the ball.
"Where are you all gathering?"
"There, Ma'am."
I immediately walked faster towards the location directed by the woman. Arriving there, I still saw a lot of food on the blue plastic carpet.
"Last I saw Amanda, she was playing there" said one girl, pointing to the center of the flower garden.
I quickly moved to where Amanda was last to play. Upon arrival in the middle of the flower garden, I began to smell the scent of blood. To me, it's a very pungent scent. As for others, perhaps this was just like the smell of ordinary rancid.
"Look of blood" I said, closing my nostrils with my right hand.
"What, Ma'am? ask those who listen to my words that accidentally slide out of my mouth. "Oh my goodness, how is this? Do we have to go to the police right now? the woman seemed to be panicking.
"Just a second! If within 1 x 60 minutes we can't find Amanda, we'll report to the authorities," I feel that this is the work of astral beings so I am so sure that Amanda will not be found in a way beyond the supernatural.
"Well, ma'am" said the woman in a state of panic and I could see the overwhelming fear inside her wet eyes.
I began to follow the direction of the sharp smell of rancid in my nose. A few steps led me to a much sharper scent than before. This makes me even more convinced that Amanda is with a popular figure in Indonesia.
20 Minutes down a different street from where Amanda's family was looking for her. It went into the city park much deeper and it turned out that we were passing through some big shady trees.
"It's not part of the city park anymore. Then how can Amanda play this far?" ask Amanda's father who looks surprised.
"Think for yourself the answer! One more thing, if we manage to find that poor girl, then you guys should promise to really take care of her and take good care of her. Don't just chat and ignore the children you bring because they are very vulnerable to anything, even things you can't see" I said in a loud, snapping tone.
All the faces that had been raised were full of confusion, now looking down full of fear and regret. I'm sure they know their negligence and wrongdoings because a little kid like Amanda, is unable to detect the threat coming from inside her.
When I looked to the left and there was a shady yellow bamboo tree, I saw a very terrible figure with messy hair and a long looking chest almost touching the center.
The figure hugged the petite body of a girl with her right hand looking tight, while her left hand covered her mouth.
I looked at the creature with a sharp gaze full of anger and it seemed that the creature realized the meaning of my gaze. Before long, the ugly creature said something that silenced my cruel gaze.
"Let her be for me. With them, he's very tormented." Then the creature moved its hand around the little girl's belly so I could see the bruise on Amanda's hand.
"What did you guys do to Amanda?" ask me who switched eyes. Even my sharp gaze was no longer on the creature, but on Amanda's family especially her father and mother.
"You mean, Mommy?" ask Amanda's mother who is still confused and frightened.
"Honest you! What have you guys done with Amanda's head?" ask me one more time. I'm not stupid." I said as I clasped both my hands tightly.
"We don't understand" said another family and I'm sure they were Amanda's grandparents.
"Don't understand or or pretend not to understand?" ask me without polite greeting language because it's emotional." At that moment, everyone fell silent and looked at me with a look of fear.
"I saw clearly that Amanda's hand was bruised and I'm sure it was human."
"It's all because of me. Amanda plays a company important document, so I hit her. Anyway, I don't want a daughter."
"Well, what is it to be sought for? Just let Amanda stay here and die." Then I left the family at a quick pace.
"No, wait! I beg ..." said Amanda's mother who almost kowtowed to me.
I immediately raised the body of a woman much older than myself. After all, I am just a human being and do not deserve to be treated like God. "Don't bow down to me! I will be the one who sins because of your actions," I said because I no longer want to speak polite at this time.
"Please .. I promise, if my husband can't change his attitude, then I will ask for a divorce from him. Ma'am, I'm the one who's been looking after her since the womb. I've given everything to Amanda and I can't live without my daughter either" she said with tears that drenched almost half her face.
"You sure?"
"Yes, all this time I was very afraid of my husband and I was also afraid of being divorced, so all this time I was always silent when he hit or yelled and locked Amanda in a dark warehouse. Not anymore, I promise. I'd rather lose her than lose my daughter."
"Rose!!" snapped the man who had often tortured the tania. The rest of the family could only cry.
"It should be that in this day and age, no human being thinks that boys and girls are different. Moreover, the Prophet Muhammad has changed everything and in the brightly lit world as it is today, the importance of girls and boys is the same."
"Don't corner me!" ketus.
"You did not live in Jahiliyah's time, where girls were killed alive. Who knows about destiny? Now you do look dashing, healthy and amazing. But what about the next 20 years? When you can no longer stand on your feet? It could be the daughter that you never considered that will be the support for you to stand, live, even to eat and die. Don't be so haughty, sir," I said with trembling lips.
"Enough!"
"Or what if God does not believe in you two anymore and does not give you offspring after that child? While on the other hand, you continue to hurt, torture, even for a long time the little girl can also die from the pain she suffered and after that, you two have nothing. Then at the same time, you think of remarrying, like that there is a man who has power and feels he is great. You may have forgotten that torment and karma exist. Don't let it happen to you, and then you regret and beg for forgiveness."
Everyone was silent, they locked their mouths tightly and here it was as if I was the one in charge. Though I was just a stranger who was so angry when I saw a small figure get hurt. When I saw Amanda's hand, I suddenly imagined Tania's body was bruised by the actions of Aunt Rima and instantly my emotions exploded, as if I wanted to hit and even finish off the person who had hurt Amanda.
"I am ready to part with my husband if he is not willing to change his attitude towards my daughter" he said once again and this time he seemed convinced.
"good. I'll help."
Seriate.
