Basketball Match
“Go! Rexy Go's! Rexy Go!”
“One! Two! Three! Rexy show your charms!”
The shouts of the school cheerleaders rang out to all corners of the audience stands. All the benches are fully filled and of course predictable average inhabited by women. The school deliberately emptied the last two hours of subjects so that students could watch and support the school basketball team that will compete. It is clear that the mummification made the whole school residents excited, especially women. I turned to the side and found Maya clapping cheerfully following the cheerleader dance in the field.
“May, why the hell are we here? Out, yuk!” Maya looks at me.
“We are here to watch basketball. It's okay Ren's times, once in a while. You have to learn to socialize with others. Don't be alone keep.”
I just grunted in annoyance and of course Maya was already busy coming back with clapping ria's hands. There was no intention to watch this match. I thought I was going to spend this empty time in the library. But Maya kept pushing and dragging me all the way to this place. And now, here I am. Sitting in the middle of a crowd that makes me feel uncomfortable to watch a shitty Rex game.

I looked at Maya with a clear face.

The referee is seen standing carrying the ball between two players acting as the team captain. Of course you can guess who the captain of our school team is, Rex. Shortly after, the match began. Rex managed to snatch the ball and immediately pass it to a rather thin member of his team, if not the wrong name is Anton. The crowd exploded as Rex was seen again carrying the ball and managed to score the first number.
“Go! Rexy Go's! Rexy Go!” Cheerleader chants were heard again and this time coupled with jogetan ala-ala dangdut.
“Come, Rex!”
“Rex great!”
“I love you, Rex!” Shouts of the women who made my ears almost deaf.
“Come, Rex!” I immediately turned to the side and found Maya screaming with excitement.
“May, the main thing is not just Rex. It was Iqbal, Anton and the others too.” protest me. It's really annoying that I have to hear Rex's name mentioned.
“Iya, anyway. But the most shining and glowing is just Rex.”

Spontaneous Maya and I looked at each other to hear the conversation of two girls sitting in front of us. Of course the number 12 they're talking about is none other than Rex. “Honey, she already has a boyfriend.” Me and the two girls were both surprised by Maya's words.
“Totally?” ask them as if they do not believe. Maya nodded confidently.
“Iya. This is the girl.” Maya replied while pointing at me. What the fuck? I can only stare like a fool. While Maya looks smiling satisfied while grinning.
The two girls immediately looked at me and looked wrong. Their reaction made me also follow the wrong behavior.
“Sorry, yes. We do not know.” replied they then moved and went to find another seat.
“Anaan anyway, May! Not funny.” annoyed me while pounding his thighs.
“Yes, but that's not it..”.

In a situation with Rex virus like this, I don't think I'll be able to fight Maya. He had already started to get busy back supporting Rex in a frenzy. I turned my eyes to the field. Seeing Rex in action again. Rex is seen running, seizing and playing the ball until he finally jumps, floating in the air to get the ball into the basket. Unconsciously a smile was engraved on my face. Seeing it there, it must be admitted Rex does look very cool. At least he doesn't look like a bitch at the moment. After a long time of trying to survive sitting in the middle of this crowd, finally the match was over as well. Our school team with Rex as its star won with a thin score from the opposing team. Rex looks to be doing a victory tos with his team accompanied by cheers of the audience who look very happy. Without any more time, I immediately got out of my seat.
“May, it's done. Let's go home!” take me.
“Okay! Let's go!”
We walked very carefully past the other students who were still sitting at home in the stands. I really want to get out of here, it feels so stifling. But before we reached the exit suddenly someone called out.
“Hey! Wait!”
Maya and I immediately looked for the source of the sound and saw a girl with a high posture as soon as the model approached us.
“You're Ren, right? Rex's brother?” tanyanya while shaking her hair. I just nodded myself. It is rare for anyone other than Maya to call and purposely invite me to talk like this. I glanced at Maya, as if she was confused as well.

“Still, yes.” I don't really know him, but maybe he knows me, I don't know. But for sure I have to say my thanks to him. Maybe this girl wants to try to be friends with me. Thinking about it made my heart happy. After all this time, my friendship list will finally increase!
