The air is not too hot, even though it is almost entering daylight. But as I gazed out, I could deduce that the sun started at its highest point.
Then I suddenly remembered Mbah Pecek who was out there. Could it be that he who enveloped this house like a cloud to lighten Grandma Ratih's burden? What a compact group.
O Allah ... they have hearts, I asked for voices while swallowing my heavy saliva. They protect each other and care about each other, then how can there be a human who is said to be perfect but able to kill other humans to achieve the purpose of his life?
"You drink sweet first" said Grandma Ratih with her face down.
"Yes, Grandma," I said, and I asked Feli to make me sweet tea in a large glass.
Actually I think Grandma Ratih is not worthy of being called Grandma because of the look on her face that still looks so young and she looks very beautiful.
Although his clothes looked dull and seedy, but his face was glowing. Then when I saw him, I looked at the moon in the dark of the night. I pray to God that I can still look at him until the end of my life because somehow I feel calm while doing it.
Before long Feli came by bringing me a large glass of warm sweet tea my order and I immediately drank it. I looked at Grandma Ratih with an erratic feeling, which obviously my heart started to unsettle.
"Lay down to make it easier for me."
"Well," said Uncle as he headed to a more spacious middle room.
"I tucked away my most precious treasure" Grandma Ratih said without looking me in the eye, but I knew that phrase was for me.
"Are you sure?" asked Mbah Siji who suddenly appeared from behind my body.
Confused, that's the one word that's right to represent my thoughts and feelings. Before long, I saw Grandma Ratih start to stand up and put both of her palms (without touching) right on Uncle's head.
15 Minutes passed in silence, my eyes fixed on the invisible figure. He seemed to start pulling something (like black smoke from Uncle's crown. Then, his mouth started moving slowly but surely.
After a few minutes, I saw something dark coming out of Uncle's chest and at the same time, Grandma's palm blackened as well. Even the hand veins to Grandma's face also looked very thick. It's like snake venom, I said without a sound.
"Bronghom ...." There was a soft sound from a child not a human nation and upon hearing that word, Grandma Ratih stared at the source of the voice.
Before long, I saw Mbah Siji holding the girl away from Grandma Ratih affectionately. His face, body shape and hair were exactly the same as that of Grandma Ratih.
"Mamak ..." she cried once more, crying like a human child who was afraid of losing his mother.
Seeing the girl crying, I cried too. I cried as much as that boy, I did not care at all about the other assessment of myself which seemed to suddenly cry for no reason.
Seriate.
