My relationship with my father has been getting worse lately. It was as if my father and I were having a cold war. There were no further talks between us after that. I only felt disappointed every time I passed him and was reluctant to start a conversation with him first.
“How did your parents react?” I asked Alexander.
I've been getting closer to that guy since my fight with Timothee the other day. I also deliberately limited my meeting with Timothee. I don't even really want to communicate with that guy.
Although a few days earlier he treated me well and made me doubt. But her closeness to Lucy made me realize again that basically humans will not change that fast.
The closeness of both makes me grateful because at least I don't wrongly hate people and the grudges embedded in my heart never subside. My intention to take revenge on the two is still burning.
“They are certainly shocked by Timothee and Lucy's affair isn't it?” manya curious.
“Checking?” the man frowned while glancing at me.
I paused for a moment to think back to what had just come out of my mouth. It may be too early to conclude the closeness of the two as an affair. But still the closeness of the two remains unjustified considering Timothee is my fiancee and Lucy is the person I hate.
“Do you think?”
“Isn't it too early to call it an affair?”
“What's the difference?” I asked without any guilt.
I glanced at the man sitting next to me as he drove his car towards the campus. It seems that my driver has changed from Timothee to Alexander.
The man just sniffed both his shoulders indifferently. I don't ask anymore either. I was even more curious about the change in his attitude at the moment that seemed no longer interested in me.
“What's with your reaction now?” my many.
“Don't tell me now you're siding with Timothee and Lucy? If so, let's just get it over with. I might be better off looking for someone else to help me than someone as fickle as you.”
No objection came out of the man's mouth. I'm quite upset by his plenipotentious attitude at the moment.
“I'm going down. It feels really uncomfortable,” I said.
Alexander seemed to be deaf to what I just said. He ignored my words and continued to drive his car without reducing his speed at all.
His face looked hard. But he did not dispute at all what I told him. I'm really upset about that.
“I want to go down, Sir,” I said with great emphasis.
“Again it is not a good thing if me and Dad arrive at the campus together. Moreover, you seem to start to feel doubtful about the steps I made. Let's just stop getting here before we go any further.”
The man's car tire squeaked as he came to a sudden stop. I even nearly flung forward if I wasn't wearing a seatbelt.
“The father why the hell?”
Alexander stared blankly at the road that was right in front of us at this moment.
“What do you mean? What do you want to end?” ask her with a blank look.
I realized the man's car had stopped. I opened the door and got out of the man's car.
I pulled out my phone and ordered an online taxi to take me to college. I don't really like the atmosphere between me and Alexander right now. Or maybe I'm just being too sensitive lately.
“Where are you going?”
The man got out of his car and caught up with me standing on the sidewalk ordering a taxi online.
“Ke campus,” I said in a flat tone without glancing at Alexander in the slightest.
“Do you not believe me?” tanyakanya.
I glanced at him with a look of disdain. There is not the slightest bit of respect I place on that man right now.
“Didn't you not even deny at all if you are in doubt and can't side with any of me and Timothee. I don't like people who are wishy-washy and half-and-half.”
The man was silent. The one standing beside me right now is unlike the Alexander I've known all along. He was more cowardly than usual.
“Then what should I do for you to believe?” tanyakanya.
“Timothee even refused firmly to break off the engagement with you and continued to convince both my parents that she and Lucy had nothing to do. My parents also prefer to trust his current words compared to the rumors circulating about both.”
I frowned and gave him a look of wonder.
“Didn't you want me too? Then why do you not fight for me in front of both parents?” manya curious.
“It's not as easy as you think. I'm looking for a way to do that, too. But Timothee kept insisting that he would not break his engagement to you no matter what. It seems that he is starting to like you,” Alexander said in a raucous voice.
I rolled my lazy two eyeballs. The figure standing next to me right now really does not look like Alexander the killer lecturer on campus. Or Alexander the heir to the JJ Group. But only Alexander the pitiful guy couldn't even fight for his feelings at all. Even though I have no intention to reciprocate his feelings at all.
Sound evil? After all I have no obligation to be good to everyone. I just want to be good for myself and my future.
“Bapak realize that Mr is the heir of JJ Group? Why are you losing your mind right now?” I said with a look of disbelief to the man.
“Maybe Timothee doesn't want to break off our engagement, but I want to. If you can't with yesterday's rumors, let's make those rumors as if they become facts that they can't even deny at all,” I said with full confidence.
Alexander just glanced at me. I had even prepared a plan to destroy those two people at once.
I didn't know that Timothee still met Lucy a lot even though my relationship with her has deteriorated lately. It made me want to laugh as soon as I heard him refuse to call off my engagement with me. He can't even choose between me and Lucy. Really loser.
“What's your plan?” alexander asked curiously.
“Sometimes we have to be sneaky when dealing with a crafty person,” I said with a grin.
“If not so, we will be destroyed.”
