Chapter 19's

An upset came back to me when I could see with my own two eyes how Lucy was still trying to tease Timothee despite being scorned on campus. He seems too thick-faced to still dare to come to this campus even though no one is on his side anymore.

Everyone knew that he and his mother had been kicked out of my house. Maybe everyone already knows that his mother just divorced my father.

“Gosh! Isn't that your fiancee?”

I stared at the two people I knew. I don't know either of them, but they seem to recognize me, Lucy and Timothee.

“You don't get bothered with Lucy always approaching your fiancee?”

I just laughed at the words of the two people who were out of nowhere. They seem to want to heat me up. But I don't really care about Lucy and Timothee's closeness, because they've had an affair behind my back in a previous life.

“Lucy will never be able to get it,” I said full of confidence.

I knew full well that Timothee was engaged to me for the sake of the AB Company which would later be passed down to me. That's also why he conspired with Lucy and her mother to kill me first.

But this time it was different, Lucy wasn't that valuable anymore. He and his mother were nothing more than homeless people.

The man had previously treated Lucy well, even defending her in order to make peace with me because the girl was still my half-sister. But now that Lucy's mother and my father are divorced, there's no more profit she can get from them.

I could clearly see the dislike expression Lucy had as soon as Timothee called out to me. I laughed and saw him like that. After all, there was indeed nothing good I could see from the most self-knowing creature like him.

Something suddenly hit my right shoulder hard until I fell. My right shoulder is painful. The two palms of my hands that I made a pedestal to hold my body that fell on the ground looked dirty and scuffed.

I could hear Timothee's footsteps coming towards me. The man's voice looked worried.

Two feet in high heels and a bright red color stood right in front of me. It made me know who the perpetrator who just hit on purpose.

Timothee who was close to me immediately pushed the woman back. He even reached the bottom and almost fell because of Timothee's encouragement.

“Hah? You just defended her? This itchy girl?!”

The man helped me stand up. He checked my condition, including the condition of my two dirty and scuffed palms.

“Jaga what you said, Vanya!” Timothee pointed her index finger at the woman in the material-deficient outfit.

He seems to be quite rich, but it seems that the money is not enough to buy better clothes. She was more like a prostitute now compared to the woman from a respectable family.

“What's wrong with me?” asked the woman named Vanya as if she had done nothing wrong.

Timothee raised her hand high and slapped Vanya. The woman turned her face away and closed both her eyes. He seemed to be frightened by the angry expression that Timothee had thrown and the hand that the man had raised to slap him.

Vanya gawked, she seemed to be in disbelief at what she had just heard. He looked at me from top to bottom as if I did not deserve to be the successor of AB Company.

Timothee brushed off the woman's hand. He took me away from there.

“What is your relationship with Timothee?!” vanya shouted demanding an explanation shamelessly.

I noticed Timothee's expression was still hardened. The man led me to his car.

Lucy was still next to the man's car. But Timothee was as if unaware of the girl's whereabouts.

“Kak. Brother all right?” lucy asked in a made-up innocent and innocent tone.

I rolled my lazy two eyeballs. I don't remember ever letting that girl keep calling me sister after my dad and mom got divorced.

Timothee pushed Lucy's body away so she could open the door of her car. The man led me gently into his car regardless of Lucy behind him. The girl looked very upset by the treatment she had just received.

After I sat comfortably in the front passenger seat, the man closed the car door and circled the car. He got into the driver's seat right next to me.

Lucy was still next to Timothee's car when the man started the engine. Timothee drove off without caring about Lucy who had been waiting to be invited to come with us.

I wiped the tears that came out of my eyes while trying to ease the laughter that made my stomach ache.

I just shook my head. I never imagined there would come a day where I could see Lucy being treated badly by Timothee.

The man did not even care about his existence at all. I really feel very satisfied with the cheap show I just saw.

I could see Timothee smiling. But I don't know what made the man suddenly smile.

“Why are you smiling?”

The man shook his head.

“Nothing,” said.

I sniffed both my shoulders no matter. After all I was not so curious about the reason behind that male smile. I have strengthened myself to never be influenced or interested in the man next to me.

“Where are we going?” manya curious.

I didn't have time to ask him when the man suddenly took me away from campus. I was too surprised and just followed the man into his car.

“Ke hospital.”

I glanced at what the man had just said. I gaped in disbelief as I stared at him. I was even afraid that my two eyeballs would come out of his place so surprised.

I wasn't hurt that badly until I had to be taken to the hospital.
