REX AND REN

New Problem

For the first time, I was popular all over school. Not popular in a good sense, I mean, like breaking the Goldbach Conjecture formula or winning the world science olympiad. But I'm popular as myself.

That is as an introvert bar girl plus a psychopath.

“I swear it wasn't me gossiping, Ren.” Maya kept saying.

“I know, May.” I said weakly.

Okay, let's analyze this situation, besides me and Maya back then, there was Rex and the rest of the computer club. I believe Maya is not the kind of bucket girl who likes to gossip. Rex, although annoying, he couldn't possibly do something to embarrass me. So I can draw the conclusion that one of the members of the computer club leaked it. It could be Abi!

I can no longer count how many whispers I hear throughout the day.

I even heard someone singing a song with ridiculous lyrics that clearly insinuated me.

Okay, enough! I was just trying to calm down, not provoke their provocation. Fighting them will only create new problems.

As if that wasn't bad enough, Mr. Revelation called me to the office. Well, it didn't take long for him to find out the gossip that was circulating. I'll bet you, all the teachers must know it too or even they gossip too.

Maybe Mr. Revelation doesn't want to make me depressed or anything like that, or maybe he's afraid of my psychopathic illness coming back and going berserk. I don't know, I hope he doesn't believe it.

The sea of students immediately split as soon as I passed the corridor, as if I was a patient with an infectious disease or something. It was a new and strange experience for me. Previously I could freely walk anywhere without any glancing or even they even thought I did not exist. Well, that's what your life is like at school if you're an introvert who only has one friend.

On the other hand, Maya seemed to just casually respond to the circumstances and comfortably walk beside me. Every now and then he seemed to come across students who were looking at us too intensely, like a threatening look.

Okay, no matter how hard I face all of this, I'll finally give up. I mean, who the hell can stand being gossiped all day, in all places including the canteen. I can't take it anymore!

In a hurry, I walked towards the hall where Rex was training. I know I shouldn't suspect Rex, but there's no harm in asking him.

“Rex!” My voice sounded echoing. Rex who was dribbling the ball immediately stopped. Then he ran up to me followed by the curious gazes of his friends.

“What's up?” ask her while wiping the sweat with a towel around the neck. I could see there was sweat dripping from her hair.

I looked at him while folding my hands to his chest.

“You must have been horrified by my gosipin people?” my pedicabs. Rex raised next to his eyebrows.

“Gossip? So, you came all the way here to tell me about gossip?”

I'm shaking.

“Soal you like Abi?”

“Ssttt..” I directly pressed Rex's lips with my fingers, peering at his friends. I think Rex's voice is too loud!

Rex put my hand away.

“Terus why do you so much to me? I don't have time to make up such a cheap story. You should ask the jerk, or the same thing.” Rex objected.

I know that's exactly what I have to do. But the thing is, I'm still not ready to go back to the computer club, or meet Abi again. I'm not a coward, am I! It's just, I haven't completely forgotten about everything that happened.

“Ya, udah.” said. Rex was about to return to training but suddenly someone called.

“Rex!” Me and Rex both looked.

There was Vania walking towards us.

What's he want?

“Hadeh!” moody Rex.

Why is Rex's reaction like that?

“Rex, more training, yes?” greet Vania with a bright smile.

“Iya.” Rex replied accordingly.

“Ngapain you here?” ask Rex.

“Ah, yes. No, I just want to give this to you. Surely you will report out of training.” said Vania who thrust a red luch box on Rex.

Whatisit? Sushi again?

“Eh, there is Ren apparently, kirain who..” said Vania while wagging her hair.

Lah, since I was here, this big is invisible? Oh my...

I'm just smiling.

“What's new?” Rex seemed to shake the lunc box in his hand. Honestly, I was curious too.

“That's kroket contents. There are meat contents, quail eggs, shrimp, squid continues.there are special croquettes filled with love.”.

Instantly I coughed at hearing that and just got a murderous look from Vania.

“Eh, denger-denger, you have a problem yes same child..” Vania had not yet finished her words, Rex interrupted.

“Ya, already. Thanks for the croquet. Then I want to practice again, bye.”

I could see Vania's face was red and then she turned around. But before leaving, Vania looked at me while grumbling.

“You don't fuck with him?” my many. Rex looked at me confused.

“She obviously likes you, until all food. But how do you do it?” Rex just shakes his shoulders.

“He who keeps like that,” his answer is relaxed like it is not important and it makes me angry.

“Rex, you are if you do not like, do not give hope.” my wrath.

“Who gives you hope?”

“You don't know what it's like to be hurt by being rejected by someone you like! That makes everything so messy!” my annoyance.

“Kok you so angry at me anyway, Ren?” rex protested in an annoyed tone as well. I can feel all eyes on us now.

“You are the same as Abi!” I got upset and then left.

I know I shouldn't have done this to Rex, because that wasn't my original goal. But looking at Vania earlier, I remembered myself carrying a snickerdoodle full of sugar but ending up heartbroken. I don't know.I think I'm really crazy right now.
