Chapter 38's

Alexander and I sat down. We write the terms of the agreement that will be set before our engagement.

“Actually I have something to ask you about this agreement.”

I looked at Alexander who had just spoken. He looked very serious and did not look back at me at all.

“What?” my many.

He was silent for a moment before speaking again.

“You don't plan on leaving me after this don't you?” tanyakanya.

“Huh?”

I glanced at what the man had just said. Not long after that I laughed. We weren't even officially engaged yet, but he already asked me if I was planning to leave.

“Where did that stupid thought come from?” ask me in a joking tone.

“Entahlah. I thought it was the purpose of making an agreement like this.”

My laughter is getting louder. I never thought he would talk like this.

“Serious. Where does such thinking come from?”

Alexander lifted his face and looked at me fixedly. He looked very serious about what he had just said. It makes me feel more amused.

“Good if that's not the reason. In the drama my mother watched there was a scene like this.”

“Such scenes?” many confused.

“Iya. The female lead and the male lead were making a pact before getting married. The agreement also contains about their divorce agreement.”

I laughed when I heard his words. He had been thinking strangely and hesitantly just because of one of the scenes in the drama his mother used to watch.

“What is the title of the drama? I just found out that you also like to watch dramas,” I said in a mocking tone.

“Title: Marriage Contract with CEO. My mom watched it, not me.”

His serious-looking tone made me even more amused. I couldn't help but laugh when I heard it.

“Then do you also want to make our engagement later become a contract engagement?” I said keep teasing him.

He frowned. He looked back at me.

“Of course not. That means we've decided the end of our relationship from the beginning whereas I have no intention at all to end it.”

I just nodded my head while smiling amusedly. Every word that came out of his mouth kept making me feel amused since then.

I am currently at the Jordan family home. This is the day that the engagement talks between me and Alexander are scheduled.

My father and I came as promised to attend dinner at this house. But I never expected to witness such a disgusting sight like this in my entire life. Moreover, this is one of my important days.

“Why are you staring at us like that?” lucy asked as she had been sitting next to Timothee, occasionally touching the man's hand.

He continued to touch her shamelessly despite being pushed over repeatedly by the owner. Both Timothee and Alexander's parents have been pounding ever since as they are distracted by their behavior. They didn't even hide their dislike for Lucy at all. But they didn't throw the girl away even though they didn't like it.

“I think you are too shameless to be able to come here,” Alexander said without looking at Lucy.

Other than Lucy, Timothee's gaze had also been bothering me ever since. He kept staring at me as if he wanted to say something but he couldn't deliver it from now on.

The atmosphere tonight is too uncomfortable. I can't even swallow the food that goes into my mouth properly. I'm afraid I'll have digestive problems after this.

“Do not stare at my fiance like that Timothee!” said Jordan.

He seemed to be aware that Timothee's gaze had been bothering me ever since.

“Even with the woman you chose to be next to you right now, you still seem to want my fiancee.”

Alexander looked at Timothee with a sharp gaze as if he wanted to float a blow on the man's face. Realizing the atmosphere was bad enough, Mr. Jordan cleared his throat to code the two for more calm.

“There's something I want to talk about,” said Timothee came up to me when I just came out of the toilet.

I don't know when he was there. I didn't even know he was following me or waiting for me near the toilet.

“Nothing I want to talk to you about.” I walk to ignore it.

As if not giving up, the man clasped my hand to stop me from trying to leave.

“We need to talk,” he said again.

I tried to brute aside his grasp, but couldn't. He held my hand so tightly that I felt pain.

“Timothee! Where are you?”

Lucy's voice was heard approaching towards me and Timothee. I also increasingly rebel to let go of Timothee's hand. But the hand of the man did not come off since.

Lucy's words hung in the air. He stared dislikefully at me who was standing right next to Timothee at this moment. His gaze sharpened even more as he saw my hand held by Timothee.

“Before long your engagement talk with Mr Alexander is over, but you still intend to tease his sister? Do you really have no shame?!” he said with a disdainful tone.

Timothee was even surprised by what I just said.

“You guys are really laughable. Not satisfied with what you've done behind my back, now you're acting like this?”

I turned my gaze to Timothee who had still not let go of her hand since earlier.

“Release! Don't you see this fucking woman of yours thinks I'm teasing you? He was completely blind to the point of not being able to see that you didn't want to let me go since earlier.”

“It wouldn't have happened if you hadn't teased him!” lucy said she didn't accept.

“Tempting? You fucking j4l4ng who sleeps with someone else's fiancee dare to accuse me of teasing this guy?” I pointed towards Timothee.

I brushed aside Timothee's rough grip. The grip still doesn't go away. I ended up biting the man's hand to stop grasping my hand which was really painful right now.

“ARRGHHH!!” Timothee screamed in pain and made people come crowding.

“It really sucks!” I said as soon as I saw people start coming to us.

I immediately put both my legs away before they surrounded us. I don't want to get involved with Lucy or Timothee tonight. My energy was completely drained despite just sitting quietly in the same room as the two people. Two of the most self-destructive and shameless people I've ever met in my entire life.
