Let's Finish What We Started

The next day, all the gossip about me began to subside. Not that it is lost, some are still talking about it, what else when I see me passing by or passing by. For now, I put on a fool mode because I have a plan. Well, I've committed myself, to finish what I started.

I nodded steadily.

I told Maya about my plan to see Abi again to get things done. I think there's still something we need to talk about, I mean, in a good way. We were walking through the corridor to the classroom. Of course there are still those who stare at me cynically. But like I said, I'm in stupid fashion.

“Need me temenin?” ask Maya again. I don't know why I feel like there's a tone of disbelief when Maya asks. I understand, maybe he's afraid my plan will end the same as it did.

“Not done, May. I can do it myself.”. Maya just nodded then said nothing more.

When we were about to arrive, suddenly a group of girls approached.

What do they want?

I was quite surprised when I saw that there was a Vania among them.

“Can we talk to you for a minute?” vania said in a serious tone. Maya and I exchanged looks.

“She or I?” ask Maya.

Vania clucked violently while shaking her hair.

“Ren.”.

Maya wrapped her arms around my shoulder in a protective manner.

“By the way here, we are horrified, kok.”

Vania rolled her eyeballs.

“I just want to talk to Ren. So, can you not interfere?”

“Udah, it's okay, May.” I said to convince Maya. I can understand Maya's attitude. I mean, when there's a bunch of girls who suddenly come to your friend and then with a serious gesture want to talk. Of course it will make you as his best friend worried, right?

Then Vania took me away. Maya glanced at me from her shoulder, with wide-eyed as if asking, ‘What's up?’ I replied with a shrug, as if to answer, ‘I don't know!’

“What?” Although I was confused, I responded.

What the fuck? I looked at Vania with my mouth gawking.

“Mak matchlangin?” Vania nodded.

I don't understand, can Vania not think rationally? It's obvious Rex is being indifferent to her, it's a sign that Rex doesn't like her. But why is he still rattling, anyway!

“But, Ren..” I let go by force. Then he sighed and looked back at her.

“Denger, yes, it's up to you to take care of me. You don't have to chase Rex anymore. Just focus on yourself or find another.”

I don't know what happened to me today. But I felt excited, like on a rollercoaster ride, my body was pumping adrenaline faster than usual.

After the last bell rang, I immediately rushed out of the classroom. Running my original plan, talk to Abi. Maya actually kept forcing me to come along, but I managed to convince her that I could handle this myself. Of course with the guarantee I have to tell every detail to Maya later. No problem, no matter what I'm going to tell you.

It didn't take long, I got to the front door of the computer room. Before entering, I inhaled a lot of breath and then threw it away slowly. As I gathered my determination and courage, I opened the door and entered.

I can feel all my eyes staring at me. But I don't care. I circled around, there were only three people; Niko who was sitting in an ordinary place, Rudy who looked at me horror and of course the most wanted Saylendra Abhimanyu aka Abi.

Abi Langsng stood up from the bench when he saw me walking towards him. When I arrived, he immediately took one step back and got defensive.

Why her? Am I that scared?

Abi was silent for a moment then snorted and smiled wryly.

“Again, there's nothing we need to talk about anymore. In fact, we shouldn't even see you again. Everything is clear to you? Anyway, why else are you here? Get out of the club.”

“I joined this club not because of you. I'm here to learn..”.

Abi laughed immediately.

“Learn? Make a simple chatbot you can't, learn what? You should ask yourself, why are you here.”

I leaned my back in annoyance. Not with Abi, not with my chatbot, I can't finish it. I'm getting frustrated now.

I looked up and was surprised to find someone standing next to me.

Without excuse, he pulled the chair next to me and sat down.

I looked at him like a fool. I mean, this never happened before. Niko who always seemed cynical and busy with herself, was now beside me?

Like a cow that fits her nose, I do exactly what she tells me to do. I mean, I was too shocked. I don't even understand what's going on right now.

I'm trying to change my chatbot variables with random letters and numbers. And after pressing enter, I was amazed by my computer screen.

Chatbot succeeded!

“Successful..” I said while looking at him in amazement. I'm just as happy as someone who just won the lottery.
