"Keep if he's sincere, you plan on turning to him when I'm not on your side?"
I couldn't answer it when the wound re-appeared on the look on his handsome face.
Gibran held his breath, the look in his eyes emitting anger mixed with sadness but I could do nothing to calm him down.
For a moment the atmosphere became silent, neither I nor Gibran, we both no longer spoke to each other.
It's still quite early in the morning and the road atmosphere is a little jammed, I turn my face towards the window because Gibran's sad expression is quite bothering me, making me want to rub his shoulders and smile warmly at him and say, "if only I could turn away then I would have done it long ago."
That way you won't get hurt again, right?
So quiet, the atmosphere that grabbed us was so easy to turn into concentrated that it was difficult to breathe.
"Jasmine, you should know why I married Ruby...." Gibran finally spoke, he broke this torturous silence.
I then turned to look at him who was now holding tightly to the steering wheel and looking straight ahead.
He looked tormented to continue his words, until the end he spoke again.
"The day I was supposed to catch up with you, but I made that mistake instead. I ruined Ruby's life."

....
"Miss, please give me Jasmine's address, I beg you to allow me to correct my mistake," Gibran pleaded as he continued to follow wherever Grandma Jasmine stepped.
"Nearly four years, Gibran. Where have you been all this time?" say Grandma Jasmine in passing. Currently he is still busy making the order cake that must be sent tonight as well while it is already three in the afternoon and Gibran continues to bother him.
"Yes, I'm a loser. It took me a long time to find courage. The mistake I made to Jasmine was too big, I'm afraid she never wanted to forgive me but it feels like I'm dying every day because she's not here," it was obviously Gibran who was deliberately blocking Grandma Jasmine's steps.
Jasmine's grandmother was silent for a moment, she stared at Gibran's shabby face that looked even thinner and chaotic. The handsome teenager who spent every day in his house and managed to captivate his grandson now turned into a messy young man as if he had lost his spirit.
"What if Jasmine has a boyfriend? All this time my grandmother knew she was always the same Juna," explained Grandma Jasmine who seemed to have no heart to say it.
Gibran's face immediately looked paler than before, the look of his eyes increasingly lost direction and his tears were already welling up in his eyes after hearing all that.
"I wouldn't force Jasmine if she was in love with someone else... I just want to apologize to him, I want to explain everything that I'm not deliberately pretending not to know that Jasmine's father is Ruby's father."
Jasmine's grandmother still did not give an answer even after Gibran started crying, the old woman instead stepped inside her room, leaving Gibran alone in the kitchen.
Gibran's body fell limp, he sat in the corner of the kitchen crying holding back his cancer-like yearning that ravaged his entire body from being too painful.
"It's...."
Gibran raised his gaze, his tears still wetting his face as he stared at Grandma Jasmine's face which was currently giving a piece of paper to him.
"But you have to promise not to force Jasmine if indeed she does not love you,"
Although it felt heavy, even so suffocating, but Gibran still nodded his head while picking up a piece of paper bearing Jasmine's address, then he quickly wiped his tears and hugged Jasmine's grandmother briefly.
"There's still a lot, Grandma." said Gibran happily before finally stepping away from Jasmine's house where his grandmother could only see from a distance, a happy expression that had not been seen for a long time on Gibran's handsome face made him subconsciously smile.
...
"Where are you Gibran? It's still working hours, right?" ask Ruby who also works in the same company with him, the difference is Ruby becomes a secretary.
He was quite surprised because Gibran had stepped out of the room of his boss with a face that was different from usual because since the departure of Jasmine, Gibran turned into a cold man who was short-tempered not even rarely did Gibran blatantly ignore him.
"I take my leave" Gibran replied in his usual cold tone as if they had never been familiar before.
"Why leave? Sick brother?" ruby asked once again who was still at home lingering in Gibran's room.
"I want to follow Jasmine." replied Gibran, but this time he looked at Ruby after previously ignoring her.
"Jasmine's Life?" Ruby could no longer manage her expression, trying to hold back her tears from dripping, Ruby asked again, "Can I come along? I miss Jasmine too...."
Gibran then placed his belongings on the table and stepped over to Ruby who was currently standing in front of her desk.
"Do you know what my biggest mistake was?" gibran asked while urging Ruby until the girl immediately stepped back in fear.
"You... You're my biggest mistake, Ruby!"
Now that Ruby is no longer able to stem her tears, her heart breaks when Gibran says all of that without the slightest guilt.
"My relationship with Jasmine has become a mess all because of you! You deliberately incited me, manipulating me as if my feelings for Jasmine were unreal!"
Ruby could not breathe, she was no longer able to look into Gibran's eyes, which were filled with anger, and before he finally stepped away after carrying all his belongings.
...
The plane ticket is in his hands with his passport. Gibran is getting impatient to meet Jasmine again even though Jasmine will refuse her arrival later, the most important thing is that Gibran can see her again.
Breathe in the same air as her, and tell her "i love you, the only and forever"
Gibran smiled once more, increasingly impatiently waiting for his departure when his phone suddenly rang.
"Sister Gibran! Brother Gibran help me!"
"Ruby?!" Gibran immediately gasped at Ruby's voice which sounded frightened.
"Sister, I'm so scared, help me.... Aaaaaa!!!"
"Damn!" Gibran said he immediately ran out of the airport, looking for a taxi as quickly as possible to break into a taxi ordered by someone else.
Through the location sent by Ruby, Gibran tracks her whereabouts while trying to reach her but Ruby no longer picks up her phone.
After fifteen minutes of travel, Gibran finally arrived at a hotel. He ran straight to the bar in the hotel.
"Sister Gibran!"
Gibran turned to the direction of the voice, seeing Ruby walking while creeping on the wall. He looks staggering, but when Gibran is about to approach him there are two men coming and pull Ruby.
"Please! I don't want to.. pelein!" Ruby thrashed, she was trying to break away from those two people who wanted to drag her along.
There was no need to wait long for Gibran to immediately beat up the two men until they immediately ran away.
"Ruby, are you okay?" gibran asked worriedly as he held onto my body Ruby who could barely stand up straight.
"Sister, I'm so scared." replied Ruby, crying softly, she dropped her body into Gibran's arms and slowly Gibran began to return his arms and clenched Ruby's trembling body.
