Another Surprises

The last two weeks have been so normal that I'm sure I've got my life back. All the gossip about me had died down and I could comfortably walk back down the corridor without having to be showered with scornful gazes.

My spirit was quite high today, despite the cloudy and drizzling weather.

I was in line to buy some meatballs, and after getting them, I immediately joined the corner table with Maya and Vania who were already waiting there.

“Try see, good gak?” said Vania who looks to touch her hair, intends to show off the color of the ombre bed on the inside.

“Change color again?” maya's Comments. Because a few days ago the color was not purple but light gray.

On the other hand, I'm still in the computer club, despite the mess. Sometimes, I also still meet Abi there, mostly by chance, but I don't care. Unwilling to continue being a burden, I decided to bury all the bad memories of Abi and act foolish.

As Abi and I spread the distance between us, Niko and I got closer. I mean, as a friend, not as a replacement for Abi or anything like that. I don't want to repeat a bad story a second time, donkeys just don't want to fall in the same hole, do they?

Niko helped me a lot with computers, and believe it or not, I think I'm really interested in learning about it. But of course, formal learning remains a top priority. The way Niko explains and gives an example, is very exciting, almost as exciting as Pak Wahyu when explaining the formula of Physics. And it makes me like, I mean, at home.

In addition, Niko is also committed to helping me get a letter of recommendation from Mr. Surya who I later learned that he was his uncle. Wow..how lucky I am!
