REX AND REN

REX AND REN
The Road to England

I finally had to use the bathroom in my mom's room. If I have to wait for Rex's bitch, I might be late for school. Expecting Rex to budge, it was like waiting for snow in a tropical country. I've always protested about this to my mom. Guess what answer I got?

“Ma, may I have my own bathroom?"

“Only bathroom above why?”

“Rex it if you've been in the bathroom a long time, Ma!”

“Yes, consider it to practice your patience, Ren. In part, we must save water, electricity and soap, much later redundant.”

A really unexpected answer. Tired of hearing that answer - it just made me never ask about the private bathroom again to mama.

Today I went to school as usual, even though it was almost too late. The first lesson I had was well. The first hour is Physics and Mr. Revelation who happens to be our homeroom teacher. I have always been pleased with how to teach Mr. Revelation, because he can explain in detail all the formulas of physics, especially about Einstein's terrors. Of course not all my classmates liked him, I mean with physics. Maya, for example, always yawns almost every ten minutes. So during the two hours of lessons, he could yawn roughly above ten times. And there was also Agung, the fat guy who sat in the back corner, always caught sleeping. He is often asked to go to the toilet to wash his face. Before class, Mr. Revelation called me.

“Ren, try to come here for a while.” said Mr. Wahyu. Maya who was sitting near me immediately looked at me with a wondering expression. I just put my shoulder on a sign of not understanding, because I also don't know why I was called.

“Iya, Sir.” Despite the doubt, I kept moving forward. Pak Wahyu took off the glasses and stored them in a green box on which engraved the optical writing of famous glasses with gold ink.

“Later after this, you to the teacher's room, yes. There is something I want to talk about.” he explained while moving and carrying his bag. I can only nod.

“Iya, Sir.” I replied. I looked at the back of Mr. Revelation who came out through the door with a beating heart. Why am I being called to the teacher's room?

I walked back to my desk, there of course was Maya with her curious face.

“Ren, why?”

“Tau know.”

“Kok don't know? Last time Mr Wahyu said what?” Honestly, right now I feel afraid because usually the students who are called to the teacher room must be problematic students.

I was just called to the teacher's room this time. Does this mean I'm in trouble?

“I was sent to the teacher's room.” Maya was surprised.

“Hah? Why?”

“Not knowing, May.” I straightened my desk and then left.

“Ren, later story, yes!” exciting Maya. Without answering anything I directly walked through the long corridor towards the teacher room. Some students were seen wandering outside the classroom. There's a bunch of girls sitting around huddling. They look like they're eating something, is that a lizard or a sausage? Hold still. Looks like I'm starting to slur. What the hell am I doing? Oh, true...Mr. Revelation. I was walking into the teacher's room at the behest of Mr. Revelation.

After struggling with my fear, I finally arrived and sat down before Mr. Revelation. I was a bit worried about having problems with my job or what. But apparently Mr. Revelation just wanted to talk about my learning progress. She said that as a homeroom teacher, she should have guided me and offered to be my academic mentor. Of course I accept his offer with pleasure. He was also pleased with my grades and asked me if I was having any difficulties in certain subjects.

“Not really, Mr.” I said while thinking because I guess I do not have problems in almost all subjects.

“I think, I can follow everything.” my dog.

“Good. I'm glad to hear it.” Mr. Revelation seems to be signing something.

“Then, have you decided to continue your education after graduation?” continued. I nodded confidently.

“Already, Sir.” He seemed to understand.

“Where?”

“Oxford.” Hearing my answer, Mr. Revelation looked a little surprised, but then a smile appeared on his face. It seems that Mr. Revelation is satisfied with my answer.

“You still have time for activities outside of school?” Mr. Revelation's question made me fall silent.

“Activities outside of school?”

“Iya, exkul.” I can only shake.

“What's up?” ask Mr. Revelation astonished.

“I don't participate exculp, Sir.”

“Why? Is there any difficulty dividing time?” ask with a serious look.

“No, Sir. It's just, I'm not interested.” That's the best answer I can give. I can't possibly tell Mr. Revelation that I'm not comfortable interacting with a lot of people and more comfortable with myself. I mean, I don't want Mr. Revelation to know how introverted I am because it's not something to be proud of like my grades.

Pak Wahyu sighed and leaned his back to the back.

“Hmm...Look, Ren. Father's advice, maybe you should follow the activities of exkul. This can be a good plus for your college application application later. Usually the overseas campuses are very considerate of things like this. Exchule what students follow while he is in school.” he said later.

Thinking about extracurricular activities made me uneasy. I immediately imagined a room with many students in it and I was in the middle of them. Okay, maybe I did it while watching Rex's basketball game yesterday. But it was only for entertainment, while watching Rex score points accompanied by the cheers of the audience. This time the situation is different. Extracurricular is an activity that requires me to work on and learn something. And it certainly has to interact with other students. Just thinking about it made me nauseous and want to vomit.

I stared at the rows of papers on the mading. A while ago, I agreed with Mr. Wahyu's suggestion to try to follow one of the extracurricular activities. And here I was, standing looking at every piece of writing with a million confusion without being able to decide anything. I saw Maya walking towards me while holding a peek in her hand.

“Ngapain is Ren here? Wanted from earlier, also.”

“So Mr. Wahyu called me to the office. It's also just back.”

“Oh, yes. What's the problem?” tanyanya. I turned my eyes back to the mading.

“No. He was just talking about college grades. I kept being told to join exkul.” I replied weakly while sighing tired.

“Ekskul? Why just now? Is it a problem if you don't come? No, right?”

“Say it could be a plus for my college application later.”

“Oh, yes. You will go to England, yes.” replied Maya mangosteen as if understanding what I was feeling.

“Hmm. Let's see, there is any excrement here..” Maya peeked at the writing of mading with her finger.

“There are cultural and artistic exkul, cuisine, literacy, public speaking .. This is suitable for you, Ren.” said Maya while grinning and of course immediately got a fatal plot from me.

“Ah, computer exculpation! This is it, Ren.” I followed the writing that Maya pointed to.

COMPUTER CLUB

I don't think this one is so bad. Maybe this will suit me. A lot of my Oxford dreams last night came to light. Well, my values have been very good, Mr. Revelation also bilag. Just need to follow one extracurricular activity, then everything will be perfect. I've been trying so well all this time. I can definitely!

“May, you're coming too, right?” Hearing my question Maya immediately nodded in surprise.

“Aduh...Ren's. I can't follow the ginian exkul. Later vertigoku kumat.” said Maya while holding her nape.

Basic Maya, since when did she have vertigo? Sometimes in times of great distress like this, Maya can turn into a friend who is not qualified. But no problem, I can definitely get through this. This computer club is my way to England. Well, I've made up my mind.
