REX AND REN

REX AND REN
What Just Happened?

I walked like a dazed person out of the computer room. My mind is branching now, which was an emotion because of Abi's actions, now changed with.ebah how to explain it but I was very confused. What does all this mean?

As I continued to think, I dragged my feet until I reached the parking lot. There's Rex and Mr. Alif waiting.

“For so long, Ren? Where are you from, anyway?” rex protest. I did not respond and immediately entered the car.

After Rex entered, Mr. Alif was immediately gas. But Rex seems dissatisfied with my residence.

“Ren, you why, anyway? Persambet?”

I ignored him and was busy with my own thoughts. I subconsciously stroked my chin, trying to make sense of the situation.

“Ren! Woy!” jolt Rex and instantly make me jump in shock.

“Apaan anyway, Rex!”

“You are what, from earlier on invited to speak diem aja.”

I just grinned because it was my fault that I didn't hear Rex. But it's not really my fault, it's Niko's fault that's also now filling my mind.

Rex just shook his head while clucking. Then he looked out the window. Maybe it wouldn't hurt if I asked Rex, I mean, I wanted to know what he thought.

“Rex,” call me.

“Apaan...” he replied in a lazy tone without turning his head. I soaked my lips with saliva, for some reason they suddenly became dry.

“Can no one fall in love again?” tanyaku carefully. Try as hard as possible to avoid being too flashy.

“Ya, canalah.” replied origin. But the next second, Rex immediately looked at me with wide eyes, exactly like the antagonist of the soap opera on tv.

“A-pa?” I said nervous.

Rex squinted his eyes.

“Don't say you're better than that jerk,” he said in a furious tone.

Shaking, reflexing, I crossed my hands to form the letter X

“Ngak!”

No way, never!

Rex was bearded but still looked at me suspiciously. I don't think it's a good idea to ask her now.

“Udah, just another lupain! I'm just originally because I just read the novel.” I said as normal as possible to avoid Rex.

Back, the response was just a beard but now there was a thin smile on his face. Sly smile! Then Rex looked out the window again. I'm sure one hundred percent, his brain is now deducing absurd theories about me, for sure.

***

Okay, so you guys don't get confused, let's go back and see what happened a while ago in the computer room.

“Can I say something?” ask Niko.

Whahuh? What does he want to talk about? I suddenly felt my heart beating. Oh my...

I finally cleared up a few times to calm down.

“What?”

“The truth is this problem is not necessarily strange like gini,” I was confused by the words of Niko until unconsciously my eyebrows linked.

“Pelik?” Niko nodded. Oh, I think I know where this conversation is going.

“Between you and Abi.” he replied.

I guessed!

“It seems that it is open your business, deh.”, I said. Because that's the fact, I mean, my problem and Abi have nothing to do with Niko. So why would he even bother taking care of people's business?

“Indeed yes, but I just want to say, that Abi is not entirely wrong.”

Hearing that, I laughed. I leaned back, folded my hands on my chest while looking at him.

“Indeed it is the law of nature, if fellow men it must defend each other.” My cynic.

Niko smiled then sighed.

“I also did not say that you are wrong, you are also not completely wrong, kok.” pause for a moment, then Niko continued.

“Try you think fine, what's wrong if Abi does not like the same you keep you rejected? What's wrong if you like him? No, right?”

What the hell is he! Without caring about my expression that I was sure was currently clearly drawn on my face, annoyed. Relaxedly Niko continued.

“Abi is a good person, just the wrong way. I think, he is also confused about how to make nanggepin your feelings to him.”

“Udah, do not have to beat around the bush. What do you mean by gini? If you just want to make me add sprains, meningan you stop now.” spray me.

“The bottom line is, I don't want to because of this, the computer club gets messed up.”.

“Oh...so you mean I fucked up, so?”

“But you mean it, right?”

“Nggak.”

I can feel my nose gobbling up with emotion. This kid really! I did not expect that Niko who usually looks quiet and cynical turned out to be chatty aka a lot of nonsense!

“But, by the way, I salute your actions when kicking his legs. For the size of a heartbroken person for being rejected, you are brave enough.”

My mouth immediately gaped at his words. Isn't this Niko sensitive that I'm really in the emotional red zone right now? Like a bomb, I'm ready to explode. But with his ease, he spoke like that. Like it's not a problem for me. Enough, I'm tired of arguing. Finally I turned my eyes to my computer screen which was still plastered by my chatbot.

“But,”

“What else?”cut me off before Niko finishes her chat. For God's sake, can't he just shut up and leave me?

“You can't be emotional?” his protest.

Why is he protesting? The person who should have been protesting was me because I was being verbally bullied! I just grunt, stupid!

But apparently, Niko still wants to chirp.

“I was wondering, why would you want to join a computer club?"

“Why not?” I replied cynically while giving the sharpest look I had. Niko shakes her shoulders.

“Now, it seems you are not the type of person who is interested in computers.”

“Oh..so you mean, only people who know the ins and outs of computers like you deserve to come in here, so?” reply with great emphasis.

Is he now willing to act cocky even though he's a computer genius? He thinks he's the only genius here? Wait until I show you how to solve twenty math problems in five minutes.

“I didn't say that. Just usually, people who enter suddenly out of their comfort zone, must have a certain purpose. Yes, right?”

My tongue immediately complained to hear the word ‘destination' spoken. True, indeed my original purpose here was not to get involved in such a chaotic situation as now. But because of my dream, Oxford. I cleared my throat a few times before answering.

“I came here, to get added value for college applications in Oxford later.” I said. I also don't understand why I'm saying this to Niko. It's just, I feel the need because I don't want him to think that I'm here just to pursue Abi's love.

“Hmm..i see,” murmured while nodding.

“Typically, make lectures outside need letters of recommendation, right?” continued.

I straightened my back and looked at him seriously. I mean, Niko knows about the mechanics of studying abroad, does she plan to study outside as well?

“Iya, minimum two.” I said. He seemed to think.

“If you want, I can ask Mr. Surya to write a good recommendation letter for you.”

Back, I felt my mouth open.

“Solar Pack?” I said that sounds like a fool. Niko just nodded. Mr. Surya is a chemistry teacher who is feared by all students in school and is a super killer teacher. Once, he punished almost half of the students in the class, standing in the field for two hours of lessons, for not being ready for PR. Until someone fainted and afterwards they all confessed.

“Why?” manya suspect. Who knows if this Niko just wants to get me?

“I just want to help you, kok.” he replied while shrugging his shoulders. I looked at Niko's face, there was no sign of joking there. Does that mean he was serious about his talk just now? If that were true, I would be a very lucky person! Because in addition to the respected super killer teacher, Mr. Surya was also quite famous among education practitioners, foreign graduates as well.

“OK, so, your chatbot, what name would you like to give?” ask Niko who seems to want to end the conversation about Mr. Surya.

I stared at my komputel screen while frowning.

“Emang, should you name?”

“Iya.”

“For example?”

“As far as you are, the important thing should be simple, easy to remember and have meaning.”

I'm amazed, what name should I give you? When I think of the names of my favorite scientists, I suddenly have an idea. I wrote a word with a capital letter there and Niko laughed at it.

“This is real, want you to give this name?” I raise my eyebrows while smiling with satisfaction.

“Yes, the kayak you said, is simple, easy to remember and has a deep meaning.”

I chose that word to represent my feelings for all the chaotic events I've been through the past few days. Including this chatbot, which incidentally there is Abi interference in it.

S H I T's

I think it's a suitable name.

“From this, it is better to replace it with a name.ini.”.

Niko said that while typing a new name and deleting the SHIT earlier.

My eyes looked at the computer screen.

L O V E's

That's what he wrote. I glanced at him and was even more shocked when I found Niko looking at me with a sweet smile. As if to say, ‘Look at this enchanting smile of mine.’ And subconsciously, my mouth was gaping for the umpteenth time plus Niko's smile was automatically sticky on my brain.

Oh my... What the hell is going on?
