Repeating Time For The Perfect Revenge

Repeating Time For The Perfect Revenge
Chapter 28's

“It drink first.” He gave me the glass of water I had pointed at.

I stared at him in disbelief. How could he tell me to drink water that made me scream in fear?

Of course I did not accept or even drink the glass of water my father offered me. I backed away with an expression full of fear.

My father who noticed the terrified expression I made immediately pulled out his hand which offered me a glass of water earlier. He watched the glass filled with water while occasionally glancing at me.

“What's with this water?” tanyanya.

“I-it was poisoned,” I said stammered.

Everyone in the room was shocked to hear what I just said. Not long after, the gardener and the security guard who had run after the maid who had escaped from my room came. They brought along the maid who tried to escape earlier.

“What have you done to this water?!” asked my father with an angry expression.

The maid fell silent and lowered her head. He was reluctant to answer the question my father had just asked him. But the residence actually confirmed my father's question indirectly.

THE PLAQUE!

A loud slap landed on the maid's cheek. My father's face was reddened by the overflowing anger.

“Truly unexpected. Killing you isn't even enough for this! Report him to the police so we can know if he did it for his own purposes or he was driven by someone else!”

“No! No!”

The maid tried to kowtow at my father's feet even though both hands were firmly held by two large tall men. My father, who saw him thrashing in order to prostrate his apologies to him, again threw a slap to resuscitate the man.

I could see the blood on the corner of his lips. I recall when my father slapped me in my life when he refused to engage Timothee.

“Don't ever let go of him until the police arrive!”

“You just calm down! Dad will take care of everything,” said my father calmed me down.

The glass of water I thought had been poisoned was still in his grasp. He took her to be handed over as evidence.

“Alicia!” timothee shouted as soon as she reached my room.

His appearance looks messy. The scarf he was wearing was not even in pairs. He looked so panicked and worried that he did not notice his own appearance.

“Are you okay?” she asked while holding both of my cheeks.

He turned my body to the right and to the left to check on me. This is something that has never happened in my life before and I don't want to be touched by his actions like this. I kept pecking in my mind that he was the same man who had an affair with Lucy and shot two hot lead on my chest and he was also the same person who saw me die of poisoning without asking help to anyone.

I clasped both of his hands on my shoulder. He seemed surprised when I did.

“I'm fine,” I said.

“Sgratitude.”

‘You can't be good. It would be better for you to show your rot like Lucy and her mother so that I can hate you even more, my inner’.

Timothee and I came out of my room. My father smiled to see Timothee in our house. I realized that it was most likely my father who contacted him until he could figure out the situation that was going on inside my current home.

“Alicia's condition seems to have improved. I want to go home, Mr. Anderson,” Timothee said.

“No. Stay with us for dinner!”

“Iya," said.

I can only laugh in my heart.  I glanced at Timothee. I hesitated and thought he had changed for the better. But I who had experienced it over and over again was clearly aware that it was just his camouflage so that he could have my father's trust.

Dinner was quiet and occasionally punctuated by conversations between my father and Timothee. Several times my father tried to take me in a familiar conversation with Timothee, but I wasn't that interested. I just answered with a smile.

After dinner, Timothee bailed home. I could only breathe more calmly after the man's departure. I also decided to go back to my room.

“Alexander?” I muttered as soon as I opened my phone and came across some incoming messages from Alexander hinting at his concern with my current condition.

Drrr.... Drrr...

My phone is back vibrating. A short message was sent back by the man.

‘From Alexander:

I'm in front of your house now.’

“Crazy!” I said as I read the message from the man.

I rushed out of my house in a hurry while making a prayer so that he did not have time to meet Timothee who had not been away for a long time.

I was really surprised to get out of my gate and find the man leaning in front of his car. He was acting cool while my own safety was almost in danger if he met Timothee and Timothee grew suspicious of us. The more terrible thing was that he would break off our engagement and make me destitute before I could make him suffer.

“You all right?” ask her while walking closer to me.

Instead of answering his question, I pulled the man back into his car. I don't want anyone else to see us and destroy my revenge plan.

“What's up?” tanyanya.

“You are!” I held back my cries of frustration.

“What if someone sees you? Especially if that person is Timothee.”

The man frowned while looking at me.

“It's not that it's good? Do you want to break off your engagement to Timothee? Or have you changed your mind?”

“No. I didn't change my mind at all,” I said.

I took a deep breath while trying to ease my emotions and panic.

“Indeed I want to break off my engagement to Timothee. But not this way. Didn't you say your parents wouldn't approve if I was the guilty party who broke off my engagement to Timothee? Moreover, his mistake was to have an affair with his own brother.”

Alexander did not reply to my words. He leaned his body on the back of his car seat, crossed his arms in front of his chest and looked at me seriously.

“So, what's your plan?” tanyakanya.

“I don't know yet. There are a lot of things changing now.”

“What do you mean?”

I didn't answer Alexander's question. I'm rethinking about Timothee and Lucy. In my previous life, they had an affair. But I'm not so sure in life this time. Especially after Lucy and her mother were kicked out of my house and the divorce that took place between her mother and my father.

The man certainly thought about the profit and loss he would get. Unless he was indeed made crazy by Lucy even though the girl was already in a destitute condition.
